The "spoil yourself contest" winner's details!!

Hello Cheri,

I finally had some time off from work to spoil myself and here are the detail:

I didn't expect to receive the 50.00 blog winning. When I received Cheri's email stating Amanda was passing the winning over to me I was over joyed and so thankful!!
As everyone may have heard my mother passed away on October 4th and I was extremely devastated and really felt lost. I was hit with the harsh reallity that I had to plan a funeral service for my mother who I expected to live nothing less than forever :) Prior to planning the service I hadn't treated myself to anything in over a year. I guess we get so bogged down with life and living that we forget to stop and treat our vessel! After taking a day to enjoy myself this is now something I plan to do at least once a month.
To start my day of spoiling i went to the local coffee shop for a muffin a cup of coffee and a wonderful book and enjoyed the time alone. At that time I didn't know how I was going to enjoy the rest of the day. I decided to do something that my mother and I would always do. i went to the local cosmetology school for a day of beauty. I got a manicure, pedicure, facial, eyebrow wax and my hair curled all for 40.00!!!! It was amazing to say the least. It was so relaxing and I felt wonderful and beautiful afterwards! I just want to say THANK YOU AMANDA AND CHERI from the bottom of my heart. I really needed this. This is something that we all deserve! Even if it means putting aside just $5 or $10 a week just to take that time to stop and treat yourself it is something that is well worth it. Thanks again!

Here we go again...

For those of you who have been following my blog for awhile, this is "old news" and not something that should surprise you. For those of you who are recently tuning it, well pay attention! I can't believe that shes doing it again!

There is another psychic who posts under the name RUBY and claims to be 94% accurate. Please do NOT get suckered into using her for your readings. She actually posts under numerous names on various trying to conceive boards, pretending to be a client of "Ruby's'" who had a very successful reading. This is how she operates. Getting people to goto her and providing them a reading and then when she gets busy seems to fall off the face of the earth, expecting you to pay even more money to have your reading expedited and then just never delivers. Some people have lost money because of her.

I NEVER visit the boards myself. I have on occasion gone to today's parent website, other than that, I do NOT frequent any boards. Even if a client links me to a site where they posted some positive feedback I always tell them I appreciate it, but will not visit the link. I dont like to have any additional information about my clients, its "cheating" and I would rather just use the vibes from my clients and the minimal information that I request. This is what other psychics should do as well. If they do frequent a board, they should be upfront about it.

Ruby seems to think that pretending to be other people is the best way to get more business. This is NOT the first time shes been caught (visit these two links from my blog to see more of the storey

http://iamcheri22.blogspot.com/2009/09/lets-get-cat-out-of-bag-shall-we.html

http://iamcheri22.blogspot.com/2009/09/ruby-has-already-been-at-work.html

I just feel sick that someone can do this to "help" people but then are actually scamming people. It gives everyone of us who are trying to help people a bad name. My clients are done by word of mouth ONLY. I do not bribe people to send clients my way and I treat all of my clients with love and respect. I LOVE to help everyone.

So please... please.. pass on the word, to AVOID using RUBY. I am sure that some people have gotten readings from her and been happy, but I think her tactics for advertising are shady as well as not providing readings that are paid for.

Also located on her site, is the fact shes offering healing..etc.. Please note, this is copied from Elisabeth's Site, and RUBY (Or Christina) does NOT have any formal training to offer these sessions.

Ruby has already been at work -

For those of you just tuning into the blog now and reading the post below, she had already removed the link that showed her post advertising herself as Serenity72 and offering her psychic services along with the picture she had included... so just goes to show you how desperate she is to continue this charade!

please everyone... still pass out the comments below. I really feel its in every ones best interest to be aware before making their decision about who they use. Not everyone seems to be doing this for the best interests of their clients.

Ruby - I know you read my blog. Its time you start doing this the HONEST way and stop the way your promoting yourself.

lets get the cat out of the bag shall we?

First and foremost, its always been my best intentions to NEVER say anything negative about anyone. (okay sometimes my Mother in law drives me batty!) But I always try and not say anything bad about anyone. try and focus on the positive and not say anything bad even when someone is to ask me about another psychic. I have the ones listed below that I trust and recommend. This is not to say that you can't use anyone else. I actually encourage you to find the psychic that you feel connects to you the most. (of course pick me!!! lol. but thats another storey!)

So let me get this off my chest. I have kept quiet about this for too long and really feel that this needs to be brought up. For those of you reading the blog, please PLEASE pass this along. I want people to be aware of what is going on and not be taken for granted. I really do not agre with what is happening and feel that its in everyones best interest to be aware, thus allowing themselves to make the best choice possible.

Yes, for those of you who have figured it out. I am talking about Ruby. Although I do believe her to have a gift, I believe that she is using her gift more for money than doing things the honest way. I believe that this is misleading ALOT of you in regards to how she goes about promoting herself.

