another psychic test!

Another thing for everyone to try to increase their gifts. As I mentioned in numerous posts before, everyone has a psychic gift, some areas are going to be easier to develop and seem to come through extremely fast, and others will take time and practice.

This one might be a bit more difficult, but for some people might be really easy and could actually be their gift. I believe its called "remote viewing" but It might have a more proper term.

I know for me, I can use this when trying to describe where something is located, been shown images/layouts of what peoples kitchens look like, where a loved one might site when visiting...etc.

So, to do this you need to have no distractions, no TV on, no music on..etc. Be in front of your computer if you like, and what i want you to do is see my computer room. I want you to see yourself standing behind me, what is to my right when you look, what is to my left? Can you see the door and the window? Tell me left or right, behind..etc.

I know it can be intimidating at first, and might be "hard" at first to try, but you know what, just try it, nothing to loose here at all! Just write down what you see. Now remember, on the top right picture of my blog is me, make sure to look at me first, and then write out what you see.

As a quick update about the modem, its still working! lol. Looks like the one that they finally replaced is a good one! Thank goodness it was a different brand then the one that kept kicking the bucket!

Getting really frustrated!

I got home from work last night, and my Sister in law informed me that my internet wasn't working again! I walk into my computer room and the darn modem is flashing AGAIN! This is the same thing that happened to me on Friday night, and on Saturday the Telus Tech said that the modem was fried and he gave me a new one. It was back up and running just to have it happen again on Monday! I am not impressed! They are supposed to be coming to my house today around 3-4pm to "fix" it again. Thank goodness my husband will be home to let the guy in. If this happens again within the next 3 months, I will be switching internet providers! This is totally unacceptable. I am right now at work accessing email here so hopefully can get some answered and organized!

In regards to yesterdays post, I had to have my mother post on the blog announcing the winner, "Isaac" with the answer of ONTARIO. This is the province where my husband was born. There were three people who got the right province and the winner was drawn amongst the three people. I will be contacting Isaac with how to access the email to claim your free psychic reading.

In regards to everyone else who participated, would love to hear your experiences, and what you tried, and how it worked for you. The people who guessed Quebec that was pretty darn close to Ontario, so would say "close". And for the people who said British Columbia, that is actually where my husband and I live. So that could be why it gave you a "yes" for that area.

below this writing is a map of canada. Its best if you can print this out, or google this (or any map of canada) and print it out. If you have no access to a printer, this does not eliminate you at all! You can use a piece of paper, and write out the name of the provinces of Canada (no this is NOT a history lesson! lol)

next, what you need is either a necklace with a pendant on it, that can dangle, or a roll of tape (off the dispenser) and a few elastics. For those who need to use the roll of tape and elastics, what you do is "tie" The few elastics together (3 is better) and then loop the one end through the tape, and back through the top of the first elastic, thus having the tape so it "dangles".

Over the map of canada, you are to ask "which province was Cheri's husband Dan born in"

Now you might want to do this for each province, dangle your pendant/chain or your tape and elastics, and have it sway....let it start to settle, if its a "connection" to that province it will say up and down, if there is no connection to that province the pendant/chain and or elastic/tape will swing in circles. This is also a psychic technique, it helps your spirit guides show you the answers as well as flowing the energy through you to show yourself what you should do. Disaster Diverted!

okay maybe not "disaster" but definitely would have been a complete inconvenience!

I worked quite a bit on Thursday during the day as I was taking my daughter to the Disney Princess on ice thursday night. I knew we were staying at a friends house and had no computer access. (event is 2 hours from my house and was over late!)

So friday morning, spent a few hours visiting my sister and my nephew and helped clean her house (she was having a house guest for the weekend and not able to do it due to the c-section) So my daughter and I pitched in! My daughter LOVES to clean the toilet! Funny, but she does a great job!

Anyways, get home around 3pm, and try to get to some emails, and guess what.. NO INTERNET!!!!! My computer goes on, but the model light flashes. After spending 1/2hour with Telus (My internet provider) on the phone, she mentions that she would have to send a technician to come and take a look, and next appt was MONDAY!!! ACK! I informed her I work from home, and that by them not coming till monday that she was shutting me down for four days. After talking to the manager, they said that they would "try" to squeeze me in on Saturday (today). She told me to call the number on Sat morning to inquire if I could be on the list and have someone come over.

I called 8:30am today and waited 45 MINUTES before a rep came on the phone. I gave them my job number I was given, asked if I was on the list for today, which he said that they are really busy and fully booked, but would try and squeeze me in. If no one came by 4:30pm today I would have to recall and be on the monday wait list :(.

