This is no joke, for the past little while, I have been getting "visions" of me driving into someone. Almost like a head on collision. I can see myself driving right into this person and being scared crap less! Now I have had "visions" like this before, and each time I have actually gotten into an accident within three days and always very similar to how as the vision has played out. Not previously when this had happened, I really had not clued in to this being a premonition but rather just my imagination so what I had ruled it to be. So now, within the last year and a half I have come to trust or relay on this information. When I "see" something like this, it actually puts me more on guard, I pay closer attention to who is around me, what is happening, and then usually during the day while driving around, I actually see someone being careless and have a close call. Not nearly as close as some people would think, but very avoidable and I feel good about it.
Well as mentioned I have been feeling this way for a bit now, seeing myself driving into someone, and I have been paying close attention. Tuesday I met up with my friend at a local consignment store (I drop off my baby clothes there and pick up bigger sizes for baby! lol) and after we were done I headed home. The roads were slippery as it was raining (did I mention I live near a rain forest and it actually rains here ALOT? lol) Anyways, there was a woman in a dark car, that just drove out from a parking lot, right in front of me like she did not even see me. I actually braked so hard, I locked the brakes and started to slide slightly. At the same time muttering some nice choice words that I don't care to repeat here! ( I probably should have rethought what I was saying as my 5 year old and my baby where with me!) I actually slid a bit as if in slow motion and managed to turn the wheel just slightly to the right just narrowly missing her. She kept going as if it was nothing and like she didn't almost get smashed! Gosh was I mad! Especially with me girls in the car!

My husband and I were in a car accident over a year ago and our car was totalled...I had two very distinct feelings that night about getting in an accident and I let them go (I really wish that I hadn't). My gut had told me that I shouldn't drive, so as I was getting into the drivers seat that night I quickly changed my mind and handed my keys to my husband (I know now that if I had been the one that was driving, I probably wouldn't have gotten back in the drivers seat). Also, when we got up to the intersection before our accident I felt like we should go straight instead of turning left (we have several ways that we can go home...and I didn't feel right about going that way). My husband told me that it was fine and he turned left- not more than 5 seconds later a car turned into a parking lot in front of us while we were going 60- the car was a write off and from this day I don't ever, ever ignore my intuition!

My 10 yr old son has premonitions frequently. His school has a fossil dig.He saw himself going to the fossil dig by himself and finding the largest shark tooth he'd ever found. Later that day he had a headache and the teacher told him to sit out and play in the fossil dig instead of playing kick ball. What he saw early happened just as he had seen in the same area he had saw earlier he found the humongous sharks tooth.He also see's people tell him things before they actually tell him.
I had a freaky close call when my first born was only a couple of weeks old. I was driving a white Ford probe and traveling around 50 mph on a straight road named White Oak. I topped the hill heading back towards my house and as I got to the top directly in front of me was a white van in my lane going very fast and as far as I knew we colided and I lost all feeling, and emotion. I come to a complete stop thinking that we're dead I look in my rear view mirror and the van is behind me and still traveling down the road. We were not harmed. Melissa
I had some visions of being in a car accident for a couple of weeks. Each time I had the vision I was in a different location, but when I was hit it was in the side of my car. About 2 weeks later I finally did end up being in that car accident, I was hit in the drivers side of the car. It wasn't serious, but I was like ehh why now. I don't think there was anything I could have done to avoid it, probably driven slower, but I think I was supposed to be in that accident.
I don't get visions of not to do something I usually just get feelings. There have been countless times that I would be driving down the road and something would tell me to look a certain way and someone would be cutting me off or running a red light. My son was driving one night and we were both watching the road and out of no where a man appeared in the middle of the road. We literally had to slam on our breaks in order not to hit him. This man walked across the street like nothing. There were three sets of eyes on the road and not one of us seen him until it was almost too late. My son has always been quite a bit arigant about things and I can tell you after this incident his attitude has changed immensly. I have never seen him so shaken and realized that a split second could change your life forever. I live my life with the understanding that everything happens for a reason.
I actually don't get premonitions, especially of important things.
But twice in my life I have dreamed about completely mundane things that came true. It is like Deja Vu except I had already told people about these dreams. It was really strange.
Few years back when i was introuced to a girl by my friend something was pushing me down saying keep a distance from that girl... but i din mind that ...we became friends after few months i felt terribly for the mistake of not listening to my inner words for which i regret even now.....

i dont get premonitions about things to avoid, but i do know when my mum is going to phone. We often ring at the same time too and find each other engaged.
Its funny we seem to think of each other at the same time!

