Its not as easy as it looks.....

Well, I went to the lab on Friday, ended up having to take baby as she was awake, and wouldn't leave her with dh because I am breastfeeding so he would have nothing to feed her should she decide she was hungry. I waited 30 minutes at the lab for them to even see me (seems like alot of people there) and she asked if I had fasted for 4 hours. Ummm.. nope. At my dr appt on thursday when he told me to get the test done, I asked him if I needed to do anything like not eat or drink before hand and he told me NOPE! So needless to say they turned me away and told me to come back on Saturday ( I couldn't return later friday) So I get there right after I put baby down for a nap, I wait 10 minutes this time, let her know I haven't eaten yet and starving and she tells me that they can't do the test as they have already used up all their breath kits that morning!!!! Can you tell I was mad? She could lol. She explained that there was alot of people in that morning for the same thing and that they could not do it for me too and I would have to come back another day. She even had someone else come and explain that all I needed to do was fast for 4 hours and could come back another day. I explained I was breastfeeding, that I needed to eat, and the only time I could really do it was early in the morning. I left the lab really upset.
I now can not go until TUESDAY because they are closed on sunday and monday out here is a holiday. So today is like day 12 or such of having this "issue" and it hurts and seems to be getting worse. I actually went to the pharmacy to see if I could get anything at all that would be okay while breastfeeding. He gave me two things which are supposed to be safe while pregnant. They helped a bit, but also, the baby seemed to be burping and puking alot more (spitting up!) and I dont think that its good for her and wont take it anymore even if it did provide slight relief. So still have to go back on tuesday morning, as well as take my daughter to her first day of school! ITs going to be a busy morning. So wish me luck to hang in there and put up with this ache/pain for a bit longer, and hopefully its easier to solve than it has been to get the test!
For the ask jeni questions below, I have let her know that they are there, she will make her way to the blog and will respond right in the comments section for you. For those who emailed, I have already forwarded her the emails as well:)
Hope you all have a great weekend!

ASK JENI

Now that my friend is a bit more settled with baby (her son is around the same age as my baby - 3 months!) I am pretty sure that its safe to offer the "ask jeni" segment again on this blog.
As you all know (or might not know) my friend Jeni is VERY knowledgeable in the fertility area, shes got allow of knowledge and experience to back her up. Shes suffered her own m/c and able to conceive right after as well with facing her own fertility problems. So with this blog post, you can either post in the comments section your questions about fertility, something you might have heard and want to double check, or ask for advice in regards to your own situation and she will answer you in the same comments section. If your a bit leery about posting your info (this can be done by anon though in the comment section) You can email me cheri22@gmail.com and put in "Ask Jeni" in the subject line and I will forward her your email. She will try to answer as many as she can.
For me, I am heading to the lab today. For the past 10 days now I have had a really bad stomach ache (cramps/gas) and because I am still breastfeeding I can't take anything for it (like pepto!) So headed to the dr yesterday and it "might" be an infection in my stomach. I have never had anything like this last more than a day, and here we are on day 10! Wish me luck that its something "simple" and this test can just prove that. I have to make a dr appt next week as well to get the results!

