A fun little challenge!
Posted by
Cheri22
As a way to win the reading this week, I am going to make this challenge a bit fun. I know I have told you all about the "laws of attraction". How you can focus on things that you want in your life and can manifest it to you. I have explained that you should watch the movie or read the book called "the secret" to understand this even more ( you can watch clips on youtube!)
I know lately that Elisabeth has been doing this alot (shes on face book too everyone!) and has been having much success with manifesting new money to her. So this is my challenge to you!
I want you to sit with your eyes closed and palms facing up. This would be better done in a room that is quiet without distraction. I want you to see in your minds eye, yourself sitting there, and then watching money come flying into the room and swirling around you and landing in your lap. I want you to be excited as you watch it pile up. "see" yourself holding it in your hands and being excited its yours. Visualize this a few times and "feel" the emotion associated with it. I want you to do this once a day until Sunday. If you remember to do this more than once a day then good! The more the better!
To be able to entered to win this draw, you need to post in the comments section if you were able to manifest "unexpected' money for yourself in the next week. This contest will run until next SUNDAY (November 8th) to give everyone some time to try this and report back with their experiences. This will bring money to you, either through a refund you were not expecting, money paid back that you were starting to write off, perhaps you will find money or someone will give you money as a gift...etc. All amounts count and I want either your total over the week, or the biggest single amount. If it did not work for you then still enter and just let me know that as of the deadline it had not manifested as of yet.
The winner will receive a free FAMILY BYPASS from myself. This is a 25.00 value!

Coping with negative people and protecting yourself from negative energy
Posted by
Cheri22
There are very few truly evil people in this world, but there is a lot of negative energy, and a great deal of focus on negativity, which is promoted by our world media. Evil is "live" spelled backwards - it is an energy that is anti-life.
There are many types of negative energies in the Universe, just as there are many positive energies all around us. Like attracts like energy, and positive people attract positive energies and experiences to them, while people who think negative thoughts often attract negative energies and experiences to themselves. You can go to a great restaurant with a negative person who complains about everything, and if you taste their food, it really tastes awful, even if yours is great. A negative person can even have an affect on the weather, which is why we might say that person has a "black cloud over them".
Negativity creates a very low vibration that attracts more and more negative energy, negative experiences, and negative entities. This negative energy can continue to spiral downward into lower and lower vibrations of energy, such as anger, rage and depression. These lower frequencies become like a black hole that sucks everything into it, and sucks the life force and joy out of everything and everyone around it. In this way, one person's negativity can bring everyone else down.
Negative people can also be energy vampires who steal power, energy and joy from others. If you feel discomfort in your solar plexus area at the base of your ribs when you are with someone or talking to someone, that person is robbing your power by attempting to intimidate you, overpower you, manipulate you or control you. Put your right hand over your solar plexus immediately to regain your power, your center and your balance, then take a step back to move away from their energetic field of influence. If you feel the discomfort in your lower abdomen, it is a warning and a gut feeling to protect yourself from their negative energy and intent, so try to get away from them as soon as possible.
When you encounter negative energy, envision yourself holding up a shield that is a mirror, which deflects the negativity and protects you from it. Detach yourself from the negativity, allowing yourself to simply be an observer and bystander without being engaged in it. Think of it like watching a play from the balcony, where it can be almost amusing and entertaining, rather than being caught up in the drama that is unfolding on stage.
If you find that you have taken on negative energy or negative thoughts and emotions, imagine that they are sandbags holding down your balloon. As you release each of these negative thoughts and feelings, you let go of a sandbag so your balloon can become lighter and lighter until it is able to fly.
The way to really overcome negativity is to rise above it, so shake it off and choose light thoughts and light emotions. Laughter is the fastest way to raise your vibration, so try to find some humor in the situation. The Universe is full of humor, if we do not take life personally or seriously; every situation can have its humorous or positive side, if we are willing to look for it and to see it from that perspective. Love and joy promote well being and life-force, so live well, laugh often, and love much - even in the presence of negative people. Your love and joy might raise them up instead of their negativity bringing you down.

Another reading giveaway!

