Stories of Inspiration and Journey!

I would like to start something new on Wednesdays. I want to recieve stories of inspiration, ones of ttc journeys or pregnancies. Possibly from people who have either tried for a long time, and found themselves unexpectantly pregnant, or how they had a long journey and the growth they experienced along the way.. I want inspirational stories, and would love to post at least one here every Wednesday! If your interested in appearing on my blog to give people positive outlook, inspiration and hope, I want to hear from you! Email cheri22@gmail.com and in the subject line please write "INSPIRATION" so I can locate it easier.

Here is the first inspiration storey, about my sister Jenn.

My sister Jen is now 28 years old. Shes been married now for over 2 years, and her and her husband recently decided to start trying for a baby. He has two children from a previous marriage, and had to have a reversal in December 2005. After trying on their own for over a year, they were told that he pretty much had 0 viable sperm. They both tried taking herbal remedies from a Natural path (horny goat weed, and false unicorn) and although those herbs hold high success, it was not so for them. January came, and my sister and her husband were told that they would be able to try IVF. They were told that the costs would reach up to about 10,000 (CAD) and that they did not qualify for a loan. My sister was obviously very upset. She decided to work her butt off for three months, two full time jobs, paid off 10,000 in debt just so that they could start IVF. In early March, they were told to start taking the medication for the begining of the IVF when she got her AF (Aunt flow=period=menstration) After two weeks and still no AF, she started to get a bit worried thinking it was the stress. Turns out, my sister was pregnant! She is currently 4 months along, and doing great. All U/S have come back looking good!

Message from Today!

Well, today I have taken the day off from my fulltime job and working from home. I have ALOT of requests that I am back logged with and the only solution I could think of, was to stay home and put a whole days work in to catch up for everyone. I know that people are frustrated, and trust me, I am too! I HATE being behind!

My internet issue on the weekend has been solved. The brand new modem Telus sent me a few weeks back fried itself! So they had to give me a brand new one. I am really hoping that this does not become a re-occuring thing wtih them! I dont have the time to be without internet!

I am also thinking of talking to my current employer to change my hours from full time to part time. Perhaps this is also something I need to do to ensure that "everyone" is happy including myself! I work full time, then make dinner while spending time with my daughter, and then work on my emails at night. I am not giving my full time job my full attention as I am sneaking it to do a few emails, and not giving my family my full attention as I am busy trying to catch up. So it leaves me a bit frazzled! lol

I love doing my predictions, I love helping people, and feel that this is where my "loyalty" lies (besides my family of course) and hoping that the changes I make will help keep me up to date, less frazzled and more time at night with my family as well! Balancing act is always fun right?

Again, thank you all for your patience. I am sure some of you would love to kick my arse right now due to the delay (about a week I believe) but this hopefully will change shortly~

Weekend and the frustrations!

this weekend was my daughters 4th birthday party. We had originally scheduled it to go to this fun park place by our house (10 min drive) which she has been talking about since January. Well the park called me on the day of the party at 9am to ask if I was still coming. Apparantly it was POURING with rain there (its an outside park) and I asked if I could call back in an hour to see if it was still pouring. To make a long storey short, it was :( I decided that rather than risk it continuing to pour that I would move the party to our house. That was 33 people (kids+adults) in our house! I know that my daughter was dissapointed, but once all the kids arrived, seemed to forget about it. My sister was kind enough to head to the dollarstore for balloons and streamers!

Also, on a side note, I have not had internet at my house since Saturday afternoon. I have no idea what happened! I thought perhaps it was just down for the time being, tried again Saturday night and still nothing. After my daughters birthday party I tried again, still nothing! I finally called our provider for help, and they said that they will have to dispatch someone to our house to check out the problem. So they should be coming over today, and hopefully fixing the issue!

Thankfully I have internet at work!!!

Scheduling Predictions!

okay everyone, trying something new! Gmail has a "calendar" built in, and I plan on using it t schedule out my predictions so that if someones email gets moved up, that I will still realize that its their turn. This should also help everyone know when they can expect their predictions to be completed by. I am still working out the kinks with the program as I have no idea how to use it, and I just found out, that its sending out "envites" to events! lol that can get confusing as I don't want people to think that they have to come and meet me to get their predictions! lol. I will find a way to use it properly, and it automatically sends out the envite as to what day to expect your reading. So please bare with me while I work out the "bugs" so to speak and learn how to use it properly for everyone involved. This should make things a lot smoother for everyone!

