Its a crazy weather day today. I actually woke up this morning, walked out of my room and out of the corner or my left eye saw snow! it was just like in the movies, and I completely did a double take! I am not a huge fan of snow myself. I would be much happier if it either stayed up on the mountains, or if we had heated streets of some sort, and the snow just stayed only on the grass and trees! Currently looking out my window and the wind has picked up a bit and there is still snow coming down. People where I live are not the best at driving in the snow, which I guess I have to include myself. Not a huge fan of driving in that stuff! Took my daughter to daycare today, and it was snowing bigger flakes then, went to turn left onto the street and my car continued forward! Thank goodness that no one was in the oncoming lane or I WOULD have crashed into them!
Today, I have been trying to get an appt with a new DR in town. I have noticed a "lump" of some sort on the right underside of my chin. Between I guess my neck/chin area. The dr who saw me last Wednesday told me if it was still here by Friday (the 10th) to come back and see him and he would have blood tests done. At this point he figures its a cyst, but with Thyroid cancer being discovered in my 32 year old cousin a few months ago, we are not just going to write it off as a cyst. As of today, its still there. Am I worried? I guess part of me thinks "what if"...but I do believe in everything happens for a reason, and that if it turns out to be cancer, that I will survive and fight.
As most people, I can't read myself, so would not be able to figure out if its cancer by using my psychic abilities, so will have to rely on the dr for that. I have tried calling, and there never seems to be an answer, only an answering machine that doesn't take messages! Go figure! I know when I met him at the clinic he told me that he would have to shut his practice down in March if not enough patients, but I think I will be telling him about his wonderful secretary who never seems to answer the phone! Perhaps shes part of the issue!
Anyways, wish me luck and send me vibes that its just a 'cyst' rather than anything serious!