Does money grow on trees?
Posted by
Cheri22
Gosh do I wish it did. I know my dad used to ask me this when I was a teen, asking me if I thought money just grew on trees (I am sure you can all relate). Funny thing is, there is actually a tree that is called a "money tree".
This storey is to show you what the power of positive thinking can do for you. A client of mine took up on the challenge of using this to gain more money to come here way, here is her storey to hopefully inspire you to try it yourself and see what type of results you can get!
My story is fairly simple. I have heard of the power of positive thinking, and your blog have inspired me to try the money exercise. I started by selecting an image - $20 bills coming towards me from all directions. I tried to concentrate on this image a few times throughout the day, just by taking a few seconds and forcing myself to believe that it is possible. That same weekend I had $300 in $20 bills in my purse. With a little success, and still wondering how much of it is just a coincidence, and how much of it is universe responding to my exercise, I e-mailed you, Cheri, and you encouraged me to continue, and to try "the winning ticket" image. I couldn't quite make myself believe it, so it was important to find something I could believe coming my way... I now chose an image of a check with $4,000 - 5,000 written to either myself, or my beloved. I'd have no idea how it would find us, but a check is easy to imagine, and for some reason it worked again! My beloved got 7K raise today, very unexpectedly. He's only been on his job a few months, and was most certainly NOT due for promotion. How does such a miracle come along? I don't know, but here it is.
Now, I am going to try a higher number. It's somewhat easy for me to believe seeing a check with our names on it. I try not to think of how it will happen. I'm shooting for $40,000. Sometimes I have to relax, and remind myself that anything is possible! And then just picture it, and imagine how excited and relieved I would be to have such a check deposited into our account. The image "Check in my hands, and I'm depositing it. Excited.".
Thanks again *hugs*
P.S. Right now I'm also working on visualizing myself getting pregnant.P.P.S. I have also begun "sending love" exercise with my step-daughter to be. She is at a tough age (15), and I try to imagine her wrapped and protected by my love. Surprising thing - it feels like work, it's hard to stay concentrated on these images. I try to hold them for as long as I can (10 seconds? 30 seconds?) I try to remember to do it a few times a day. Some days I forget, but others I remember to do it 3-4 times. Every little success makes me a little bit more of a believer!

Well, got some exciting news...well for me anyways! After pestering my friend yet again for her amazing storey of her ups and downs with ttc (you will all love to hear her storey!) she told me that she was getting some software that you can speak and it types what you say.... can you believe that! I guess she has hurt her thumb and its hard for her to type, so she is waiting for the software to be up and running and then will send her storey along for everyone here.
Now here is the exciting part!! I spend literally, anywhere from 3-5 hours TYPING out the predictions, doing my replies, scheduling....etc... see where I am going here!!!! I just ordered this software yesterday and should be arriving tuesday. Now i have to get my sound card working first apparently, and my mom's husband is just the computer whiz to hopefully help me out!
I talked to my mom ages ago telling her how I wished there was a program out there that could do something like that, and most have not been thinking, as I never looked into it. I found out that people speak about 120 words per minute and the average person typing about 40 words per minute. Me, I am closer to 60 words per minute, but with spelling mistakes of course. I guess this program will be able to fix that for me too as it knows how to spell the words! lol.
So, by using this program to help type out my predictions, not only will this go faster for me, save my wrists and hands (they do get sore) but I can include alot more information as I can certainly talk faster than I speak!
So just keep an eye open, I will announce this on the blog when its up and running!

A very touching message

Now as mentioned in previous posts that I do believe in "a" god, but not necessarily to the same extent as others, but I just found this message to be really touching and heart warming and so linked with babies! lol. My friend Jeni (as in ASK JENI) sent it to me and thought others might like to read it as well. I am not normally one to post it, but hopefully gives you all the "tingles" and tugs at your heart strings as it did mine.
A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'
The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in Heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'
Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel w ill tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.' 'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'
'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'
'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'
God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

Time for a free reading giveaway!
Posted by
Cheri22
Today is Thursday so it means that I can give out a free reading to the winner for a tarot readings by brooke777!!!
And I am going to make this one easy. I have mentioned countless times how important it is to be a positive person, or to at least try and be more positive in your life. This is totally doable and sometimes it just takes awhile to get started or to remember to get started. I know someone who used to view things really negatively, always worried about what would happen, and the stresses she was experiencing. After trying to be more positive, she had found things have come more naturally to her, things that she was originally worried about have worked out, and she finds this hard to do, but is sticking to it based on the results she has already seen.
So to be able to be entered to win for today's giveaway, I want you to tell me something positive about yourself. What do you like about yourself.. I know most of us always complain that we don't like our thighs or but area, or this can even be something positive about your personality! This is not hard to do, all you need is to post in the comments section with your answer, I need your email address or a login of some sort to link to you if your the winner.
So I will get started with me... I like the shape of my eyes, and In regards to my personality I like to think that I am helpful, and nice and honest.. wow, three things!! Whoo hoo!!!
I will announce the winner tomorrow