As most of you remember, she often posted on numerous sites "tooting" her own horn. She posted as numerous people on different sites saying how good Ruby was and that everyone should try her out. She approached me and asked me to put a conncetion on my site. I am a very good judge of character and something did not sit right with me. I actually googled her and located all these posts and I confronted her. She denied it at first, but later came clean to everyone and apologized. I believed at that time she had gotten off on the wrong foot. I had let it go and although I refused to put her on my site (or even link her from the blog) I never said anything bad to her about to anyone else.

Now lets bring us to why this post is important shall we? Now most of you are aware of Elisabeth (She is one of the psychics that is kind enough to offer her readings to be given away on my blog) shes being "attacked" by a poster named serenity72. Any post on Two week wait that mentions how good elisabeths readings are, are automatically followed by someone named Serenity72 posting about how wrong she was, and how much better Ruby was. Everytime someone posts in there about how Ruby has not provided their reading and they are going to ask for a refund, they get an email shortly after with it completed and they are in shock thinking shes truely psychic and new that they were at the end of their rope with waiting. I feel horrible that these ladies on this site in particular are being trolled.. yes. you guessed it.. By Ruby :(

I do not think that any of the psychics should be on the boards, unless its otherwise stated. I like to have very little information about my clients (only pregnancy number mostly) and going to all the sites I think would cloud that vision or compromise it. I am ONLY on todays parent and even then dont get there very much lately!

Okay, so how did all of this get put together? Well Elisabeth is a bit upset, as the poster serenity72 is bashing her. yes, people are allowed to not always be pleased about their reading, but when its made up and the dates are fabricated (elisabeth was not offering readings at the time this was stated to have occured) and then tooting her own horn. Elisabeth called her out on the boards, telling her to apologize to everyone on Two week wait for what she has done, as well as delete her fabricated posts with an apology to Elisabeth for trying to hurt her reputation in order to gain clients for herself. Well lo and behold elisabeth gets an email from Ruby saying that its NOT her who is posting under serenity72.. Now first off, how the heck would Ruby know that this post was there if she was not a frequent user to that forum/post? Second of all, Elisabeth has done alot of digging, located numerous posts where it mentions how good she is as a psychic all followed by a post from Serenity72 saying how bad she is and everyone should goto Ruby.

I do not feel good that this is happening and decided to look into it myself. I googled Serenity72 and put in Psychic as well. This is the link I was given http://www.cafemom.com/group/39003
Now the sad part, as you can see, Serenity72 is offering psychic readings? Coincidence? No. Unforutnetly I myself have provided Ruby (not her real name) with a reading and was sent that EXACT same picture to use for her connection. So I know that Ruby and Serentity72 are the exact same person.

So in all, I am just saying for you to make up your own mind about who this person is and to be aware. I am not saying she does not have a gift (I do think she does) but I also do not thin that she is being trustworthy or honest, and in my opinon, that kinda is an important thing when helping people with your psychic gifts. If shes trolling your posts, how do you know that the readings shes given you were not skimmed from what you had written?

When ordering a reading from a psychic (ANY PSYCHIC) do NOT provide which site your from nor your login name. I NEVER ask for this information. The only time its ever requested is AFTER you have gotten your reading and have an update (like gender confirmation or a bfp - so I can update my site with your good news) This is never asked before. I start my predictions "blind" and never have any information before hand. You will NEVER find me lurking in the sites. I am someone who is always honest, I have nothing to hide, and my reputation and my clients mean everything to me. All of my clients are word of mouth. I would NEVER post on a site to gather new clients. I do appreciate each and everyone one of you who have contacted me for a reading whether its a free request, or a paid one. Each is treasured by me. I have met alot of amazing woman and hope that i can provide an amazing service.

So please, if you can, either post this information to the members on your site giving them the warning, or linking them to this post of this blog. Feel free to comment on this matter.> and yes Ruby, I am aware of you reading my blog as well. I am hoping you don't remove the information from the link I have posted before everyone has had a chance to find out what your up to. Shame on you.

(to find out more information on what has happened with elisabeth and her storey, check out her blog, link located on the right side I think? Or is it the left? lol)

A storey to share

One of my clients is kind enough to share her ttc journey with everyone. Here is her storey!

As requested my ttc journey, you are welcome to use this on the blog, obviously omitting my last name and my email address!!

I got married in Dec 2006 when both my husband and me were aged 29. We both decided to start a family straight away, which meant I never used contraception!!

A year passed, still no pregnancy, I wasn’t to worried about this but husband was. I kept thinking to myself, it will happen, just relax, another six months passed, still nothing. Went to the doctor and had to wait two months for the appointment. All they did at the first appointment was to take bloods and a sperm sample, which we had to wait another two months for another appointment. The results were I was borderline, in the words of the doctor, ‘my hormones were in the grey area, not bad, but not good either. My Hubby sperm count was a little on the low side which shocked us both because we always thought the problem was me.

Anyway the doctor suggested clomid to help things along, but before this I had to have a scan of my ovaries and a HSG ( all of which was normal)

My husband started taking vitamins to try and boost his count and we carried on trying.