Happy Tuesday!

I hope that everyone enjoyed their long weekends! My dd who recently turned 4, just had her ears pierced yesterday. She did not cry, did not say that it hurt, nothing. I had two people do it at the same time "just in case" she did get upset, and I think that I held my breath waiting while they pushed it in with those earing guns. She did not even change the expression on her face and told me that it did not hurt. She is so proud of her new earings!

On other "news", I am looking for new ways of organzing my predictions on when people can expect to have theirs done. I find that I am behind more than I am not, and I feel horribly about that. I am thinking of making another site, that shows an update as to when someone can expect their prediction to be completed, or perhaps it will just be included in the email that is sent with a reply with a "completion" date. Keeping an "appointment" book at the computer will allow me to stay on task, and schedule it out and hopefully keep everyone happy? Any suggestions?

Weekend plans!

well, the first long weekend in awhile and hopefully everyone is just as excited as I am to have a day off! I have my sister coming out on Saturday morning and we are taking my daughter to go and see Shrek 3. I tried to buy advance tickets, but the guy at the counter said that they dont do that and I will have to stand in line on Sat morning like everyone else! At least I tried!

It will be nice to have my sister come out, I dont get to see her often (we live an hour apart) and my daughter adores her. She made both myself and my sister a mothers day present, and wont let me have mine until my sister can have hers! I adore their special connection.

My sister is currently just past 3 months pregnant. They were to go through IVF (her husband had a reversal, but it did not seem to work) anyways, the month that they were to start, all she had to do was wait for her period and she could start the pills which would start the process. Well as luck would have it, they concieved on their own that month, when they had been give a 0% sperm rate! Shes hoping for a boy, but I am seeing GIRL!

We are to go through the storage area I have kept all of the baby stuff in, and let her see what she would like to use for her baby. My husband and I are on the fence about another baby ourselves, so I dont mind lending it to her while we decide.

In regards to my emails, I am working on May 14th and 15th today, and should be starting on May 16th for tomorrow night. This means I am slowly catching up, and should only be a day behind.

Again, I apprecaite everyones paitents with me while I am behind.

Changes are ABOUND!

well everyone, my new site www.cheri22.com is now fully functional and my old angelfire sites have been redirected. So please dont be too confused if you head to the old site, and you find yourself back at my homepage to start off with.

I have altered the layout, to which you will see. I tried to make it easier by putting all of the accuracy predictions on one page, and tried to keep it in alphabetical order. I am going to eventually have some buttons on the top where it will list the different forums so you can click on it and will bring you to that section of the page. I also have put the payments on one page as well to make hopefully everything easier to navigate.

If anyone has suggestions or changes that might be easier/better for everyone I am definatley all ears! I did not do this site, but had my mothers husband do it for me. I have no clue about html and only know how to copy and paste when it came to updating the angelfire site! lol.

for the month of JUNE, I am willing to do "live" readings. These need to be "scheduled" between myself the person interested for a date/time that works for both parties. It will involve a half hour of time (could go over depending on the reading/questions asked) and pretty much anything will be answered. These will be done by either using gmail (has a chat) or by using MSN which ever is easier. So if your intersted in this, service, the charge is the same as a family bypass rate (25.00 CAD). Just email me cheri22@gmail.com with LIVE READING in your subject line and we can go from there.

I am slightly behind again in my predictions. I have over 60 emails right now that require my attention from May 10th till today. Please realize that I do my best to stay on top of it, and want to give everyone as much information as I can. It takes anywhere from 15-20 minutes to do one reading, this does not include the replies to any questions that might have been asked about the reading provided. So with sibling readings, takes usually 30 minutes to 45 minutes depending on how many kids that are being read, and the family readings usually take about the same amount of time, but replies are longer, because there are usually more questions that are answered, which then can take another 15-30 minutes to go over.

I do my predictions at night mostly, when my daughter is in bed, (shes turning 4 on the 16th of this month) I work full time, so basically my nights are spent with my daughter, shes in bed around 8:30pm which leaves me from about that time till 11pm when I head to bed to get my emails done. So please be patient with me. I really do try really hard to keep caught up.

First person to get to the bottom of this message, and replies in the comments section with a "suggestion" for my new site or a comment, wins a prediction bypass portion 7.00 value. Make sure to leave your email address as well so I can contact you:)

Happy Wednesday!