"cluck cluck cluck" this is me running around like a chicken with my head cut off! lol

Cheri22
(Edited by me, as obviously I dont know what sound a chicken makes and had "buck" instead of "cluck"!! LOL)
Yesterday was one of my busiest days. I had a birthday party to take my eldest too (which means little one has to come as shes still being breastfed). This party was a 45 min drive, after the party I was supposed to attend a "family" function as well about 30 min from the party. Now with this also being my dad's birthday and I tend to screw it up, I wanted this year to make sure to do it right. There was a time I did not get to call my dad on his birthday (I was a friends house who moved to "no man's land" and their phone was not installed) and then last year I called my dad the day before his birthday thinking that it was the day (had my days all backwards) So this year I called him first thing in the morning before heading out so I would not have a chance to forget! I call him and this is how it goes.
ME: Happy birthday dad!!
DAD: Its not my birthday....
ME: Yes it is! Quite screwing with me
DAD: I am serious today is not my birthday its tomorrow
ME: Yea right, your just messing with me. Today is Sunday Dad, the 17th...
DAD: Yes I know, my birthday is the 18th!!!!
Oh my goodness, I had done it again! I have NO IDEA how the heck I thought his birthday was the 17th when its been the 18th for the last 59 years! lol. Not sure what I was thinking but we both had a good laugh.
On my way to the birthday party, we have to drive on the freeway, and the baby starts to cry (did I mention shes not fond of the car?) And I have to pull over not even 5 minutes from the house to feed her as apparently shes decided its time to get fed:)
We get to party, go inside, not even there for like 10 minutes, and again shes upset, I go out to the parking lot and into the car, and I feed her again. (we are at a children's party place - chuckie cheese - and I am not good with feeding in public places! long storey! lol) We are there at the party and have to race out at 1:15 to make the family bbq that is supposed to be over at 3. We get there about 1:45, and everyone waits like 10 minutes and they start to leave??? Next thing I know, 10-15 minutes later, the "beautiful" sunny day turns into showers, thunder and lightening!
Now add this to the fact that baby I believe is teething (is this possible even at 3 months old - today) Shes shoving her hands in like crazy on her gums and pulling and getting upset. Shes had two times where she felt warm to the touch. I dont remember my eldest doing this at this age.
This Thursday will be giving away a reading again for Brooke777! As always if you have a storey to share that is "encouraging" something you have overcome you would like to share, perhaps it will give insight to someone facing similar situations.... email cheri22@gmail.com and in the subject line, put "blog post" and I will trade you a prediction bypass question for anything that is posted.
Trying to recoup and relax from my otherwise busy day yesterday, and staying inside as its raining:) Hope you all have a relaxing day as well

Did you miss me? lol

I am back online and ready to go! I have been home since Wednesday night, and you know what the first thing I did? I came online and checked emails, tried to get some of the replies answered and cleaned up, and yesterday was back up and answering emails and doing predictions. Can you tell that I missed doing this! lol. We went to my Uncle's cabin for 5 days with friends and family. Its a 5 hour drive from my house. Can you imagine doing that with a almost 3 month old baby who really does not like the car? lol. The way up there was good, we only pulled over one time to feed her, and she was happy/content. The way home, that was another storey! I did not leave the cabin until 10:30am, where as when we left home it was 7:30am. Big difference! I must have stopped 3-4 times on the way home to cuddle/feed her, and then put her in the car seat again and drive as fast (yet of course safe) as I could before she "demanded" to be let out again! So I know that for next time, leave early when shes her "sleepiest" and not as upset about being in the car. (she does not like to get hot, and I believe the car seat makes her hot)
While up at the cabin I learned the hard way that chipmunks like to take apart towels and blankets. Imagine my surprise when my MIL (yep, she came ack!) came in and told me that the blanket had a strip being torn out of it along with one of my uncles towels! Apparently they like to make their nest a bit more comfy. I know sounds stupid, but I really did not have any clue, I guess I just figured that they would be happy with the stuff they find in the forest for their nests! Apparently there are also alot of bears up in the area. Did I mention that I am afraid of bears! lol. I know, again, silly as they are more afraid of us as well and if you make alot of noise they tend to avoid you. You just never know though when a hungry bear just doesn't care how noisy you are! My husband had seen one a few cabins down from where we were staying, and my MIL and a friend actually were out on the lake and seen one swim right across from them. That would have freaked me out! Could you imagine, even swimming in the lake, and then seeing a bear go by you? Oh my goodness!
My daughter for the first time managed to catch a few fish. Her daddy took her out on the lake in the paddle boat, and they were gone for 30 minutes and she came back with two fish and was the proudest ever as she actually caught them both by herself and no help from him.
As a reminder to those of you who might have missed the post, AUGUST special is - If you buy the prediction bypass (8.00) and mention "Mr. Potato Head" in either your message to seller spot or in a separate email, you will get a free question answered. So that's basically 2 questions answered for the price of one. You can either use if to answer a life question or another child here or yet to come, its up to you! This is not announced on my site, so you would have to read the blog to be aware of this "special". I don't mind if someone posts is somewhere so that others might take advantage of this special, but this is the only way to find out:)