I think it was at this point, I went into denial mode, I kept postponing my appointments, ( I think I did this for the whole of 2008) I cant explain how I felt but I did not want to go to these appointments, I just wanted to carry on naturally and had full faith I would get pregnant!

I must admit, we starting going through a rocky match in our marriage, the pressure of trying to conceive was getting too much for both of us. I would resent it when he would ask me if I had a positive on the ovulation test and he would hate it when I told we had to do it, no matter what!! But somehow we got through it!

Well we kept on trying and hubby sperm count improved, still nothing happened. We went to Zita West clinic where they did a comprehensive test and said that taking antioxidants would help with improving the swimmers and morphology

My husband did some research, and he started taking antioxidants including lypocene in November 2008. Around the same time, I took pregnacare conception tablets, which were supposed to help with getting pregnant. I finally convinced myself I would need to go on my appointment and start clomid. My appointment was booked for 15th May 2009.

I got my BFP on May 10 2009, I was due on the 8th May and wanted to wait a week before I tested, but could not help myself.

To say I was in shock was an understatement, I must have done a pregnancy test everyday for one week and I still find it hard to believe.

It may sound strange, but I could not let myself be happy in case something bad happened, I didn’t even want to tell my mum (but did!).

I recently has my 12 week scan and everything is progressing normal, but I am still scared to be happy. I pray everyday that my baby will be ok and safe. I don’t think I will fully relax until the baby is born!!!

All I can say to all those TTC, is to have faith, I know some women have medical issues but miracles do occur, it did for me.

I still to this day, include everyone who is TTC in my prayers, my only wish is that everyone has their wishes granted, Baby dust to all!!!

N.

Also, thanks to you all for your comments below. I am starting to look for recipes that I can freeze to make it easier for them to have meals that they can just pull out of the freezer and cook and not have to prepare! I have to be specific and make sure I find ones that are dairy free. That appears to be the only allergy.

An update for the family.. they have been released from the hospital. Her son is doing well as to be expected. The mother of course is still beside herself with worry and obviously will take some time. Shes completely on edge, ever worried that the baby will have an episode. Hopefully his medication will help. They were put in touch with a foundation that has picked up the tab for three months of supply of the medication he will need which I am sure has been a relief to them.

Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers.

Ever have "one of those days"?

Today just seems to be one of those days. It started off being up at 7:00am which I guess I can't really complain, but it actually starts with not going to bed early enough last night. We went away this weekend camping for the first time in ages, and its not always easy with taking a 10.75month baby who is not completely walking yet and is afraid to crawl on the grass. (its too bad I didn't take a picture, she was laying over on the grass with her hands up in the air, she did NOT want her hands to touch the grass!) So kept getting cold, seemed to be okay, but really just wanting to go home (to our house and not the trailer) We got home around 3:00pm yesterday and she seemed to be her normal happy self. She went to bed at the "regular" time, and then woke up around 10:30pm. I breastfed her with thinking she would go back to sleep. She would, but kept waking back up. I could hear her a bit stuffed up so I used the nose spray. The dr told me to do this when i hear her stuffed up as it could possibly prevent her from having a ear ache (usually with a cold for the baby = ear infection) So needless to say the only way she could really breath and sleep was if she was more upright. So, I slept on the couch with her from around 11:00pm until 1:30am when I woke up. I put her in the crib, and then she slept until around 3:00am, and then I had her in the spare bed with me and slept until 7:00am. Shes currently having her nap and I have snuck downstairs to relax, and post on the blog and perhaps get in a few replies in my inbox.

I had taken my eldest and her friend to their swimming lessons, and she was "whiny" it really drives me crazy and I have told her and asked her to use her "regular" voice. She seems to have mini meltdowns with the "silliest" things. Like today, when they were done showering, I accidentally gave her friend the towel she used out of the pool. They are pretty much the same, but this set her off, and was being difficult. I guess this is typical 5 turning 6 year old behaviour, but sometimes I don't deal well with it and need to learn different tactics. (does anyone know any books or sites that might help?)

So that's how today has been so far. I have TONS of laundry to do, a trailer to clean up and here I am with my butt parked at the computer. Probably a good thing as I find it relaxing. Did you know that the best way to get your mood to perk up when your having "one of those days"? Well talking about your day or "venting" is the first thing you should do. It allows you to burn the negative energy your feeling out and feel better. Second, how about dancing? As ELLEN and put it, have you ever seen a person dancing and being mad at the same time? What about watching something that you know makes you laugh? Or even taking a moment to yourself to just breathe and be able to put things into better perspective?

Okay, I have gotten TONS of Easter Egg Specials, so as mentioned, please be patient. I will respond to EVERYONE that has the right subject line as well as the right day. It might take me a bit to answer (a few days possibly) but I will!

I also have taken my site down temporarily. I am backed up with requests (up to a 3 week wait with how many requests I have gotten) so to make sure that the timeline comes down and me not getting frazzled and my customers not getting upset, I have suspended the site for one week. This will allow me to get the readings hopefully done faster as I wont be spending as much time scheduling.

