where or where did my 'Aunt flo go"?

I am sure not something everyone wants to read, but I was expecting a visit around March 20th to the 24th. Today is March 29th and no sign of her. I have taken TWO Pregnancy tests that should be able to detect a hormone up to 4 days early, but they are both negative. I have never missed a period up to this point except when I was pregnant with my daughter.
At first was a bit freaked out, as timing is not perfect for a pregnancy, but after it been missing for this long, part of me has started to get excited about the possibility. Part of me would find a way to make it work to have a baby, the other part would be slightly relieved if my period shows up. I just dont like this inbetween where there are no answers!

Time to go ATVing again

Well, my dear husband called me at work today, because of it being a beautiful day, wanted to know if we should take the ATV out again, as I have only had one chance to ride it. I did find it fun, and really enjoyed it, but I really only bought the thing so that we could do this as a family. My husband has a dirt bike and loves to go camping, and they are always off dirt biking and leaving me and our daughter at the campsite doing nothing. So if I had my own ATV that my daughter and I could ride together, it would be more fun to go camping with everyone.
Last night, my husband asked if I was "itching" to go for a ride, and honestly at this point, doesn't matter to me if I do or don't ride it. It was fun yes, but I am certainly no die hard atv fan!
Told our daughter this morning that we might go out with the atv and she said that she might or might not go on it today. Shes almost 4, but still hasn't decided if she likes it or not! So, I guess we will see if my husband has loaded it into his truck when I get home.

The latest Craze - "Clear Stamps" by Studio G!

I have been hearing about these new clear acrylic stamp sets being sold at Michaels for only 1.50 Canadian and how hard it is to get your hands on them. My friend told me of when they would be at our local Michaels, and was told it was Sunday in the morning, after a class had been done. I happened to be near the Michaels today as I was in town for an anniversary party, and wandered into Michaels. Took me awhile to actually locate the person who knew what I was talking about! After they tried to tell me that there was a class on Sunday, and me insisting that the class was today, they realized that the original class had been canceled due to lack of interest. After calling the teacher of the class, she said it was okay to release the box of them to me, and let me pick what I wanted! So needing to gather enough for me and three ladies, I took about 80% of what was in the box, perhaps leaving only 15-20left for anyone else! 80.00 it came to, but managed to get a good variety! It was awesome that they let me look through them even before they were on the shelf! Looks like it sometimes pays to go in early and just see what you can find!!

Going to the movies!

Saw the movie Premonition with a friend on Tuesday night. We had orignally planned on seeing Wild Hogs, but by the time we had gotten there, it was already sold out! I guess thats what we get for arriving late, when its spring break and we live in a small town!
I had hesitated about seeing it, after reading quite a few bad reviews, and was actually presently surprised about it. I really enjoyed the movie. The ending was a bit confusing for me, and at times hard to follow the movie, but once the end came, and my friend explained the part of the puzzle I had not clued into, the movie completely made sense! Its one of those movies you go back over and over in your mind even when its done, and put even more of the puzzle together. A good movie to see especially on cheap tuesday!

New toy for the family!

Well we just bought a new ATV. Its a 110c so not really big or powerful, but big enough that myself and my daughter can ride it. We took it out this weekend, and it was raining, but was not going to let that stop me from trying it out! Got the helmet strapped on, my daughter refused to come on, and so I took off by myself, the first time ever being on one of these things by myself! The rocks were really bumpy and I was laughing like crazy, and managed to get it into second gear. I saw a bit of a sand bar and figured that it would be easier to ride on the sand and headed for it. As I am in second gear, the dirt is flying up around me on all sides, which of course is making me laugh even harder, as I know that its just going to cake me in mud, and I keep going. I come up to this large puddle, and the ground is a bit slanted, I ended up going RIGHT INTO IT! I paniced of course, let go of the gas, and basically parked myself right into the middle of the puddle! I couldn't believe it! I turned to the right and called over the part where my husband and my daughter are standing with the rest of the people we were with, and told him to come and help me. At first not wanting to get off the ATV cause I didn't want to get soaked, but knowing that he is certianly not going to come into the puddle to get me out! I tried to start it.. nope.. wont start, so left with no option, I jump off the ATV and start pulling the ATV out. After my husband arrives, I learn that the ATV was no in neutral and its the only reason why I could not start it in the puddle! ARG! Live and learn I guess! It was fun though, even if I was soaked to the bone!