Offline for a few days.........

Hopefully some of you will miss me;) lol.
I am offline from August 9 to the 14th for some much needed "family time". I will not have any access to the computer, and we are planning on spending it having fun and reconnecting. I have done all the predictions up to this day, and scheduled ones for when I returned, as I didn't want to leave anyone hanging. Hopefully if you have emailed me and wondered why I haven't replied, you will have checked the blog and realized I am MIA! lol.
Can't wait to get back online as I am going to have the "computer itch" really bad.
I hope you are all enjoying your summers!

Pregnant and acne, they do go hand in hand
Posted by
Cheri22
Most women will either "glow" with pregnancy, or they will end up with acne due to the hormonal changes in their body. I actually ended up with this with my first pregnancy! It was ALL OVER my upper back and to me, was really bothersome. Thankfully it ended up clearing up in my second trimester. I was lucky that with my second pregnacy I got to skip this stage! I had a client email as shes gotten the pregnancy acne bad and is obviously not happy with it and I don't blame her. I thought perhaps that others might like to see the information I was able to uncover and be able to deal with their pregnancy acne (or even regular acne) a bit differently.
As always, before trying or taking something, consult with your dr or a natural path, as you never know when something might react with something you are currently already taking.
Approaches for Acne:
Aromatherapy: Apply a single drop of tea tree oil directly to the blemish after cleansing. Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic. It is gentle to the skin and speeds the healing of blemishes.
Acupressure: Stomach meridian is one of the several energy pathways that govern the skin functions. Acupressure, when practiced properly, can improve the appearance of your skin.
Juice Therapy: Use a blend of one part beet juice, three parts carrot juice and two parts water to stimulate the liver and to cleanse the system.
Reflexology: Try working the liver, adrenal gland, kidney, intestine, thyroid gland and diaphragm reflex points on your hands or feet.
Yoga: A series of five yoga poses can help increase blood flow to your face, flushing away toxins and providing nutrients to your skin. A daily routine of the following yoga poses are recommended: standing sun, knee squeeze, seated sun, baby and cobra.
The following information was provided by my client as well
Dermatologist products: I am using topical products from my derm which are pregnancy safe - Azaelic acid (finecia). Since I now have acne rosecea on my cheeks (thanks peanut!) he also ok'd metro gel (metronidadol) for the redness. (I was advised both take about 4 weeks before you see any difference). When I get REALLY desperate, I go to the derm. for a cortisone injection (I did so today). My ob approved it since it is a diluted version of cortisone and it is not intramuscular (like for asthma and such). I had severe cystic acne on my chin.. she got a couple of spots w/the injection today. Waiting to see how it looks tomorrow (as it takes 24 - 48 hours before you see any difference).
Benzoyl peroxide is considered a level "c" in pregnancy. Although my OB ok'd it, (he said "little doses).
Topical erythromicin is also ok during pregnancy. It burns your face and causes redness and peeling.. again so folks with sensitive skin should beware..
Because my acne is so bad, he ok'd oral erythromicin which is also pregnancy safe.
I also read something about placing "tumeric" on your face. Havent tried it yet...
Natural skin products; Tea tree oil combined with apple cider vinegar seems to work on "mild" acne - (removes small bumps overnight) however TTO is not officially studied during pregnancy (so not known effects). Its pretty strong so people should be aware of using too much on spots (if you have sensitive skin.. might burn and cause redness).
Food products: Radish also has natural sulfur in it which is supposed to help with acne. However the raw versions of any "root veggies" (like alfalfa & radish) like in salad's and such I read are not suggested since they may contain bacteria. I believe the cooked version is ok. I am going to try a recipe I found on food network this weekend that is the "cooked" version.
Carrots also are good antioxidants supposed to help with acne and redness. I have been eating a ton of them lately.
My ob basically said try to get your "acne" helpers in foods. I also bought a juicer that I hope will help me a bit too with adding more of the good acne food fighters..
One last good thing...Acupuncture has also helped me.. not only with stress.. but they have points that they can use for hormone reduction and also inflammation.
I also read that exercise is supposed to help acne since it increases blood flow to areas of the skin which helps push out toxins... I figure I could add some extra helping information to add to your site since you have been so helpful to me!