For those of you who are just tuning into this blog, perhaps you should know.... I do my readings at night. People often wonder why, if its easier to connect with my guides or somehow different, but the real reason is, there is no 5 year old talking, no 10 month old baby hanging off my leg wanting to be picked up and then hitting the keys....etc There are no distractions! I am usually (9 out of 10 times) online after my daughters are in bed. Usually around 8:30-9pm. Its then that I check my emails and do some replies. 9pm Is when I start doing the readings, this can take up to two hours to complete. I then still try and fit in some replies to people who have asked questions about their readings, and also schedule the readings out from the payments that have come in. I usually try and goto bed around 11pm.

When my youngest is a bit older and weaned, I will start putting her in daycare of leaving her with grandma for the day here and there and allowing me to get a bit more organized and completing my readings faster, thus hopefully leaving no one waiting at all! That's my goal, to be able to complete the reading in less than one week, or even the say day! September my eldest goes into grade one, so this will be easier to as taking her back and forth to kindergarten is a bit more time consuming (they only have school for like 2.5 hours!)

Anyways, I hope you all had a great Easter weekend (or just a great weekend for those of you who do not celebrate) I'll end this blog post now before it becomes ten pages long! lol

What a horrible week it has been!

First, sick on monday with what I thought was the flu, hot, cold flashes and sore throat. Sore throat got worse to the point I had to go and get antibiotics... fast forward to last night. I got sick..... I ended up puking around 10:30pm at night. I was actually kinda mad at the dr and was going to call him this morning as one of the side effects of the antibiotic is vomiting, so I wanted something else. Well, turns out its WORSE than just the medicine. Yep, you guessed it, after BABY started puking a half hour after me, it was confirmed. We have the flu....again.

So far this morning neither one of us got sick, but did all last night. So tonight I am keeping fingers crossed and back to normal. I just want this week to be over!

On a good note, the antibiotic must be working, my sore throat is not as sore!

EDITED
I am back to thinking medication. Just got "sick" again tonight, and so far no one else has, not even baby. This is just crazy! I am not going to take it anymore and tell the dr, to prescribe me something else!

Dont forget the blog contest below, I will announce the winner Sunday as usual:)

Can someone hide the food? lol

Okay, maybe not all of the food, but just the good tasting ones? I am trying to stick to my new years resolution on losing a bit of weight. So far, not have had any soda. "almost" did today when a friend came over for lunch as its "habit" but decided to not purchase it and left it at the store. HOWEVER I have been into the chocolate! I guess one step at a time.

I have had my mom's husband change over my payment page of my site, hopefully making it a bit more straight forward with what is needed. I have upped the price to 10.00 on the one prediction as originally mentioned. I am hoping to pick up a tarot deck that "speaks' to me, that will allow me to draw one card of "hope' or "inspiration" with the bypass prediction. Something that will provide direction in life, that will give answers that perhaps you did not know you were searching for, but your guides have been trying to tell you. I have an idea on a deck, and was looking on Ebay, but not found what I am looking for. I hear that there is a local book shop type store that sells these among other things and just hoping to one day stop in there and grab it.

I also would love to add a page onto my original site with testimonials from people who have had readings that would not mind sharing their experience. I am looking for "real honest feedback". Perhaps overall you thought the reading was great, but one or two things you did not connect with... or perhaps you enjoyed every minute of it.. or perhaps it has yet to come true, or everything already has.. I am looking for all kinds of feedback and will post a few on the site with permission. If you had a reading and you were not satisfied with it, then yes, I still want to hear from you. Perhaps my interpretation was a bit off, and can clear it up. I appreciate ALL feedback, good or bad as it does help me strengthen and fine tune my interpretation skills.
So, if you have some feedback/testimonial for me, please email me cheri22@gmail.com with FEEDBACK in the subject line so I can locate it and file it for posting. I will try and respond as well so you know that I have it and appreciate that you took the time to send it! If you can also post this request on the boards you frequent, I would appreciate. (I stay off all boards, and only visit today's parent)

Thanks again for all your help! Don't forget, the blog contest posted two posts down, still open until Sunday morning when I announce the winner!

A tornado hit my house!

okay not really, but if you were to peak in here, you would think that was exactly what happened! (those with remote viewing techniques, you might not want to use it to see my house, it might scare you! lol)

I am the type of person who loves to get all the Christmas decorations up around the first of December, and then believe it or not, its all down the 26th of December! I have already dismantled the tree, put away all the decorations and started to clean up the house. We have opened most of the presents the girls received, and put a few away for a "Rainy day" when they are bored. I have three bags of recycling from boxes to go out next week, and a few more things to clean up before the house starts to feel "normal" again. I really don't like messes, especially big ones! lol.

I guess that's my pet peeve. I don't mind little messes, where there are a few toys lying around, but I hate large ones, just gets me anxious I guess, and drives me crazy and I clean it right up. Don't ask me how many times I clean up after the kids!