Well the tech came by around 12:30pm, and determined it was my modem! I am not sure if anyone remembers, but about 4-5 months ago I had no internet for a few days, and it was the EXACT same problem! So gave me a new modem for nothing, set me back up. I thanked him so much for squeezing me in today, and he informs me that it was no problem as he didn't have alot of jobs to do today and says that Saturdays are really slow??? WHAT??? I explained how the tech told me how busy they were and it would be hard to get someone here, and he kinda chuckled. So in 20 min my Internet was back up!

So, just wanted to let you know what happened to me last night, I couldn't get any emails done and felt so "naked" without my Internet! lol

I think that I figured out the dream from the other night....

i know I was not sure that it was a dream as a warning or someone I needed to look for as being kidnapped, or perhaps a lesson from my spirit guides on how to bring someone who has passed over even stronger through than I do now, also that I would be able to hear them rather than with my mind.....

Well, I just started reading Sylivia Brownes book called " Psychic Children". I dont get to read much lately because of time, but tonight while my daughter was watching a movie I snuck in a few chapters:) Well I came across pg 12, where someone had written a letter to Sylivia of an experience she had with her son, and him explaining "the other side". In one of the points it says " We can see them sometimes in the shadows like when Dad sees a shadow in the corner of his eye". This sentence hit me like a ton of bricks. That perhaps my spirit guide Serlina was teaching me this. That perhaps I am ready for the next step of connecting with loved ones who have passed over. I am not 100% ready to try what she showed me and what I described below, as what if I can't send them "back" and they want to follow me around! lol. Okay, probably wont happen, but I think I want to find out more information before trying something like that.

So with this being said, I also remember something happening with my daughter about 1.5 years ago. Off and on she would tell me about my mom's house, and a room that she had set aside as a toy room for my daughter. Out of the blue she would start telling me that people were peeking at her from the walls. She at first did not seem scared, but just stated this matter of fact. I said "oh really", and would ask her a few questions and she would just say that they look at her, and leave it at that. I thought perhaps it was her imagination, and I never brought it up again. For the next 7 months she would bring this up again, same exact wording, same everything. It got to the point that at the end of 7 months and me not bringing up the subject at all, that she started to be scared to go in that room. This is when I told my mom about what she was saying, and that she would not go in the room period. Would stand outside of the room and just look inside and did not want to go in at all! I asked my mom if she could really be seeing someone, as I was not able to see them myself, and my mom did not pick up on anything.

The next day, my mom changed the light bulb in the room to a brighter one, one that did not cast shadows at all in the room as she was thinking my daughter was imagining things in the shadows. Well, after she did that, my daughter was not afraid at all, and would go in and out of the room and never after that point did she mention people peeking at her. I, like my mom, thought it was strange, but passed it off as an odd experience until TODAY. When I read that line, connected it to my dream and remember about that incident it all makes sense!

In response to comments yesterday and asking for my psychic tests (even if they do not include prizes) I will do my best to try and include something like that at least once a week. Perhaps every Thursday or something like that?

A dream of importance...or a lesson to learn?

I had the "weirdest" dream last night. Okay, I know being pregnant that it often gives women "crazy" dreams, but in reality I probably dream most nights anyways and its always the tricky part to know if its important, something to look out for, or perhaps tied in with something I watched/read before bed. Last nights dream, still has me thinking that its either important or a way to teach something that not only will help me, but others who wish to explore this type of connection.

It starts off with me at some smaller venue with a woman beside me to my right. It was not until this morning that I realized this woman was my "Teacher" or "spirit guide" Serlina. In my dream I knew her, and she was very wise, but I did not call her by her first name. Anyways, at this venue a woman was missing, a younger girl either teenage years or early adult. We were trying to figure out why she had not shown up to participate (she was a singer in the show). My "teacher" asked me to stand along this wall, against the one wall but facing another and just slightly forward. She told me to look at our shadows on the wall, and soon you start to see our shadows adding a third even though no additional people were in the way. There was another man to my left watching, but no where near the light. This person took form in the Shadow against the wall, and I said that he kinda reminded me of Patrick Swayze in the way that he looked (it wasn't him, just resembled him) this person in the wall started talking and I realized that this was someone who passed over. You couldn't really hear him with your ears, but almost like you could read his lips and "hear" In your head to an extent what was happening. He told me to involve the police. This was in relation to the girl missing. He specifically said "involve the police." I passed that information to my teacher, looking a bit shocked as I certainly never had this experience before, and she nodded her head in agreement.

I look over to my left and the man has since given up as I am not sure if he is too spooked, or just didn't see what was happening and left.

Well, once he left, this spirit stepped forward away from the wall. He appeared more solid, you could see more color in him and I could literally hear him with my own two ears. he explained that they don't like to show themselves to that extent when there are so many people around. That they don't want to frighten them.

