Are you on the right path?

Well, its been since November since I have been sick, so I am thankful for that, but I am now starting to have a sore throat and feelings sore tired. My right side of my throat is so red and irritated. I have started drinking tea, pop, water, juice... anything to try and soothe it, to no avail. So crossing my fingers a good nights sleep will do its trick.

I have managed to respond to ALOT of free requests, so not as far behind as I used to be, so if your still waiting for your request to be done, it wont take as long now so thank you for your patience.

I wanted to talk about sometimes people feeling "lost" in life and wondering if they have lost the right path in life. I think that most people are just ready for change, and stuck in a rut and really have no idea of where to start to get their life moving forward again.

I think that this usually happens during our "mid life" and often leaves us feeling restless. Do you know where this comes from? Its called that we dont spend enough time focusing on our own lives, our own wants and our own needs, that we often loose ourself. Thus, feeling like we have lost our way and no longer on the right path.

So how do you fix this? By making time for yourself. By knowing that you are just as important as everyone else in your life and you DO matter. We often get so caught up in helping others, in managing our families and everyone in it and loose sight of our own goals. What would make you happy? What things do you enjoy? Do you have a hobby?

Another thing I wanted to touch base with, is have a few clients over the years that are not currently ttc but still wanting to get that information about "when". When I provide this information they are often then worried that they are "stopping" the baby or delaying it by not trying to concieve. Please note, that this is something that you can delay. Your life is not set in stone, nor is the lessons you need to learn in this life or with whom. You CAN change your life, you CAN change the path you take and how you get there. So rather than staying in the same job that you hate, or in a relationship with someone who does not make you happy.....realize that you do have a choice in this life to make things happen... to change the things you can't stand. Its YOUR LIFE!.

When I do a reading for someone based on life questions, I provide you the insight to what is happening right now...based on the current path you are taking.. Does this mean that is it.. nothing you can do about it and you have to suffer through it? NO!!! Pyschics are provided the insight in order to allow you to make those changes. To decide what it is you want and to allow you the insight to make an informed decision. Does this mean you should change your path based on what a psychic has told you what is to happen? No... you should take into consideration what is seen, and decide with your heart and your own inner intuition on where you want your life to go. The lessons you will learn in this life time will remain the same, but you CAN change the way you get there and with Whom.. So dont just sit there, love yourself...realize that you CAN be happy.

If you respond to this post with any thoughts or your own experiences your entered to win a family bypass payment (worth 25.00) Even if you just respond saying hello!

Develop Your Psychic Abilities

•1
Be positive and believe that you can be psychic. Any disbelief, doubt or fear will hinder your progress. Developing psychic abilities may happen faster for some and slower for others, but everyone can do it. It is not reserved for special people.

•2
Learn to meditate. Meditation helps you relax and is a very important part of being psychic. When your body and mind are relaxed, you are better able to pick up the subtle vibrations you need to develop your psychic skills.

•3
Be attentive. Focus on watching and listening. Paying close attention to all that goes on around and within you will sharpen your ability to catch psychic signals.

•4
Keep a journal. In your journal, record your dreams, psychic impressions, thoughts and any "coincidences" that may occur during the day. This will help you track your progress.

•5
Practice visualization. When you start using your psychic abilities, you may receive some information as pictures in your mind. Visualization exercises will help you receive such messages accurately. One way to practice is to look at a picture then close your eyes and try to see the picture in your mind exactly as it is.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a very Merry Christmas (if you celebrate) and a happy new year! I would love to hear peoples new years resolution? Do you make any... and more importantly...do you keep them?

For me, I always try not too...then give in and make some, and find myself not following through. Usually the same old ones like "going to loose weight" or "going to eat right".... This time, I am going to say "be thankful for what I have - ie. friends & family and good health". To do my best to remain positive, always trying to help others, but keeping time for myself. Being balanced in all aspects of my life.

Hopefully you all have some good ones too!

My FREAKY dream!

Sometimes dreams are "freaky". I think that I have posted before that Sylivia Browne made a prediction into the future that we would know for SURE in 2010 that aliens do exist. That there would be no more doubt that they were around us and would make themselves known. Well, we are almost at the end of 2010 and still no aliens.

Last night or I guess I should say in the wee hours of this morning I had a dream, and crossing my fingers like crazy that its just a stupid dream and not something to come.

In my dream the aliens did come. Their ships so large, that they looked in the sky like moons... You couldn't even see the entire ship, and it was white/grey in color. I wasn't scared when I had first seen it. I was just staring up and said "well I guess Sylivia was right after all!'. Then I heard people screaming. After a quick look around, people were being beamed up to the ship. I grabbed my two girls and my husband and I ran into the house closing the door quickly as possible. I am not sure what the reasoning was behind this. I think at the time was that people outside and viseable were being taken (not sure why, but did not want to find out).

Inside the house, I peeked through the curtains to see if they had left, or were getting closer, and seen it right above our house then. I could read some things on the ship underneath. Almost like a gigantic scoreboard. The only thing I could read before they shown the light in my eyes was "132 hours" and was in countdown mode. Then my husband threw the towel over my head in the hopes of hiding me so that they moved on. This is when I woke up.

I hate those kinda dreams were your scared like crazy! I am not sure what 132 hours is going to mean (which is about 5.5 days) so if anyone sees aliens let me know. I will be the one hiding under the towel!