My computer room is a mess, I can barely even get to my desk to work on the computer. Now normally I would have already had this all back in the closet where it belongs, but with having the baby, this is a bit more difficult. I am kinda limited to when shes napping, but then I would make too much noise.. catch my drift? So basically have to wait for hubby to be available!

We had a good Christmas, saw lots of family and already did lots of visiting. I think that is what I enjoy more is visiting with everyone. Its certainly not this snow we have been getting. I only remember one other time around 10 years ago when we got this much. Its been raining here today, but that means SLUSH everyone. My eldest does not mind as she would sit in it if she didn't think I would freak out! Shes just the type that can turn anything into fun. I have been told my hubby that tomorrow will snow again, which means I am house bound as the slushy snow will turn into ice and be even harder to drive in.

Anyways, I am back online, will have the contests running again starting next week for the reading giveaways. You still have a few days left if anyone is interested in the December special. (if you want to know more about the monthly specials, check the lower right hand side of this blog under "labels" although post is not listed as "December special" it will contain the information about it.

Okay! Time for bed!

TThanks for answering the poll

I believe I will stick with 10,15,25 as per the poll, but also offer reiki and or tarot readings as an "add on" for those of you who want it.

The number one answer had 10,15,25 but to include reiki and or tarot readings included in that price, but since having only 10,15,25 with nothing added is a close second, I figure it would be easier to just have those as the base prices, and then offering an add on for those of you who want to take advantage of further offers. This is not going to happen until sometime in Jan, and if you look at my prices already, you will see that the only thing changing would be the 8.00 price to 10.00 and the other two will remain the same.

This weekend is going to be busy! Its my nephews first birthday party on Sunday! Hes  just started walking:) My sister is currently pregnant again and due the day before my baby was born! Came as kinda of a surprise to her. I am not sure if anyone remembers her storey, I posted about it before where they were told that they HAD to go through IVF to be able to conceive as her husbands reversal vasectomy showed the sperm as pretty much being 0%. The month they were to start IVF they found out they were pregnant with her son. Well, hes not even a year old, she missed/screwed up with some of her birth control pills and what do you know! Shes pregnant again! How surprising and how wonderful. Going from needing IVF according to the dr as they figure it would be "impossible" to conceive naturally, to having TWO babies. So don't give up hope guys! It can happen when you least expect it!

Don't forget to participate in the blog contest below! I will announce the winner tomorrow morning to give everyone enough time to participate!

Have a good weekend!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Yesterday was so busy with the free offer for October 23rd! I still have quite a few to answer from yesterday so if you have not gotten a response from me, don't panic! As long as your email was dated October 23rd and you have OCTOBER SPECIAL in your subject line I will respond! I believe that overall there was about 80-100 requests! I am sure I can go back and count them all, but it was alot! I am about halfway done and will have the rest completed for today.

I am a bit under the weather. With my lack of sleep (due to baby) I think I have a cold! My nose is slightly stuffy, and just feeling a bit blah. Slight headache that I am hoping just disappears!

Baby has not been sleeping well lately either. Shes now 5 months old (well just over anyways!) and I think shes teething as mentioned below. So with her lack of sleep and now mine, its starting to catch up on me! Baby has a fever so today I gave her some Tylenol in the hopes to bring it down which it has. Anyone have any natural ways to bring it down without having to resort to infant Tylenol?

My eldest is feeling a bit warm too, so hoping she does not have a bug. This weekend is going to be BUSY! Shes got soccer, a birthday party and a Halloween party to attend to so we are going to be run off our feet!

And to make matters "worse" for me, it appears that my af has finally returned after been gone for about 17 months (including the pregnancy time and having baby) So call me "naive" but I was under the impression that as long as I was breastfeeding, that most times you do not get your af? My friend said its not the case, as apparently for me, but wonder where I heard that? I k now too much information but it seems to be extremely heavy and not like "normal" so wondering if since this is the first one since I had her, that is the reason? Does anyone have multiple children and can relate? Or is it something I should be watching?

So I have not decided yet what I am going to do with the November special, but have a few things in mind:) If you have any suggestions on something you would love to see happen, feel free to email me with your ideas, (put in subject line BLOG POST) or leave a comment in the comments section of this blog post!

And with that, signing off, apparently the 45 min nap the baby took was enough to recharge her batteries! lol

A fun little offer!

A client of mine is starting to dabble in tarot readings and would like to offer 5 people the chance to have them be her guinea pigs! lol. Shes just practicing, looking for people who have questions. All she asks in returns is your HONEST feedback. If you liked it, or didn't, what you thought was accurate or what you thought was not.

She did one for me, and was quite good, out of the 5 questions I asked her, only one of them I was curious about and had to ask to further explain it. The rest of it was quite accurate! (even picking up that my wrist is sore, and linked it to the baby! lol) I have not told ANYONE that my wrist is sore, and its from carrying the baby around in her car seat too much with my left hand!