He told me that there is a man named Dave involved with her disappearance, and that she was still alive, and I needed to locate her. It was then that the next thing I remember about the dream, is that I see this younger guy, again either late teens or early adult, and he is running. Is in obvious good shape, and that he is very athletic, and he appears to be running "home". Almost like he does this every day. This is when I realize that he kinda looks around to see who is watching and ducks into this cream/white colored Porshe. Almost like he did not want anyone to know this was his car, almost like he was pretending to just be out for a friendly type jog. I looked at the licence plate and it said "YES 866". That is how a BC licence plate would read.

The only other thing I knew during the dream was following him a bit, I knew it was an abandoned house he had her in, did know her personally and not just some random thing he did, and that she was not harmed, Tied up and held against her will, but not harmed.

So...is this dream something I should be paying attention to in the way of something happening or already happened? Something I am supposed to "inform the police" about? Or is it my spirit guide who is teaching me another technique (and anyone else who wishes to try) to contact loved ones who have passed over, and actually have them step forward more than just in the mind?

I believe that the girls name was sarah and she did have darker hair, I have been kinda watching the news just in case, but not really sure how to take the dream. I don't want to call the police and sound like a lunatic either though! lol.

I think that for the most part, for those who are interested in connecting with loves one who have passed over, the way to also bring them forth is to stand in a light and cast your shadow against the wall. Allowing your shadow to perhaps change and alter and turn into the loved one your trying to reach.

I also have a way that I found this morning for those of you wishing to "open" your psychic abilities. Imagine a triangle on your forehead with a closed eye (just one) in the middle of it, and actually see it open, feel the eye open. It will be smack right in the middle of your forehead. This should also help you open up your abilities.

I'm an Aunty!!! I'm an Aunty!!!

My sister had her son last night, born at 10:37pm by emergency c-section (babies heart rate kept dropping with each contraction - cord as it turns out was wrapped around his neck)

His name is Samuel and hes adorable! He was 6lbs 9oz and 19.5" long. Almost the same lenght as my daughter when she was born. Difference of .5"!

Baby and mother are both doing fine! I am so happy I got to be there for them when they brought the baby out to come and see us. My parents and their wife/husband were there, my sisters step sons, and myself and my daughter were all in the room waiting axiously for his arrival. I left home with my daughter at about 8pm, picked up the step sons 45min away and headed on into the city he was born in. All about an hour or just over. I made it just in time! When I got there they were just getting ready to wheel her to the OR.

Another storey of inspiration!

This is a storey from a woman named Stacie. Sharing her experience of ttc, the ups and downs. It just shows you that even when things seem to be at their worse, that everything happens for a reason, and you shouldn't give up! Here is her storey.

Hi Cheri, In January of this year I finally got the nerve to contact you. I had heard about your predictions on one of the web communities I frequent, but I was always a little skeptical that a reading would work for me. However, I bit the bullet, so to speak, and reached out to you for help and some inspiration. You had told me December, boy, and the reading hit home. I had just miscarried a baby (my first attempt at ivf) at the start of the month which was conceived in December. I can't tell you how much it meant to have something positive to focus on during all of the fertility treatments and disappointments. This month marks three years since we began our journey to have a child. I had thought it would be so easy...isn't that what they tell us? I don't know why things were as challenging as they were for us, but I do know that my relationship with my husband is stronger than it has ever been. Lets talk about strengthening the gifts you already have

I know some women and men are already aware of the gifts that they have, and some are just not strong enough, or perhaps now "dormat" from not being used.

The BEST way to increase or strengthen your gifts is to actually just start using them, practising. If your new to using your abilities the best thing to do is look online at the different types of psychic abilities and find which one interests you. You will naturally feel drawn to one particular form of ability and should start there.

When first opening up yourself to these abilities, please except headaches, nausea, and stomach aches. These are perfectly normal and to be expected and can last a few days to a few weeks. Dont panic!

What I have done, is located a site that I have copied/pasted from that I found to be very interesting, and perhaps able to explain it a bit better than what I could. It also links a few different types of abilities and will perhaps give everyone a better understanding of the different ones and give you an idea of which direction to head into.

Animal Telepathy - The ability to communicate with (but not command or influence) various kinds of creatures. Think "pet psychic".

Astral Projection - The ability to leave one's body and travel in spirit to another location.

Aura Reading - The ability to see the energy fields that emanate from living beings. Psychic ability can often reveal itself throught the seeing of auras.

Automatic Writing - Writing through the subconscious mind without conscious thought, or through the guidance of an outside intelligence.

Channeling - Associated with mediums, this is the ability to act as a channel or vessel for an outside intelligence.