I have had a few. One was when i was 16 and was driving back to town at night from the local lake. At the turnoff we saw some friends who were heading towards the lake and my friends decided to go back out there. I had the strongest feeling of being sick to my stomach and started getting shaky and a voice was telling me, don't do it. I ignored it and 5 mins later we had a massive accident. We should have died but someone saved us. The car was as flat as a pancake and the cops have no idea how I survived as my seat was destroyed.
After that I had another incident when I told my friend's boyfriend to pull the car over immediately. Thankfully he did and 10 seconds later there was a car accident and if we hadn't stopped we would have been right in the middle. My friend's boyfriend was so shaken up he started abusing me and called me a freak!
I always speak up now, though I do get called a freak a lot.
I unfortunatly had to learn this leason the hard way.
About 12 years ago on Presidents day to be exact. My daughters and I set out to go to a livestock auction 40 miles away. It had snowed the night before and I had a voice in my head telling me to stay home. At the time I drove a Ford Ranger Pick-up it really needed new tires as they were almost bald.
My daughters and I set off I got to my turn and the voice in my head was being really persistant about telling me to turn around and go home. I pulled off the road on several occasions and talked my self back into continuing. The road conditions were not good it was icy and slushy. The further I went the louder the voice became until it was like screaming in my head. Unfortunatly at that time it was to late to do anything, as I had started fish tailing. Both my daughters were buckled into the front seat together and I told them to hang on. I had to make a choice of heading towards the ditch or hitting the truck comming the other direction head on. I took the ditch and flipped the truck end over end. When it came to a stop my side of the truck was smashed in and on my daughters side was untouched, which makes no sence if you look at the ditch, they were on the higher side so in all reality it was there side that should have been smashed and not mine. We walked away that day and I learned a very valuble lesson to listen to that voice in my head they really do know what they are talking about.
I had anoter experience at work, I was the only one in the office (I work government) and 2 men came into the office one looked REALLY strange in the way he was dressed and the other looked normal. It was the normal looking one that made that voice in my head tell me to excuse myself from the front and get someone from another office over there (our office is a seperate building). This time the voice in my head said it was panic mode and I needed to act quickly. So I shut the doors between the front office and the back and started calling every office that I could think of that had a man in it. I finally got 2 different people to come over and stand behind me as I took care of the 2 guys business. To this day when I think of that man I get a sick feeling in my stomach.

Hi Cheri! I'm excited about this post because I have in fact had an experience like this.
A long time ago.. I was probably about 17 or 18.. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend at the time. He had already got up and gone to work.. In those days I liked to sleep in (imagine that HA)
I was in a half awake but not ready to get up state.. I was laying there eyes closed.. when I heard a whisper.. it was a woman I heard her say turn off the heater. I layed there thinking what the heck? and I heard it again.. Turn off the heat.. I got up and turned it off. as I went around the corner.. I thought I smelled gas.
I called the gas company and they came out to check it. I smoked and lit candles all the time.. but I waited for them to come. I just had a weird feeling about it. Finally they came... and I did infact have a gas leak.
I remember calling my now passed on grandmother and told her about it. She was very religious and told me.. she had had those experiences too and said that I always must listen to them. From this day on.. when I hear that voice.. although its rare.. I listen to it and do as I am told. She told me it was my angel looking out for me.

Ihave a very scary story. 10years ago my brother and 2 friends decided to play a game and the place we choose was the cementary it was the game where we call it jumanjee it was where we call the death person just for fun....well we were kids just trying to have some fun and the time we choose was 10pm....i was so scared to even be in that kind of place and sundenly one of my friend said please come out and it started raining sundenly and we just all god scared and picked our stuff and started running to the car. Once we got to the car we drove off so crazy out of that place and we were so scared and said God please forgive us we wont do it again and keep driving away from the place and we took a wrong turn and in the rain we could not see anything infront of us..not sure what happend but for a second i just frooze driving and my car stopped it and couldnt move foward and we came out and saw that if the car kept going we would all have died cause there was cliff the other end....i think our angel save us that day because once we saw what it was and our started working and we made our U turn.
Up to this day we still think that someone save us from going down. we never set foot again and did something like that ever again ..
