You know your tired when.....

You suggest to your client that they goto their Dr, and have them order a "BLONDE TEST".

Last night before bed, I replied to a client of mine and suggested the above. I had not realized that I did that, until she replied this morning asking if I meant a "blood test"! I thought that was what I had suggested, but apparently my fingers were thinking otherwise!

I have been trying to answer everyone's emails, lately have recieved quite a few requests and also trying to catch up with the free requests.

Life in general I think has been really busy this month. With the kids back in school, I run a daycare as well with anywhere from 1-3 kids (plus my two year old) and trying to keep the house clean is always a "fun" task!

Christmas is just around the corner and worried about setting up my christmas tree. My one daycare girl is "impulsive" (shes three) and worried she might decide to undecorate my tree! Her mom told me friday that while fixing the wall where the TV goes, they put their 50" flat screen TV against the fireplace. Well the three year old decided while her father was brushing his teeth, that she wanted to see what was behind the TV... CRASH! Mom says the TV is toast (they had not finished paying for it yet) but thankfully the girl is just fine! Must have been standing in the right place at the right time!

My two girls are excited about Halloween. My eldest is going to be a Vampire, and my youngest was supposed to be Tinkerbell. I let her try on her costume and she was pretty upset. First words "I can't fly!!! I can't fly!!!". So shes now decided to be Elmo. Have your kids decided what they plan to be?

Well to make today more "fun" not only by writing a comment in the spot below will enter you into the contest to possibly win a 50.00 paypal payment from me (to be used to SPOIL YOURSELF) but someone today will win a family bypass reading (25.00 value). I will announce the winner WEDNESDAY so you have until then to answer.

Please make sure to leave an email address or a login name of some sort, as I am using those to keep track of the entries for the October contest!

That had to be interesting for the client to read. I'm sure she found the humor in it like I am. Lol.

I'm so glad the little girl is okay. I was always afraid something huge like a tv would fall on Aidan so we have gates all around it to keep him from damaging it and definitely so he does not hurt himself.

Halloween is my favorite holiday.
Well, I let Aidan, my (almost) two year old pick out his costume. He chose to be Elmo too. Yesterday we went to the Halloween Event at our local Zoo, where they have activities, candy and some other stuff for the kids. It was extremely crowded, but all the children including my son were dressed up and happy so I guess all of us parents felt it was worth seeing them happy. I really want to take him out to a Halloween Patch and go pick/pay for some pumpkins to take home.

That's too funny about the blonde test!

I absolutely love Halloween. It's so fun to see all the kids get into it so much, not to mention the weather is beautiful. I don't have any children yet myself, but my oldest nephew is going to be a Transformer, while my youngest nephew will be a spider. They're both super excited, which makes it even more enjoyable. And before we know it, Christmas will be here... Yay!!

I really had to giggle when I read this. It would be something I would do. I often write my emails and postings while watching tv - trying to multi-task. And I end up rereading to make sure I haven't done something like that.

Also glad that the little girl is okay. So scary that that could happen.

I pretty much ignore Halloween. We live in an apartment building, so don't get any trick-or-treaters, but we are encouraged to get dressed up at work.

My favourite costume when I was growing up was a lion. My mom made the mane out of some amazing yarn (I typed yawn first - must be tired.) and I wore a yellowy suit with it.
Have a great day!
Oh, I'll be emailing you about a new reading.

Hey Cheri,
I'm glad I found your blog again! Sounds like you are pretty busy to say the least. I love love love Halloween. I have been trying to get my husband to get the lights down from the attic for 3 weeks, and he still hasn't done it. I have come to the conclusion that its not going to get done. My son is going to be Obi Wan Kanobi (sp?) my daughter is going to be Dora, and my youngest is just 3 months so i don't think i'll dress him up this year. Christmas always stresses me out, but my daughter was born on Christmas Day so i have to juggle what to buy her for birthday as well as Christmas...sigh. Well take care,Rachel

Cheri, I had a little laugh when I read your post. I understand how hectic the back to school routine can be. My kids are dressing up as Darth Vader and a Pirate. We're looking forward to Halloween, our SD has a Pro-D day on Monday Nov 1 Yippee!

My little one is being a cow! When we got the costume, the only animal noise he made was "moo." Since then, we've acquired oink (which is really a snort), meow, bark bark, and neigh. He loves the costume and I can't wait for him to wear it!

Love the blonde test! I do that a lot too!! My mind is thinking one thing, but mouth or hands say/do another.

My dogs will be dressing up again this year...lol...I know they hate my husband and I. The little one is an angel and the big one we still need to find his costume at Petsmart. As for our sons, the thoughts of Pirates came into my head, so I am looking for little pirate things to put at the cemetery for them. Today marks 16mos since they came into this world and left quicker than expected. I love you Angel and Matthew!

Ha Ha! That's very funny! I'm sure i could pass the blonde test some days!

Halloween ugh! I don't know what my daughter (9 years old) wants to do. She says she wants her costume to be home made. She wants to be a glammed up Tinkerbell (with Christmas decorations), but she just wants to decorate one of her own dresses. Good on her for trying to come up with a plan! I just hope I'm not scrambling at the last minute.

I have these kind of moments all the time. My little girl is going to be a fairy pumpkin princess while my little boy is going to be a pumpkins. My little girl tells everyone that we are going to be a pumpkin patch family :)

I am so in love with kids costumes right now! I can't wait until next year when I can dress up my baby and take her picture. My hubby is a photography hobbyist so I'm planning to wait until after Halloween when all the costumes are 75% off and buy a half dozen or more 6-9 month costumes so that we can take her picture in each of them next year and share with the family. It's funny that I'm more excited about that than my own Halloween plans this year. Jon and I are going to be Juno and Bleaker! :) Can't wait!

I love it! You sound just like me! Nice to know that I'm not the only one who makes silly comments because I'm exhausted!! :)

I love your "blonde" moment. :-) I do that all the time and it cracks me up except when I do it in a work e-mail, lol.

This is totally off topic, but do you have any advice for me as I'm about to do my first IUI in 2 weeks. I've been ttc #1 for almost 3 years and have never had a BFP. I re-read your post about imagining the sperm as it goes through all of the proper channels on it's way to the egg and so I plan on doing that as I lay there after my IUI but would you suggest picturing it now too? Or maybe writing down and keeping it close to me (I think you suggested writing it down before). Thanks for any suggestions you can make!

When I can't decide what to be for Halloween (yes, I am 27 yrs old) I go for the skeleton face paint, crazy hair with spiders attached and wacky, ripped dirty clothes.