Clairaudience - Put simply, this type of ability is used to hear what is "inaudible". For example, someone with this ability could be a thousand miles way and "hear" a loved one's cry of distress.

Clairvoyance - Usually confused with Precognition, this ability actually has much more in common with "Remote Viewing", True clairvoyance is not the abilitly to see into the future, but the psychic ability to see visions of that which is hidden or far away.

Clairsentience - In this instance the psychic has an insight or "knowing" of and a hidden or forgotten fact.

Divination - A broad term that includes fortune telling, precognition, prophesy, and other methods used in an effort to predict the future.

Dowsing - Also known as "water witching", dowsing involves the use of a rod, sticks, or pendulum to locate water or lost objects.

Empathy - The talent to sense the needs, drives, and emotions of another. As with Aura Reading, psychic ability can often reveal itself through the development of empathy.

E.S.P. - Extra Sensory Perception is the awareness of information about events external to the psychic that are not gained through the senses and not deducible from previous experience. Often used to describe clairvoyance, precognition, telepathy, etc...

Intuition - Similar to clairsentience, this is the power or faculty of attaining direct knowledge or cognition without rational thought or inference.

Levitation - The ability to cause one's body to hover off the ground. One of the more well-documented cases of levitation involved St. Theresa of Avila during the 16th century.

Mind Over Body - Suppressing or mentally satisfying the need for water, food, or sleep. There is some debate over whether this is actually a psychic ability since many of those who are associated with this trait (monks, yogis, mystics, etc...) are not generally called "psychics".

Precognition - Quite simply, "knowing the future". However, since time is a dynamic construct, no one psychic can ever know every detail about the future. Usually this ability refers to knowing general outcomes of specific courses of action, with occasional flashes of detailed insight.

Psychometry - Also known as "object reading", psychometry enables a psychic to pick up on psychic impressions (vibrations) left on an object by someone connected with it. Someone with this ability could use an unfamiliar object to reveal much about its owner.

Pyrokinesis - The ability to start fires with one's mind.

Telekinesis - Also known as psychokinesis, the ability to move objects with one's mind.

Telepathy - The ability to communicate mind-to-mind with another.

Note: In assembling this list of types of psychic abilities I have tried to include only those abilities which are of a true psychic nature. Precognition for example, is on the list, but "scrying" is not, as this is simply a method of precognition. Astrology and palmistry, for example are not on the list as these are subjects that can be learned, and do not require psychic ability. Similiarly, areas of magical study are also not on the list because I feel they have very little to do with innate psychic ability. This includes things like necromancy, arithromancy, and pretty much every other "mancy" one can name. Besides, if I listed one, I would have to list them all, and when you think about it, how many people really want to know about tyromancy (divination through moldy cheese)?

In regards to my sister, no news yet to report! Shes been "gelled" so we are just waiting to find out when the baby comes! last time I talked to her she was having small "cramps" so hopefully this is a good sign and that I get a phone call either the middle of the night or the morning to come and see my nephew being born! Send her labor vibes!

Open blog night?

Well, I am thinking of trying something new, and doing it on THURSDAYS. It will be this day that I post something that is important to everyone.

On Tuesdays I will ask for suggestions. What you want to know more about. Do you have specific questions you want answered, how to strenghten your gifts, connecting with loved ones....etc. This can be about ANYTHING you have questions about, I will try and answer quick questions in the comment section (so post your questions there and check for a response) and on Thursdays will cover specific topics that were brought up in the comment section on Tueday.

So perhaps one time will cover how to read aura's and open your mind, others to strengthen your gift, some to give you experience and stories...anything your intersted in.

An update about my sister, well, she is home from the hospital, the midwife gave her the "cocktail" to try and induce labor (her EDD is november 18) and the hospital has her on the induction list for tomorrow. Due to the pain in her kidney's they definatley want to induce rather than wait. They figure it they wait, her pain will be more, and she wont be in any condition to give birth! So hopefully in the next day or so I should be able to update with pictures of my new little nephew!!!

Blog contest as well as an update!

okay, lets start with the "boring" stuff. The update!

This weekend has been a bit slower for me. My sister (who has an EDD of November 18th) was admitted to the hospital on Thursday with what appeared to be severe kidney infection. They gave her antibiotics, and by Saturday night still no better. They said that she was 3cm dialated and the baby was at -3. Well they decided to increase her fluids in the IV to see if it would slow her contractions down (she was having them every 5 min) their reasoning was because if she had a kidney infection they did not want her to experience labor on top of the pain she already experienced.