This post will have an update of sorts and some other important information.

firstly, feeling alot better today, pretty much over that horrible head cold and feeling more like myself! Thank goodness! So thanks for everyones well wishes and understanding when I got a bit behind with the emails. I am trying to catch up!

Also, has been brought to my attention that some people might have me confused with other people (meaning other psychics) Cheri Mancuso (www.mediumcheri.com) had recieved some posts from people thinking that she was me. So just wanted to let people know that although we have the same name, we are not the same person:) I only post as Cheri22, the only sites that I have connected to me is http://www.angelfire.com/planet/cheri22 where my accuracy is linked to as well as payment options, and my gmail account which is cheri22@gmail.com. I post on Todays Parent as Cheri22 and thats about it. (also kasamba, but not usually there) so basically these are "me", and others that have the same login name are not:) just so that there is no confusion:)

Cheri Mancuso is very nice and talented, and has an amazing gift too, so feel free to check out her site and services as well.

I also wanted to post about "positive energy". I do believe in the "laws of attraction" so if you have not read or watched "the secret" you might find it beneficial. I do believe that you can "control" the positive and negative energy. We all have this gift, and when focusing on something "negative" or a "hurdle" in your life you tend to bring more negative in. When you focus on the positive aspects of your life, you tend to allow more positiveness in your life. You will see a shift. This goes with ttc as well. When your so worried about not being able to concieve, you actually limit your ability. Your body reacts and litterally its going to be hard to concieve. When you alter your thinking you can alter this as well.

For example:
What I tell people is as follows
after having sex with your husband, stay in bed with your hips elevated for 20 minutes. Do not get out of bed until this time. With your eyes closed, I want you to envision the sperm going up and into your urterus, and envision the sperm metting up with your egg, and getting inside. After you have pictured this, say in your mind "this is my month to concieve. I feel relaxed and at peace. I am ready for this baby".. etc. I want you to do this at least three times... You can do this every time you have sex if you like, but its most important at your approx time for ovulation.

your mind is a powerful thing.. you will be amazed at what you will accomplish. I think that you need to also cut out pictures of babies, and put on your fridge. these are positive goals, ways to set your mind forward.. positive thinking....

When I did this, it was the month I concieved my daughter. (now almost 4). I know a few other women who have tried this, and had much success as well.!

Another day!

Well, I have had a cold since Friday night, I could feel it coming. By Saturday, I was completely stuffed up. I hate when I can't breath and your whole head feels stuffed up! My nose feels raw because of how many times I had to blow it. I have taken a few nyquils (day and night ) and not sure about anyone else, but they kinda knock me off my feet a bit.

Saturday night, when I went to bed my husband was already asleep. I climbed in at the end of the bed, to notice that my husband was nice and warmed up my side of the bed. (sometimes does this as I am always cold when climbing into bed) Thought it was really nice of him, he was already fast asleep so I cuddled up next to him thinking that he would move back to his side of the bed. Nope. Stayed there. After 5 min of me only having a tiny bit of pillow, he finally wakes up and pushes me a bit wanting me to move over. I explain that he is on my side of the bed, and he should move over now. He explains that he is on the edge of the bed already. This is when I notice, that I am on HIS side of the bed, using HIS pillow and no where near my side of the bed as I had thought! (we have a king size bed) So needless to say, you can tell how this nyquil affects me!

Feeling a bit better today, still a bit of a runny nose which I hate, and trying to get some emails caught up that I couldn't do on the weekend.

The contest below winner was Candace, but I have not seen an email come in from you. Hopefully you have put "blog winner" in your subject line or I might not see it come in!

Hope you all have a good day and feel better than I do!

Busy as a Bee

Just a quick update! April 27 to April 30th I was away on vacation with my family. We decided to head a bit south and enjoy some sandy beaches and my husband likes to surf.
unfortunetly, that meant no computer access for me as I did not at the time have a laptop! (which I purchased on monday when we got back! lol)

So I am starting off slightly behind from the ones I could not answer before I left, but will be catching up shortly! Thank you all for being so patient!

Now, for a bit of a "contest", the first person with the correct answer, wins a free prediction bypass (7.00 CAD value). If you can locate which "state" we went to that would have good surfing? Some of you know which "area' of the world I live in, and we went "south". (by car)

Good luck!
