So tell me a bit about yourself... and win a reading!

I think that we all have "quirky" habits, things we like to do that we feel that we "have" to.. habits I guess you can say. I want you to post your funny things.. like perhaps you have to knock on wood every time you mention something bad to happen.. Or perhaps when you spill the salt shaker you throw salt over your shoulder...

For me, I am a compulsive door locker. I can't help it! I can be going into the house for about 5 minutes and I will still lock the door even though I just have to come right back in. It drives my husband crazy!

Okay, another funny thing about me. I ALWAYS have my keys in my jacket's right side pocket. My husband asks me for my keys and that is always where they will be. In the summer months obviously in my purse as I wont be wearing my jacket! Its a habit. If my keys are not in these two places, I know my husband has taken them and put them somewhere else. He NEVER leaves things in the same place twice and is always searching for his stuff!!!

okay, so tell me, what do you to that you just always do out of habit or even good luck! By posting in the comments section you will be entered to win a free reading with Brooke777. I will draw a random winner from the entries on Sunday to allow everyone enough time to answer.

LOL Where do I start? Let's see I always always always drive the exact same way to work and back (even though I don't have to). I am a compulsive door lock checker. I will check over and over again to make sure the doors are locked. I will NOT leave the house until the beds are made. No way no how can't do it. LOL I have tons more but I'll stop there.

I do the exact same thing with my keys. In the fall, winter, spring, they are in my coat pocket. During the summer they are in the front pocket of my purse. I also check twice on things like getting the refrigerator door shut, locking doors, turning off the stove or curling iron.

I check the stove constantly... I have a fear I left it on. I will be watching tv in the living room and look through the open window into the kitchen to make sure everything is on off. I do this at least 10-15 times a day. If I leave the house I check the stove 5 times before I walk out of the door. I also do this with my coffee pot. LOL

I'm also bad for going the same way when I go see my friend or my mom. The sad thing is I know so many different routes to take. My husband is like a walking map and he's shown me every possible way to get around where i live but yet I will still take the same way every time. If that road is blocked or there is road work i freak out. Yet I know that I can take another road to get were I need to. i hate when things change.

I always carry my purse on my right shoulder and no one can walk on my right side because that's where my purse is. My husband laughs as he sometimes gets caught on the right side and says "I know I know, I'll go on the left, the right is reserved for your purse". It's something I've done for as long as I can remember. I also have to sleep with one of my arms underneath two pillows-- if my arm isn't underneath two pillows I can't fall asleep.

I always say bless you when someone sneezes! And in where ever I am if someones tag is sticking out or they have a bit of fluff on them, I will ask if I can tuck it in/take it off of them! Its funny how we each have our quirks!

Hum, this really makes me think.. I guess my thing is I over plan the bills.. I will sit reorganizing the bills making sure everything is prefect. I also will check my online bank statement everyday even though I haven't spent anything in days, lol. I also wont let DH touch anything to do with the bills. DH laughs and says I would be a great book keeper/accountant for an office.. Other then that, hum... I guess it would have to be that I check Fertility Friend four or five times a day, knowing that nothing will change. Once FF gives me cross hairs I will stare at it for 15 or so minutes, then go back hours later to do the same thing >.< Not sure if that's a quirk, but it is a little odd lol.

When I say that a specific bad situation has never happened to me, I have to knock on wood afterwards.

Also, whenever I pump gas, I have to make sure it ends on a whole dollar (like $20.00 or $32.00, but not $32.01).

I have to buy the 2nd of everything, not the first. And I have to let tap water run for a few seconds before I use it, I rinse out cups before I use them no matter what. I lock the deadbolt and never even remember doing it.

I have a thing with digital clocks. If I look at it and it says 3:00PM for example I HAVE TO WATCH it until it turns to 3:01. If the time ends with :00 or :30 I'm stuck watching until it turns...lol

also I have to clean up as I'm cooking. It drives me crazy when my husband is preparing something and just leaves the mess for the end...I don't know why, but I just have to clean up as I finish each step, I think it started out as just being easier and over the years has turned into a compulsive habit...lol

Any time my husband and I run a yellow light when we are driving somewhere we kiss our fingers and then touch the visor. It's weird and we get a lot of questions about it but someone told us it's good luck so you don't get pulled over and we have been doing it ever since.

I am constantly picking up after my husband. I can't help but want to organize everything so when he needs to find something he always has to come to me and get directions to where it is.

When I go shopping for clothes for myself, I'll buy several of the same item in different colours. I'll do the same for shoes, my husband laughs because I have at least two of everything!

I balance my checkbook everyday online. If my checkbook is not balancing to the penny, I will go back and figure out my mistakes until it balances. I worked at a bank for seven years and became very anal about having a perfect checkbook balance!

I also have a routine of cleaning my house. I clean the exact same every single time. I start in my bathroom, go to the next bathroom, then to my bedroom, etc... And in each room I clean in the same order too! First I clean the shower, then I clean the toilet, then I wipe the mirrors off, etc...

When I'm in a bad mood, or I hear something that I don't like I put on chapstick. It makes me feel better. I have 3 on my desk at work, one in my pocketbook, sometimes I keep one in the car and I have them scattered all around my house.....lollol

I always check the door is closed when leaving to make sure it is locked. Even though it is locked I still check it twice. At times I even come back up the stairs to check and see if it locked. I also always need chapstick at night. Always no matter if I am travelling, on vacation or else.

I always make a wish when the clock says 1:11 or 2:22 or 3:33 etc. But for some reason 11:11 always means the most to me.
I also find that I always signal when I change lanes or turn. I even find myself signal when I turn into my drive way when no other cars on on the street. My husband thinks it is funny.
I also always have to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I hate going with out and always put a lot of thought into my meals. I enjoy shopping for food and planning my family's future meals.
One last thing that I recently noticed that I do is I have limp rists (if that makes sence). I was watching myself on a video and noticed that I let my hands hang or dangle. It is weird to see, but I guess that is what I do.
So that's me! :)

Here's but a few:

1. I have to check the door locks, light switches, stove knobs and fridge doors three times every single time I leave the house and before I go to bed.

2. When making lists or stuff I have do do it so its a multiple of the number three.

3. I must get out of bed on the same side I got into bed.