Well it stopped the labor, and she spent from Thursday till sunday when they ruled out that there was no infection at all! we are thinking that the baby is on her kidneys or is some how affecting them. I snuck up to the hospital yesterday for a visit and also gave her the bottle of castor oil. She took 1 tbsp and NOTHING happened! Today they sent her home. She has asked to be induced, so is on the "waiting" list. The hospital did not have the room to induce her today. Shes still in severe pain, but figures being home is better than the hospital at this point. So its just a matter of time now before we find out when.! I am hoping not tomorrow as I have to work (today is a holiday) and I am the only one there, but I can always sneak out on Wed!!! lol

So with being a bit worried about my sister and on edge everytime the phone rang (I am an hours drive and want to arrive just before he comes out) I have not had as much time to focus on the emails, so please accept my apologies. Today is EXTREMELY windy, my cat is completely freaking out, the leaves are all coming flying off the trees and I plan on staying close to home!

When using your psychic abilities

its always a good thing to surround yourself in a "shield" of light. I find that whenever I am channeling and just feel a bit "unease" that I tend to use this technique to try and make myself feel more safe.

Most people when opening themselves up to their abilities are "afraid' of encountering "evil" or "dark". I can't say that this does not exist, but can say that you can avoid if you know how to protect yourself. I find that if your a positive person and try to focus on the positive that the chances of encountering dark energy is highly unlikely. HOWEVER there have been a few occasions where I have felt that I was "not alone" and really did not feel good with this particular visit. I think that there are some spirits who have yet to pass over that at times can feel the energy you left off when your in connection with your gifts. They mean no harm, more out of curiosity than anything, but its still not a fun thing to have.

Because I have great success in connecting with loved ones who have passed, there have been times I have picked up "negative" thoughts and I dont like what they are thinking. Its this time that I usually ask them to leave, or 'shield" myself.

There are a few ways of doing this, there is no "wrong" way and this can really benefit in MANY ways and an important start with getting in touch with your inner gifts.

First, try and make sure you have a spot where its not too loud not alot of distraction, You can pretty much do this anywhere. Sitting, with your palms up and eyes closed , I want you to see a light in your mind (let your mind pick any color, it usually knows what color will work best for you at that particular time, just first color to your mind use it, don't second guess) See it starting at your toes, and slowly going up over your legs, your knees, your hips..etc. Until you see it go over your head and finish you off in a "cocoon" of light. You can add any additional colors if you feel the need to. I at this point say "only goodness may enter me and only goodness may leave me'. You can change that to say "pure love" or use goodness. Whatever you remember better.

you can also do this with your house while in bed at night, imagine the light coming from underneath your foundation and going over the roof and encasing it in the light (again just choose any color) Most times I even do this to my daughter and my husband (even though my daughter is in a completely different room) And again, I just use whatever color that comes to mind and at times have been known to use one or two colors myself.

Its also at this point I also notice that the "negative" emotions I was picking up are gone, my mind is no longer thinking weird things like they were, and feel more "clear" again. You can do this once a day, a few times a day, anytime your feeling a bit "off".. its up to you:)

There are many uses for this light therapy and this is just the start, I will make sure to post more in the days to come, but lets start here. If you have any questions about how to do this, please post them in the comments section, i will get back to you.

can I whine? lol

Well, today was my "first" prenatal appt. I was supposed to go last Thursday but was bumped because the Dr had to make a hospital delivery during my scheduled time. I was really hoping to get to hear the heart beat today, he at first was not even going to try, but then said he would as long as I did not get upset if we could not hear it. He tried, we couldn't find it :( I know I am only almost 13 weeks, and most times can't be heard until closer to 14 weeks or higher, but still had my fingers crossed!

Today was a bit of an off day. I have been constipated (I know too much information! lol) because of all the milk I have been drinking (okay, I know, my own fault!) but finally was able to go and perhaps strained a bit too hard. Been slightly crampy today and had slight spotting. I am not too worried, as I spoted quite a bit during my pregnancy with my daughter so remaining positive.

I also have been suffering for the last week, a shoulder/neck muscle issue, that has been hurting, causing me to also suffer from headaches in my right eye as well. Makes it harder to type, and look at the screen, and finally resorted to using a heating pad, and takeing one tylenol if its really affecting me. This is the same area that I injured in a "slight" car accident 7 years ago) I was rear ended, but suffered bad whiplash because of how my head was turned when hit) So I asked my Dr for a referral to a massage therapist. Hopefully this will solve the problem!

I am having troubls with the update window in gmail, when you send me a message, your supposed to be greeted with an automated message. It should tell you which day it was updated, as well as which day I am currently working on. It had not let me update it since November 4!!! I tried to find a contact menu for gmail to get them to sort that issue out, but had no luck. Will try again tonight!