Anyone else find this time of year crazy busy?

I usually try and have all my Christmas shopping done by the start of december, as I usually shop year round and just store it in my closet downstairs...but this year, haven't really found what I was looking for. So here I am today, going to a few locations to try and find that "perfect gift"... and what did I find? The 'perfect' line up! Oh my gosh! I was at the dollar store today and there must have been like 15 people in each of the two line ups that was there. I did not have enough time to wait in line so put my basket down and walked out. Headed over to zellers, and line ups where "bad" but not nearly as the dollar store. Can you believe it, we actually only have ONE dollar store out there? (one that is worth going to, I think that there is another one, but its not just a dollar!)

My grandmother is hard to buy for this year. What do you buy someone who is 80 years old? They are already starting to give away some of their belongings as they want to ensure that people are going to cherish what they have been given when they are gone. So I didn't want to buy her a 'trinket" that she had to worry about finding a home for. She has a million puzzles she just got for her birthday.. so what do you get them? Well, I made a calendar through picaboo (I got a "groupon" certificate by spending $35.00 and got $100.00 worth of credit! Love that site) and went on to my families facebook pages, and "stole" their pictures. I imported into the calendar, trying to include everyone in my grandmothers family (She had 5 kids!) and included everyones birthdays. Her recent complaint is how she can't keep everyone straight with who's birthday is when, and loves to send out birthday cards, but forgets half the time. Well, this calendar has all the birthdays in big letters, and today, by going to zellers, picked up those "general birthday card assortment box". It has like 15 cards for all kinds of birthdays and only cost 7.99!! So this gift in my mind is "perfect". It wont stay "forever" and will help right? I am hoping she likes my gift.

Anyone else have that "hard to buy for person" this year? Would love to hear your ideas!

Hoping to start again in the new year with posts that also focus again on awakening your own spiritual side!

The "spoil yourself contest" winner's details!!

Hello Cheri,

I finally had some time off from work to spoil myself and here are the detail:

I didn't expect to receive the 50.00 blog winning. When I received Cheri's email stating Amanda was passing the winning over to me I was over joyed and so thankful!!
As everyone may have heard my mother passed away on October 4th and I was extremely devastated and really felt lost. I was hit with the harsh reallity that I had to plan a funeral service for my mother who I expected to live nothing less than forever :) Prior to planning the service I hadn't treated myself to anything in over a year. I guess we get so bogged down with life and living that we forget to stop and treat our vessel! After taking a day to enjoy myself this is now something I plan to do at least once a month.
To start my day of spoiling i went to the local coffee shop for a muffin a cup of coffee and a wonderful book and enjoyed the time alone. At that time I didn't know how I was going to enjoy the rest of the day. I decided to do something that my mother and I would always do. i went to the local cosmetology school for a day of beauty. I got a manicure, pedicure, facial, eyebrow wax and my hair curled all for 40.00!!!! It was amazing to say the least. It was so relaxing and I felt wonderful and beautiful afterwards! I just want to say THANK YOU AMANDA AND CHERI from the bottom of my heart. I really needed this. This is something that we all deserve! Even if it means putting aside just $5 or $10 a week just to take that time to stop and treat yourself it is something that is well worth it. Thanks again!

The one who stands in your way for 'greatness' in this life...

Is YOURSELF!

There are always things that we want or want to do, but for some reason always end up putting it on hold, something else comes up, and we are often selling ourselves short.

I know that most of us have been brought up to be nice, do nice things for others, to not be selfish....etc.. but what we have also been taught, is that your life needs BALANCE. If your always giving of yourself, what is left for you? Its okay to be "selfish" at times for wanting to do things for yourself. I think that this is something that we often forget.

In my "need" to help others, and do good things, I have often forgotten what Cheri wants. Often too freely giving of my time, often committing myself to things that really have nothing to do with me, or have me going so far out of my way to be accommodating to someone or something, that I have somehow lost the reason I agreed in the first place.

I mentioned that this was part of my recent lesson in life. The ability to say "no" when I really did not want to do something, or to limit the amount of help I offer. This is a constant in my life right now and is very hard to do. I have a hard time saying no.

I think that this topic is also linked to depression. (I do not have it). Too many people are focusing on others problems, that they are often avoiding their own. You really need to realize that you have a choice here. You can either allow the depression to swallow you whole, and wreck havoc on your life and those around you... or you can admit that you need help, accept the help your given, which will allow you to refocus your life and where your priorities are.

You need to have time to focus on yourself as well. You NEED to realize that this is your life here. Yes we are able to reincarnate, but this is the only life you have as this particular person. These lessons you need to learn, these people around you in this shape/form/personality. So realize your full potential in this life. Realize that there are choices to be made, to enrich your life and make it more fuller.

Not enjoying what you do for a living? There is nothing stopping you from making that choice. Find another location (yes change is scary, but it can also enrich your life) Find another profession... there are subtle changes you can do to make things better.

If you had one thing that you could do for yourself, what would it be? A trip? A new vehicle? Would you change your profession? Have more kids?

For me. I would have more time to spend with the kids. More hours in the day to be able to get everything I want done. Gosh here I go again! Thinking of things I could do for/with other people. Hmmm.. For myself.. I would like a perm again, or some highlights because it makes me feel nice. I would work out at the gym to feel healthier...