Cheri22
Today is going to be a reading for Brooke777!!!
To be able to enter to win this contest, going to make it a toughie. I am going to get you to try and use remove viewing techniques again this time or your intuition. I have a picture of my youngest sitting right in front of the computer monitor. Shes wearing a dress. Is it light or dark? Is she sitting in this picture, or is she laying? Is the picture to the right of the monitor or the left?
Whoever gets the most right in this question wins! (sure some of you could probably guess, but lets test those psychic abilities)
Remember, its far easier to just go with your first instinct and not "think". Its when you start to think and second guess yourself that your going to be wrong! I know that I am most detailed and accurate when I dont try and figure out what I am being shown. Even if it sounds really silly to me, chances are the person its for will know exactly what I am reffering to.
I will announce the winner on SUNDAY! Good luck!

One of the fun parts of being a psychic.....
Posted by
Cheri22
Well, I was doing some readings for clients today while my little one had a nap. I was trying to get some more of the October special ones done and started a clients email where I was told that their way to getting pregnant had something to do with water. This happens quite frequently. Sometimes its the weirdest thing. Shown little red capsules, or told of a licorice taste, or even shown a twig of some sort for another reading. These things are always baffling when they come through....but google can be your best friend if you know what to look for. Today while looking at what water has to do with getting pregnant, came across this article that I thought others might find interesting. This could also be "mean" to your husbands, but if its works, will be worth it!
So if your ever told that you have unexplained fertility, let me know that you want me to look into any health reasons that might be happening to prevent it, or if there is any changes being shown that might benefit you in this way. Sometimes my guides shout it out right away, other times they will answer this question if its asked.

Color me surprised.....
Posted by
Cheri22
okay, if you are to color me surprised, what color would I be?
I know it sounds silly but this is really something I was thinking about the other day. Now when you are feeling scared, people attach "yellow" as the color. When your feeling sad, people ask if your feeling "blue".. when you think of death, people usually think black or white.... love of course is red.. so what color would I be if I was surprised?
I went to a wedding on the weekend. It was located up on Grouse Mountain. It was POURING up there. I guess you would be able to say it was raining cats and dogs! My husband dropped us off at the front where we have to go and ride this sky tram up to the top (picture above) and I ended up running through this massive puddle! It came right up into my shoes! I was more worried that I was going to slip in it and land on my butt, so I think I will take the wet shoes!
We had left in what I thought was plenty of time but after taking the sky tram the 8 minutes to the top, we managed to get there exactly on time. Everything was said to start at 5:30pm. We walked into the doors at 5:30pm and everyone was still mingling about.
My friend who I have not chatted with for years, wanted to see pictures of my girls. I went and grabbed the zipper to my purse and it came FLYING off! I kinda stood there a bit baffled as I hadn't realize just how worn out it was getting and had to go in search of my husband to help me fix it. After he stopped laughing that my purse had basically exploded, he tried to help me fix it. After it was finally put back together, the zipper would not stay closed. I insisted on after the ceremony of the wedding to head down to the gift shop and get another purse. I have been trying to get a new purse for a few months now (I seem to be not just a penaholic, but a purseacholic too!) But the two purses I bought over the last two months had to be returned as the zipper was BROKEN!
I get to the gift shop and guess what... the purses they had were 130.00-160.00!!! Sure they were real leather, but I am NOT going to spend that money on a purse! (I am too cheap!)
So after asking the cashier what else they had, I mentioned I would even take a backpack at this point, she steered me towards these "purse/backpacks". The choice was limited, and had blue and grey, and the new Vancouver 2010 Olympic logo on it as well. I figured it was the cheaper of the bunch (still 30.00) but it was "use able" and would be able to give it to my daughter when I was done.
I walked back up to where everyone was waiting before going to the reception and my husband spots me and starts laughing at my new "purse" and calling it a lunch box! Yes okay, it certainly did look like it could pass as one, but after I let him know how much the other purses were going to cost me, I think he kinda liked my new temporary bag!
This weekend kinda flew by. Perhaps its was the fact we did not get home until 2am in the morning and that our girls were up at 8am... or the fact I had to run out yesterday and locate a purse asap for all my "stuff".
So I am cheating today and giving away a free fertility reiki session.. anyone who answers the question about color me surprised above, is entered to win. Winner will be announced Tuesday!