Money and the laws of attraction
Posted by
Cheri22
I have said this before and will say it again, if you can, watch/rent/read the movie/book called "the secret". I find that this book has a lot of ways of opening your mind to what CAN be, and being able to give you the things in life that you are looking for. If anything, can certainly add a more positive feel in your life. You can use this technique for ANYTHING, and does not have to be just about money. I know plenty of women who use this idea for trying to conceive as well. I know that my positive thinking techniques below are "based" on positive thinking or laws of attraction and know lots of women who have used that technique and conceived the month that they used it (Myself included with both of my pregnancies!)
I know that they have another book that goes even deeper into explaining how it works, and figured that the snippet from the book, would help perhaps shed some light on the book, that someone might find interesting:)
Many people have watched or read The Secret and believe that you can ask the universe for any material thing you would like and the law of attraction will deliver it to you. But of course it’s not as simple as that. You have to change the way that you think if you want to change your world. In this extraordinary book Esther & Jerry Hicks outline the secret behind the Law of Attraction. They explain clearly how to focus your energy to manifest prosperity. Learn how to create abundance by: •Focusing on what you want in your life and not on what you don’t have •Seeing yourself as wealthy not poor •Visualising yourself as enjoying the object or lifestyle that you dream of Abraham’s powerful techniques will teach you what prosperity truly is and enable you to use the Law of Attraction to bring this energy into your own life. There is enough for everyone. The Key is for each of you to see it and want it – and then you will attract it. Know that you have the power to attract whatever you desire. Affirm that money flows to you easily and that you have an unlimited supply of abundance ad prosperity

I've got a new perfume!

Its called "ode to baby puke" and I happen to be wearing it right now! lol
Baby seems to be a bit of a puker at times. If she burps and is not sitting up right, sometimes it comes flying out. Or if you put her down to lay for a bit and let her play with some of the toys that hang, she pukes, or heck, you have her up on your shoulder and your patting her back, when she burps, and you don't stop patting, usually results in her spitting up yet again! lol
This is all new to me, as my first daughter barely spat up, barely drooled, and I kinda liked it that way. Did I mention that baby spit before used to make me gag? lol, and well funny how things kinda happen to get you over that really fast!
Also seems that when I wearing a certain pair of pants, that's when the baby gets me the most.. do you think its a coincidence? Perhaps she does not like those pants and is telling me its time to go shopping for some new clothes? (I am still wearing my maternity pants by the way! lol) Do you think its a legit excuse that will work on my husband? lol (don't worry, its a joke, hubby would have no problem with me buying some new clothes that fit - I am waiting till more of the baby weight is gone! lol)
So, with this being said, anyone got any ideas/tips/tricks on how to cut down with the baby puking? lol. Its not tons, but I am not sure how much I like this perfume, and taking a shower every time certainly wont keep costs down with the cost of water out here (Yep, that's right, we have to pay for what we use out here, its all metered, in my city anyways! lol)