From the looks below, people seem to be very excited about the free tarrot readings. Trust me, will be well worth the wait. I was really impressed with what she told me, and hopefully everyone will experience the same experinece as I had with her. I am playing "hookey" from work today, this time telling them I was "pretending" to be sick. That way they knew exactly why i was not coming in but staying at home. And like my last post when I actually told them I was sick, and then I got sick the next day, I felt by being honest with playing "hookey" i might get to skip the karma and not be sick tomorrow! lol

I am online, its 1:14pm, and will be online till just over 3:30pm where I will get as much readings done as possible before picking up my daughter from daycare. Then I will be back on again tonight as well doing more readings when my little one is in bed:)

A storey of hope!

Here is an inspirational storey from Steph. I met her on todays parent and did a prediction for her. Although her ttc was a stressful journey, and had its ups and downs, there was certainly a silver lining to look forward to. This storey is to show you, that although what you may be up against seems "pointless" to continue and it seems "easier" to just give up, sometimes its the perserverance, that pays off in the end:)

"After only taking 9 months to conceive our first daughter, we were not prepared for the long road that fertility would take us down when trying for our second child. When DD#1 was 22 weeks old, I got AF for the first time. DH and I discussed TTC again and decided to get started right away as we knew that since I was 36, it might be harder to get pregnant the second time around. Little did we know that it would take 2 years. After TTC for 9 months, in May 2005 I contacted my OBGYN to have some testing done. I could not get in to see him for another 4 months so I went to my GP and got a referral to the Ottawa Fertility Clinic, knowing it would take forever to get in there. My OBGYN had all the testing done in advance that was required by the Fertility Clinic. I had bloodwork, hysterosalpingogram, ultrasounds, paps and a variety of swabs. Finally there was a cancellation at the clinic so our appointment was moved up to December 2005. In the meantime, I bought a ClearBlue Fertility Monitor (my best purchase EVER). Little did we know that when we visited the clinic, we were actually pregnant. Very Happy Christmas to us! BFP on Dec 22, 2005. I called the clinic to cancel our place on the IUI list but they said to hold off as they hate jinxing anyone. Good thing as on January 18th, I started bleeding. We had a number of ultrasounds done and the heartbeat was there. We were relieved. But on January 30th, the heartbeat was no longer and I had a D&C on January 31st. It was the hardest thing that my husband and I have ever had to live through. I spent weeks crying on and off. How could this happen? We ended up having an IUI done on March 17th, 2006 (all those meds and shots GROAN). It did not take. It was our last chance to have a fertility treatment as the clinic was moving and would not be ready to do more procedures until summer. While we waited, we tried the Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP) and I got pregnant again in late May. Again, I started spotting and this time my HCG levels never got off the ground. I miscarried again on June 6th. I was fed up. In July, we tried the SMEP one more time. We knew that we were on the eve of the 2 year anniversary of TTC. We didn't put much into it as we were in the middle of putting our house up for sale and finalizing the touches on the house we had built. Cheri told me "APRIL" back in September 2005. I thought I would have to get pregnant in August to give birth in April until someone pointed out to me that I would actually have to get pregnant in July. When this was pointed out to me, I knew right then and there that I was pregnant. I bought a Clearblue Digital test the next morning and there it was: +. To be honest, we never really believed that we would have that baby. I bled 3 big bleeds from week 5 to week 13. I had 6 ultrasounds in that time as I was a nervous wreck. I literally was making myself sick. Until I had that baby in my arms, I was not a believer. But here I sit with my 7 month old Megan in my lap while I type this (did I mention Cheri said GIRL!). She is VERY real indeed. And she was worth every minute."

Dreams can be important too!

I truly believe that for people who wish to get answers or guidance in their lives, that dreams are a link to ones soul. Not only can it help you connect with a loved one who has passed over, it can offer you insight into a problem your currently experiencing, and it can also connect you with your guides.

Not all dreams have meaning, but with practice, and the use of a dream journal, you will figure out which ones have meaning, and which ones just relate to something you had been thinking about before bed, or relate to a movie you just watched before closing your eyes.

Usually the repetitive ones are the ones you need to pay attention to, the ones that also have alot of vivid information. We all dream, just some of us seem to remember them more, all the details and information.

If your currently going through a tough time and looking for guidance, before going to bed, lay on your bed as if your ready to fall asleep and close your eyes. In your mind I want you to say " please provide me with the answer to "insert your question here" in my dreams and allow me to remember when I wake up. Saying this three times usually puts it in your mind enough that you will actually remember your dream.

Dreams always need to be interpreted. They never come out "easy" and always have to be translated to find out what they mean. I use www.dreammoods.com to try and interpret mine.

There is one dream that has been coming since I got pregnant this time. And I thought I would share it. As of right now, I have a feeling as to what it points too, but do not have confirmation as of yet if its "accurate" and almost scared to find out lol.