So, for you to get this opportunity to be the guinea pig. I am allowing the first 5 people who comment to this post this opportunity. Just post your login name and then email me at cheri22@gmail.com with BLOG POST in the subject line, and include your login name in the email so I can match you to one of the 5 people. This client would prefer her email and info to not be passed around as right now shes learning and increasing her own abilities. You are allowed to ask 2-3 questions and shes working with life questions as this point.

Did you not all get the invitation???

Apparently the baby decided to have a party in her crib from 4:30am till 5:30am and I seemed to be the only guest! Last night was a long night for me. I tried to go to bed around 11pm, but could not fall asleep. Baby woke up around 12am, I fed her and she went back to sleep. She woke up again around 2:30 and again I think I fed her, but moved her into the spare bed in her room with me as I knew right then I was in for a long night. It was 4:30am though when she got up, and started her little party. I do have to say that I was probably the "worse" guest as I just kinda laid on the bed with my eyes closed as she partied it up. She tried to get me into the mood of partying with grabbing my nose, making me open my eyes and then laughing and cooing at me. I managed to move her to her crib where she could just roll around and have a good time until she was ready to go to sleep. It was 5:30am when I took her out of her crib and back into bed with me. Felt like 5 minutes when she was up and raring to go yet again. After trying to convince her it was time to sleep, thinking no time had passed, I looked at the clock to see 7:30am. Her morning wake up time.

So having a bit of a slow day today and will have to take my time. I am not feeling as tired as I thought I would, but I am sure it will catch up with me as the day progresses.

Halloween is fast approaching, and planning on taking my eldest out (Shes 5) and she wants to be Hannah Montana. Right now, she wants to be everyone except herself and even tries to convince me to call her by another name or allow her to wear her Hannah Montana wig out lol. Shes got a great imagination!

I will be trying to get everything together tonight for tomorrows reincarnation post. Should be interesting! Hopefully I have enough room for everything or might have to break it up into sections:)

Hope you all have a good day!

I want to touch base about Ruby

I know that quite a few of you have requested readings from Ruby ( I dont have a problem with everyone asking different psychics for what they see lol) and I have gotten a few emails right now in regards to why shes taking so long or if I know what is going on. So I would like to use this post to perhaps clear the air and in regards to my connection with Ruby so that everyone is aware.

Ruby originally contacted me through email, wanting me to put her link to her site from mine. I do not just link people without first checking them out. Its also my reputation and would hate to refer my clients to someone who is not doing this for the clients best interests. So I googled her name and located sites where "someone" was telling people about this new wonderful psychic and they should try them out, and linking Rubys new site. I immediately felt suspicious because the writing/text was obviously copied/pasted and even though the login names were different it was obvious it was the same person. I questioned Ruby who denied it was her (later admitted it was and apologized saying she made a mistake). I decided to give her a chance (everyone makes mistakes) and asked her to read for me. There was information she put in there that was not told about myself, and I dont think that I had this information posted on the Internet (in regards to my mom having depression and me taking on more grown up responsibilities when it came to looking out for my sister). So I decided to give her a chance. I posted her as the secret psychic and gave out her readings.

Now after that was done, I was to link her on the blog, and I did so. She wanted me to put her on the main site (cheri22.com) and I told her that at this point something did not feel right, that I still would rather wait and see. She even offered to pay me to put her link on my main blog, which I did not feel right about and declined. (I had been completely honest with her the entire time about my feelings towards her). I also found out, that when I requested on my blog that people provide me feedback about her readings, that she was specifically sending people to my blog to reply, and promising them a free question for positive feedback :( This goes against what I feel. People should leave positive feedback because they enjoyed the reading, not because they are promised something for free in return.

I then got an email from her asking to do a reading for her with an issue she was having in trade she would do one for a friend of mine. I have already told her I feel her to be "blocked" (Some people do this naturally, or on purpose depending on their issues) So I did what I could for her. She had taken nearly a week when I asked my friend how her reading went. She said that she never got it. I emailed Ruby to ask, and she said that she was out of town and hadn't gotten to it (or perhaps her email wasn't up? I dont remember for certain) anyways, she said that she would get her reading done for monday, when she told my friend Saturday. She told my friend the delay was because she was sick...

This is when I deleted her from my blog. I believe that when your doing readings for people, you need to be honest, not just with your readings, but within yourself and your connection to people. I am not saying anything against Ruby in regards to her readings, as I do have positive feedback from people (who were not "traded" for their positive feedback) but actually did enjoy their reading from her, and I dont dispute that she has a gift as I do believe she does. I just believe that she is handling things a bit wrong, and its going to come and bite her in the butt.

Now I have been told that people have paid over a month or just under and yet to hear back from Ruby. I do not think that Ruby is out to scam anyone and take your money without providing you with your reading...I just believe shes obviously very behind in her work (She does do through email and various online sites like kasamba and such) She just needs to get organized so that people have a better understanding on when their prediction comes around. Now because I know that Ruby is doing this for the money (She has told numerous people this) should you not have received your reading, perhaps requesting a refund if not responded from within a certain time frame, might get her to put yours through:)

So other than what is mentioned above, I do NOT have any connection to Ruby whatsoever. We do not talk or correspond in any fashion and she is no longer referenced on my blog due to my feelings and interactions with her. I am sure that she is a nice person, but at this time, I feel that this is what I must do.