The swine flu is freaking me out!
Posted by
Cheri22
Most times, things like this really do not bother me. It just seems like this one particular thing has me worried and freaked out! I watched a documentary or perhaps a news type show about the swine flu, and it was saying that it was affecting women more than men and seemed to average around the age of 32! (I am 33). In regards to our region, out of over 100 people who contracted this virus, 29 died. Something like 21 of those being women and 4 children.
I have tried not to worry about this and have thought about getting myself and my family vaccinated (I usually skip certain vaccinations that have not been here for the long term).
I was sitting at the oil change location today before picking up my eldest daughter from school. They usually give you a newspaper to read while you wait. I enjoy reading on world events and would prefer that the newspapers focus on more "happy" stories rather than the tragic things that happen to people around the world. Anyways, in the storey it shows a local woman (the location they gave is still an hour from here) that she contracted the H1N1 virus (otherwise known as swine flu for those of you not familiar) Shes only in her early 20s and she has a one year old daughter! Talk about hitting close to home and freaking me out even more!!
Anyone else a bit more on edge with his particular strand than they would normally be with other things? (like west nile virus, I am not really freaked out about that)
For those of you who participated in the October Special, you have not been forgotten. Please remember that I received over 100 requests (my final count) and that I am trying to get to everyone this weekend if I can.

Taking Control
Posted by
brooke777
First off, I'd like thank Cheri for allowing me the opportunity to post on her blog. Thanks Cheri! :-)
I have to admit I had a little trouble deciding what to write about this first time as many ideas were circulating in my head. But there was one in particular that seemed to take precedence over the others. One concept I could personally relate to. And that is the importance of "letting go" when it comes to trying to conceive. I'm not going to say, 'relax and let it happen' (although I feel there is some truth to that!) What I'm saying is, or suggesting is, to "shift your focus" to something you have complete control over.
While we have limited control (in my opinion) over when our babies decide to come in (outside of checking for blockages and hormonal issues), we have TOTAL control over optimizing our health through proper diet and exercise, for example. Of course, you want to put the thought out there to the universe that you'd like to conceive and give birth to healthy child. As I say to my clients, "Visualize it happening!" Think it, visualize it, FEEL it! Then step back and "let it go". Allow the universe to do its magic!
And while you're "waiting", focus on what you can do NOW! For ME, that was taking charge of my health, eating the right foods, drinking enough water, exercising again, becoming the best I could be, for ME. Baby or not! I guess you could say I "freed" myself from TTC's "grasp." I felt liberated and IN CONTROL. And it felt GREAT!
So my message is.... Don't "wait"..... ACT! Be proactive! Eat foods that nourish your body, drink enough water that every organ needs to function properly, exercise to improve overall circulation and reduce stress, meditate, do yoga, be good to yourself. Shift your energies away slightly from TTC and those predicted time-frames...holding on too tightly may cause delays. Focus on what you can do in the present moment! Get yourself healthy, go for a walk, take care of yourself. Take CHARGE of what you CAN control! You may even find yourself pregnant in the process!
Blessings to all!

Horoscope Tuesday

Cheri22
Tuesday, Oct 13th, 2009 -- The lively Leo Moon activates a desire for spontaneous fun and games, yet this is strongly counteracted by a sobering Venus-Saturn conjunction in service-oriented Virgo. The pleasure-seeking attributes of Venus are suppressed by stern Saturn, preventing satisfaction. But a sextile from energetic Mars supports Venus and Saturn, allowing us to turn delays to our advantage. Ultimately, patience is rewarded as we work toward our long-term goals

Okay, as funny as the title is, I do actually say that! Perhaps not a ton, but its something I have probably said off and on for years. I went into my inbox and there is literally over 100 October special requests!! So thank you all for participating in this October freebie. As I mentioned before, please be patient with me while I get through them all. I need to still keep up with the paid predictions and still complete all of these requests so its obviously going to take me a few days. I am hoping to tackle quite a few each day so just stay tuned. If you got an automated reply from my email, then I did receive yours! If you did not get that automated reply, please email with "TROUBLE" in the subject line and I will check to see if yours did come in.
Now, for the blog contest, thank you all so much for the website links. I will be searching and bookmarking them all in the next day as I try and do my menu planning. I always like to try something new so really looking forward to what I can find.
The winner drawn randomly from the entries is lucky number 13!! (Christina Bohne) you win the free reading with leah! Please email me cheri22@gmail.com with blog contest in the subject line and I will give you the email address for Leah. I will try and have it linked on the lower right of this blog for anyone else who is looking to get in touch with her!
I did the turkey on Saturday and turned out well. Everyone even had seconds, so I guess the turkey the way I had gotten it, was successful. Not sure I would do it again as I think for what I got the price I paid was a bit silly, but hey, saved the headache of cooking it right?

Its that day of the week!