When my husband and I first started trying to conceive, I asked my daughter if she wanted to be a big sister. To this she replied "Sure". She then looked at me and said " you have someone in your tummy". (at this point I did not know that I was in fact pregnant) and I said "Oh really? Is it a girl baby or a boy baby?" And she said "maybe its one of each!".

Then a few weeks later, I posted on my blog about how I had a dream about my sister, my dad and my daughter going through these tunnels, and involving a waterslide. That instead of going down them as my sister was pregnant (shes actually due in 2 weeks!!) and I thought I could possibly, I had seen behind these glass doors, TWO pools.

A dream a few weeks ago, had me working for this company called "two spoons". It turned out it was a stripper bar (no idea how i ended up working there! lol) and if you wanted, you could do "extra" services for tips. I had just decided to stick with busing the tables, finish my shift and quit! lol. I remember that there was male waiters and female waters and it was geared towards both sexes (girl/boy)

Then a few nights ago, I had a dream that my friend trisha had given birth to twins. There was a boy there with light colored hair and light colored eyes (this is the same description of a boy I had seen even before having kids at all) and then she also had another little girl there with darker hair and darker eyes.

So lately, all dreams relate to TWINS, and one girl and one boy. I have no idea if they are "warning" me of the possibility of twins, or if perhaps my possible "Fear" that it might be twins is coming up in my dreams? I guess my fear stems from the fact that we planned on two only, and never even thought of a possible third! lol

So anyways, just thought i would say, that dreams can be powerful things. I know that people who have passed over also use this as a means to communicate. To show you that they are okay.

I was not able to use the computer last night. Sunday night are very hard for me to get tons done as they are usually more family oriented. I will get going on them today and tonight and get as much done as possible.

Further developing your own "gifts"

I have mentioned in numerous posts in this blog that we all have psychic abilities. Each person will find that there strenghts are usually in different areas. Not everyone is able to connect with someone who has passed over, not everyone is clairaudient, but they CAN be. The thing is, you are going to be stronger in one area at first, and with practice, determination and the use of your "gift" you will be able to open up alot more "doors" and either add new gifts to strengthen and use, or being able to use your strongest gift to its fullest potental.

A client of mine, recently asked if I would post on my blog ways of people opening themselves up to their own gifts. What I have done is located a site that basically explains exactly where I would have started off with, and would be beneficial to anyone wanting to explore their own abilities.

Just to let you know, that when first opening yourself up to your own psychic abilities, its normal to experience headaches, fatigue and nauseousness. These are all symptoms I experienced for the first 3 days after opening myself back up. I will try to post things like this frequently to help guide people on opening themselves up to use their own gifts to help others.


Everyone is psychic. What a person can or cannot do is not an indication of your true abilities. However intuition is interesting. The more you listen to it the more feedback it will give you. Therefore, you really need to practice trusting your intuition, paying attention to the way your unconscious mind tells you information. For some it is a simple knowing in the quiet moments of meditation. For others it may be a gut feeling or a body sensation. The unconscious mind can use any of your senses to communicate; these include the five following senses.
Vision this involves isolated images or symbols you see or it can be more detailed images of clairvoyance or remote viewing.
Hearing also known as clairaudience, involves hearing words or sounds in one ear and not the other. This can be scary for those who are not familiar with it as hearing voices is traditionally a sign of insanity.
Touch is probably also considered clairsentience as it is a feeling intuition as physical body sensations.
Smell can also give psychic information whether simple or complex.
Taste although far less common than the other methods, it has been known for some psychics to get a taste in their mouths when interpreting psychic information.

There are many ways you can practice using your intuition. Some are listed below.
Traffic: If you live in a city with frequent traffic reports try to guess which roads are bad and why. This works even better if you have two routes to get home, each with an equal chance of having delays. You can guess which roads to use to get home faster, and then listen to the traffic report. It is not helpful if one road is always bad, because then logic takes over.
Shopping: Without checking the adverts try to guess what you are going to pay for something and where the best place to buy it is. Afterwards check out the facts.
Parking: Try to let your intuition guide you to the best parking space. This is particularly useful during the holiday season.
Telephone: See if you know is on the telephone before you pick it up.
Sports: Without knowing anything about the game or the teams try to guess who will win and what the scores will be. Then check out the results.