If you have any questions or comments about this blog post, feel free to either add to the comments section or email me cheri22@gmail.com

This post is not to bad mouth Ruby, as mentioned I know she has a gift, I dont think that shes out to scam anyone...etc, I just wanted to clear the air in regards to how we "were" connected and that we are not at this point.

Here is the winner!

I am sorry for the delay in posting this, it has been a busy weekend. My daughter had her first game of soccer yesterday, and my husband was kind enough to invite his friend, and their family over, so that he could take his friend fishing and lucky me could "entertain" lol. They did not leave until 8:30pm last night, so from 10am, till then.. lets just say that it makes for a long day. (dont get me wrong, I like to visit, but also like my time to do the things I need to do) This is also the second Saturday in a row that this happened (same family too) and now there are other issues that have arisen, and not sure what to do.

First, lets get to the winner of the contest. This has been a bit of a "weird" one and let me explain lol. When I first posted this post, the trampoline was to the RIGHT more in the yard. This is because its where the grass is (the other side has a bit of gravel) and so everyone who posted to the right was in fact correct....HOWEVER, later that evening, my husband MOVED the trampoline to the left of the yard onto the gravel so I could cut the grass (I love to mow the lawn! lol)..... So in fact BOTH left and right were correct depending on the time of day.

So to make it fair, I actually put EVERYONES name into the draw. I drew lucky number 4!! That would be KRISTA! congrats to you on winning this weeks challenge. You just need to contact brooke777 to claim your prize. (please note, give her a few days as I believe shes currently away from the computer)

Its not as easy as it looks.....

Well, I went to the lab on Friday, ended up having to take baby as she was awake, and wouldn't leave her with dh because I am breastfeeding so he would have nothing to feed her should she decide she was hungry. I waited 30 minutes at the lab for them to even see me (seems like alot of people there) and she asked if I had fasted for 4 hours. Ummm.. nope. At my dr appt on thursday when he told me to get the test done, I asked him if I needed to do anything like not eat or drink before hand and he told me NOPE! So needless to say they turned me away and told me to come back on Saturday ( I couldn't return later friday) So I get there right after I put baby down for a nap, I wait 10 minutes this time, let her know I haven't eaten yet and starving and she tells me that they can't do the test as they have already used up all their breath kits that morning!!!! Can you tell I was mad? She could lol. She explained that there was alot of people in that morning for the same thing and that they could not do it for me too and I would have to come back another day. She even had someone else come and explain that all I needed to do was fast for 4 hours and could come back another day. I explained I was breastfeeding, that I needed to eat, and the only time I could really do it was early in the morning. I left the lab really upset.

I now can not go until TUESDAY because they are closed on sunday and monday out here is a holiday. So today is like day 12 or such of having this "issue" and it hurts and seems to be getting worse. I actually went to the pharmacy to see if I could get anything at all that would be okay while breastfeeding. He gave me two things which are supposed to be safe while pregnant. They helped a bit, but also, the baby seemed to be burping and puking alot more (spitting up!) and I dont think that its good for her and wont take it anymore even if it did provide slight relief. So still have to go back on tuesday morning, as well as take my daughter to her first day of school! ITs going to be a busy morning. So wish me luck to hang in there and put up with this ache/pain for a bit longer, and hopefully its easier to solve than it has been to get the test!

For the ask jeni questions below, I have let her know that they are there, she will make her way to the blog and will respond right in the comments section for you. For those who emailed, I have already forwarded her the emails as well:)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

I am so excited and I just can't hide it.....

Well, got some exciting news...well for me anyways! After pestering my friend yet again for her amazing storey of her ups and downs with ttc (you will all love to hear her storey!) she told me that she was getting some software that you can speak and it types what you say.... can you believe that! I guess she has hurt her thumb and its hard for her to type, so she is waiting for the software to be up and running and then will send her storey along for everyone here.

Now here is the exciting part!! I spend literally, anywhere from 3-5 hours TYPING out the predictions, doing my replies, scheduling....etc... see where I am going here!!!! I just ordered this software yesterday and should be arriving tuesday. Now i have to get my sound card working first apparently, and my mom's husband is just the computer whiz to hopefully help me out!

I talked to my mom ages ago telling her how I wished there was a program out there that could do something like that, and most have not been thinking, as I never looked into it. I found out that people speak about 120 words per minute and the average person typing about 40 words per minute. Me, I am closer to 60 words per minute, but with spelling mistakes of course. I guess this program will be able to fix that for me too as it knows how to spell the words! lol.

So, by using this program to help type out my predictions, not only will this go faster for me, save my wrists and hands (they do get sore) but I can include alot more information as I can certainly talk faster than I speak!

So just keep an eye open, I will announce this on the blog when its up and running!