I am just about to head to bed but figured I would post this give way now before I forget. This week I am giving away a reading from LEAH! I am going to make this really really easy!! What is your favorite online recipe site? I am always looking for good things to make and seem to be hitting a bit of a dry cycle right now and not very creative. I will announce the winner on Monday!
For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, hope you have a great one. We are having our turkey on Saturday. Should be fun. Believe it or not, I bought a "pre-done" turkey package. The turkey is already cooked, you just need to heat it up for 2.5 hours and the package comes with everything you could possibly ask for. The stuffing, potato's, the cranberry sauce, the buns, and the pumpkin pie.. is that cheating? lol. The turkey usually gets me a bit of anxiety. I am always worried it wont be ready in time for the guests, or that I did not defrost it for long enough or cook it right.. or that you have to get it started so early in the morning. This time, I figured I would take the more relaxing way where I can just stick it in knowing its going to be done and not have to worry about timing, Being able to relax with my guests rather than stressing about the turkey. I have heard that the turkey is good so I have my fingers crossed!!! Anyways done it this way?
Don't forget the October monthly special posted in a post below.

Here is today's horoscope. I found a neat little site that has these posted, if anyone is interested in seeing the site, let me know:)
The Sun in Venus-ruled Libra motivates us to seek beauty wherever we look. Libra is a mental air sign, so this side of Venus emphasizes thoughts about aesthetic harmony and social grace. Meanwhile, the Moon in Venus' other sign, sensual Taurus, highlights the experience itself. We directly engage our senses now; thinking about it isn't enough. But we need to exercise caution, for the Moon's square to extravagant Jupiter tempts us to overindulge.

Is it cold out there, or is it just me?

My Sister in law got married Saturday morning. They had their wedding in a small little town, which is about a 3 or so hour drive from our house. Since the wedding was VERY early in the morning, this meant that we either had to be up at around 4am to get there on time, OR we had to spend the night. We have our own trailer, and figured spending the weekend there up on the mountain where they had their reception would be a good idea. They had about 70-100 people coming and most of the people were to either bring their trailers and camp out, or they were going to stay in a motel.
I am not one for the cold, and with it being October, its not really the time of year that you would find me "camping". After being assured that "past" temperatures for the region would be around 25 during the day and around 14 (Celsius) at night, I thought it would be okay and jackets would obviously be needed at night.
The few days before, I looked at the weather network online and it said highs of 14 and lows of 1. This was NOT impressive! So I planned accordingly. Knowing our trailer had heat and I could always take my girls in and warm them up.
Friday night was chilly, spent more time in the trailer than outside. They had a rental tent up for the part on Saturday night which some people headed into out of the cold. Others stayed in the trailers or mingled at the LARGE fire. Wedding went well, pictures were fast and we were back at the campsite and making lunch for the girls. Again, it was jacket weather for sure and I definitely layered us all up so it was comfortable. The littlest one did not really make it very long through the dinner portion Saturday night. After all of the running she did during the day I don't blame her. Around 9pm we headed for the trailer and I got her ready for bed. This is where it gets "fun". I don't get to spend alot of time with my DH outside of the home "kid free" (who does these days". So told our eldest she could either come out and dance a few songs with us, or wait in the trailer. (the trailer is about 10ft from where we were and in vision the entire time) So I headed out and started to dance with my husband. 5 minutes later, our eldest came out. I didn't think it would be the little one as when shes sleeping, shes sleeping (at least for the first half of the night anyways). Turns out our battery for our trailer was DYING! This means, NO HEAT!
Anytime we turned something on, the lights or the heat, it started to beep really loud! I had to turn the heat off. Afterwards, figured it was time to hit the sack at around 10pm and see what the night held in store.
In the middle of the night, the little one awoke, I had her lying beside me. I put a toque on her head and a sweater over her pjs. Come the morning time, it was around 8am when we all woke to our eldest announcing that their was SNOW on the ground. Turned out it was frost, but with the trailer having no heat, and being able to see our breath in the morning I was not happy to hear the word SNOW!.
To make a long storey short I wanted to leave right away. It was COLD outside. My husband figured we should hang around for a few hours where as I wanted to leave pretty much right away. He thought we were being crazy for leaving early, and I thought we were being crazy for staying! After he walked out and talked to a few people and found out a few of the people he is good friends with had already left!!
Thank goodness for that! So next time I ever mention going camping in October, can someone please slap me?