Ovulation basics
Posted by
Cheri22
Here is some information I found that I thought really might help for those of you who are not familiar with your ovulation and what is "average" for most women.
Ovulation Basics
What is ovulation?
Ovulation is the release of a single, mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary. It usually occurs regularly, around day 14 of a 28-day menstrual cycle. Once released, the egg is capable of being fertilized for 12 to 48 hours before it begins to disintegrate. This is the most fertile period of your cycle: during ovulation your chances of conception are highest.
When does ovulation occur?
Ovulation usually takes place 14 days after the beginning of your menstrual cycle. The time of ovulation within the menstrual cycle is determined by the luteal phase, which is usually 12 to 16 days long. You can calculate the time of ovulation within your cycle by subtracting the length of your luteal phase from the length of your cycle. For example, if your cycle is 28 days long and your luteal phase is 12 days long, the ovulation will occur on day 16 of your cycle (28-12=16). The exact time of ovulation may vary within your cycle, because ovulation can be delayed by a number of factors such as stress, illness, diet, or increased physical activity.
How does ovulation determine my fertile days?
Your fertile period starts about 4-5 days before ovulation, and ends about 24-48 hours after it. This is because sperm can live in your body for approximately 4 to 5 days, and the egg can live for 24 to 48 hours after being released. You are most fertile on the day before and the day of ovulation. Knowing your fertile days can help you increase your chances of getting pregnant, or avoid an unwanted pregnancy. Read Ovulation and Pregnancy and Ovulation and Contraception for more information.
How do I calculate my fertile days using Ovulation Calendar?
Ovulation Calendar calculates your fertile days based on your menstrual cycle data. To use Ovulation Calendar you need to enter the first day of your last period, the length of your menstrual cycle, and the length of your luteal phase if you know it. Based on these data, Ovulation Calendar generates your personal daily fertility chart showing the fertile days in green:

Can I feel ovulation?
You may experience lower abdominal discomfort, a slight rise in body temperature, and changes in cervical mucus during ovulation. Prior to ovulation, your cervical mucus is cloudy and thicker, and a few days before ovulation it becomes clear, slippery, and stretchy like raw egg whites. Immediately following ovulation, your body temperature can increase by 0.4 to 1.0 degrees Fahrenheit. About 20% of women feel discomfort or pain in their lower abdomen as the egg leaves the ovary. This condition is known as 'mittelschmerz', and it usually lasts from a few minutes to several hours.
What happens in my body during ovulation?
The process of ovulation is triggered by the release of Luteinizing Hormone (LH). The levels of this hormone increase significantly about 1-2 days before ovulation, causing the egg to be released from the ovary (this increase is known as the 'LH surge'). The egg travels down the fallopian tube towards the uterus. If fertilization does not occur within 24 to 48 hours after ovulation, the egg disintegrates and is expelled with the uterus lining at the start of your next period, usually 12-16 days later. If fertilization occurs, the egg implants itself in the lining of the uterus and begins its growth, resulting in a pregnancy.

For the month of AUGUST ONLY!!!!

I am going to do something "special" this month. This will happen in August only and will not be advertised on my main site. So the only people who will know about this is the people who read my blog, and anyone who you might pass this information to.
During the month of August, anyone who purchases the prediction bypass (8.00 value) will automatically receive an extra question answer at no charge. This can either work out to be two children to be read, or two life questions to be read, or even one child and one life question. Its entirely up to you!
So, with that being said, the code word is "Mr. Potato Head".. what does that have to do with anything?? Nothing really, its just funny in itself and makes me laugh! So when purchasing the prediction bypass, this code word has to be in your message, either the subject line or the message body but it must be there, or I can't do the special for you:)
So, for the month of August only. I will try and do something fun each month if possible, as I am sure like everyone else, I like to do nice things for people. Not only does it make the person on the other end feel good, but myself as well.