"cluck cluck cluck" this is me running around like a chicken with my head cut off! lol

(Edited by me, as obviously I dont know what sound a chicken makes and had "buck" instead of "cluck"!! LOL)

Yesterday was one of my busiest days. I had a birthday party to take my eldest too (which means little one has to come as shes still being breastfed). This party was a 45 min drive, after the party I was supposed to attend a "family" function as well about 30 min from the party. Now with this also being my dad's birthday and I tend to screw it up, I wanted this year to make sure to do it right. There was a time I did not get to call my dad on his birthday (I was a friends house who moved to "no man's land" and their phone was not installed) and then last year I called my dad the day before his birthday thinking that it was the day (had my days all backwards) So this year I called him first thing in the morning before heading out so I would not have a chance to forget! I call him and this is how it goes.

ME: Happy birthday dad!!
DAD: Its not my birthday....
ME: Yes it is! Quite screwing with me
DAD: I am serious today is not my birthday its tomorrow
ME: Yea right, your just messing with me. Today is Sunday Dad, the 17th...
DAD: Yes I know, my birthday is the 18th!!!!

Oh my goodness, I had done it again! I have NO IDEA how the heck I thought his birthday was the 17th when its been the 18th for the last 59 years! lol. Not sure what I was thinking but we both had a good laugh.

On my way to the birthday party, we have to drive on the freeway, and the baby starts to cry (did I mention shes not fond of the car?) And I have to pull over not even 5 minutes from the house to feed her as apparently shes decided its time to get fed:)

We get to party, go inside, not even there for like 10 minutes, and again shes upset, I go out to the parking lot and into the car, and I feed her again. (we are at a children's party place - chuckie cheese - and I am not good with feeding in public places! long storey! lol) We are there at the party and have to race out at 1:15 to make the family bbq that is supposed to be over at 3. We get there about 1:45, and everyone waits like 10 minutes and they start to leave??? Next thing I know, 10-15 minutes later, the "beautiful" sunny day turns into showers, thunder and lightening!

Now add this to the fact that baby I believe is teething (is this possible even at 3 months old - today) Shes shoving her hands in like crazy on her gums and pulling and getting upset. Shes had two times where she felt warm to the touch. I dont remember my eldest doing this at this age.

This Thursday will be giving away a reading again for Brooke777! As always if you have a storey to share that is "encouraging" something you have overcome you would like to share, perhaps it will give insight to someone facing similar situations.... email cheri22@gmail.com and in the subject line, put "blog post" and I will trade you a prediction bypass question for anything that is posted.

Trying to recoup and relax from my otherwise busy day yesterday, and staying inside as its raining:) Hope you all have a relaxing day as well

Did you miss me? lol

I am back online and ready to go! I have been home since Wednesday night, and you know what the first thing I did? I came online and checked emails, tried to get some of the replies answered and cleaned up, and yesterday was back up and answering emails and doing predictions. Can you tell that I missed doing this! lol. We went to my Uncle's cabin for 5 days with friends and family. Its a 5 hour drive from my house. Can you imagine doing that with a almost 3 month old baby who really does not like the car? lol. The way up there was good, we only pulled over one time to feed her, and she was happy/content. The way home, that was another storey! I did not leave the cabin until 10:30am, where as when we left home it was 7:30am. Big difference! I must have stopped 3-4 times on the way home to cuddle/feed her, and then put her in the car seat again and drive as fast (yet of course safe) as I could before she "demanded" to be let out again! So I know that for next time, leave early when shes her "sleepiest" and not as upset about being in the car. (she does not like to get hot, and I believe the car seat makes her hot)

While up at the cabin I learned the hard way that chipmunks like to take apart towels and blankets. Imagine my surprise when my MIL (yep, she came ack!) came in and told me that the blanket had a strip being torn out of it along with one of my uncles towels! Apparently they like to make their nest a bit more comfy. I know sounds stupid, but I really did not have any clue, I guess I just figured that they would be happy with the stuff they find in the forest for their nests! Apparently there are also alot of bears up in the area. Did I mention that I am afraid of bears! lol. I know, again, silly as they are more afraid of us as well and if you make alot of noise they tend to avoid you. You just never know though when a hungry bear just doesn't care how noisy you are! My husband had seen one a few cabins down from where we were staying, and my MIL and a friend actually were out on the lake and seen one swim right across from them. That would have freaked me out! Could you imagine, even swimming in the lake, and then seeing a bear go by you? Oh my goodness!
My daughter for the first time managed to catch a few fish. Her daddy took her out on the lake in the paddle boat, and they were gone for 30 minutes and she came back with two fish and was the proudest ever as she actually caught them both by herself and no help from him.

As a reminder to those of you who might have missed the post, AUGUST special is - If you buy the prediction bypass (8.00) and mention "Mr. Potato Head" in either your message to seller spot or in a separate email, you will get a free question answered. So that's basically 2 questions answered for the price of one. You can either use if to answer a life question or another child here or yet to come, its up to you! This is not announced on my site, so you would have to read the blog to be aware of this "special". I don't mind if someone posts is somewhere so that others might take advantage of this special, but this is the only way to find out:)