The trick is to find something you care about, or something you cannot know for sure based on past knowledge and experience and you can get feedback on. Then pay attention to the difference in feelings between that which proved to be right and that which proved to be wrong. Take notice if you have ignored your intuition and see if you later regret not acting upon it, be aware of how that information came to you so that next time it happens, you do not ignore it.
Learn to listen to feedback from your body on the psychic hits you get. One of the best psychic development techniques is learning to tell when you are getting information that is right or wrong.
Work on issues you hear all the time that you rarely act upon. You have to work on your psychological baggage; I cannot emphasize this enough! All information is accessed and processed through the unconscious mind. If you have issues and you do not want to look at them you will find that the psychic information you receive will be distorted. Many people have found they are blocked by the spirit realm because they are unwilling to tackle their own issues.
The more you trust your intuition, the more information you will receive. This knowing will become more and more definite and you will want to pass this information on. If you believe you have information for someone, be ethical. There are stories of many psychics who have been said to loose their powers because they abuse their gift. It is impossible to say how true this is, however, if you do not lose your abilities, you certainly run the risk of other difficulties. Always get a persons permission before you give out information as without their permission you could place yourself in big trouble and in extreme cases criminal prosecution. Be ethical, be considerate. Always ask for permission before you give out information to someone. Never promise what you can not deliver, whether it is a sure-fire investment or the spirit of someone’s long lost grandfather. Honesty is the best policy in this line of work. Remember, everyone has days off and it is no different for psychics, you need to break away for a day to recharge your energy levels.

Key points to remember
If you find yourself wondering if you are crazy, it probably means you are sane. People having an initial psychic opening often start their conversations with lines like “you are going to think I am crazy but” or “you are never going to believe me but”. The mere fact that you doubt you own sanity is a reassuring sign that you are still in touch with reality, you are simply trying to figure it out.
The issue is not whether you are hearing voices, but what those voices are saying. There is a rule, “if the voices are helping you then it does not matter”, whether those voices are a part of your unconscious mind or spirits, it is alright to have them around. However, if the comments are destructive, negative or hurting you, then it is time to lose the source they coming from.
The hard thing you need to learn is what not to say. You can receive a lot of information that is better left unsaid. This is probably the most difficult thing to learn, because it requires good judgment which sometimes only comes with time and practice. Some psychics claim they say everything that comes to them. In these cases I suspect their guides are trying to filter the information before it gets to their mouths. However, for most of you it is wise to consider what might be helpful (if you can word it right) and what would only be harmful, whether true or false.
It is important to live in the present. You may be vividly aware of past lives and you may be able to slide mentally into the future. However, you are living in the present and that is where you need to focus. Most people forget their past lives for a reason; they have past and that is where they belong. The future will take care of itself if you remember to focus on the present without being pulled off balance by the past.
When you first start receiving information or seeing spirit it is very hard to switch it off, however, this is something you must do. It is common when you first start to open up as a psychic, that you will see colors or images (especially faces) at night. This is partly because of the normal shift in consciousness that occurs as you fall to sleep or are waking as it increases the ability to sense things. To some extent, this is normal.
As you begin to trust your intuition and the information you receive you will find it hard to switch off. Turning off your psychic gift is something you have to do or you will suffer from information overload.
Imagine your sensitivity to psychic information as a number on a control screen in your mind. Then visualize that number going down, decreasing until you are no longer aware of psychic information. In the morning you can always reverse the process and return the number back to where it was before.

Sometimes time is all we have

I did a reading with someone the other day named Leeanna. She really wanted to connect with her father who had passed over. He unfortunetly suffered from an illness that eventually took his life.

Sometimes we wish if death is meant to be for a loved one, that it be quick and painless. That no one is left to suffer and wait for the coundown of their lives. Othertimes, we hope that we know soon enough, so that we may say our goodbyes. Say the things that have always been left unsaid, to reach out and remember.

Regardless of how much we do or do not have in our lives with our loved ones, cherish the time you have, make new memories and always tell them how much you love them.

In regards to my dad (deep breath) he is everything you explained him to be. I can not express how much my family and I miss him. When my father fell ill initially, my family and I had no clue what non-hodgkins lymphoma consisted of. We were tramatized to say the least. I was about to study abroad in Florence, and decided to move back home from Manhattan, cancel my abroad plans, and take a little bit of time off from school. Although, my father lived six years after his diagnosis..I am so glad I did what I did. My siblings are all married with children, so I was able to do extra-special things, i.e.: when he was very ill the last year or so, every morning after my mother woke up to make him breakfast, I would hop into bed with him and hug him from behind...he would put his arm over mine, grab my hand, and just hold it and kiss it and tell me things from his heart and I would do the same. Sometimes I would lay in his lap as if I were 5 and he would rub my head and he would tell me how much he loved me. When he was hospitalized I took a leave of absence from work to stay with him and my mother in the hospital...and on the nights he was feeling better, we would eat pastries or something he would enjoy, watch poker, and giggle. (FYI: my ex, David and my father were very close, my father called him son and undoubtedly treated and loved him like one...and David the same. We both chose to live at my parents house, rather than the one we bought 2 1/2 years ago to be with my father as much as possible.) Well, with all my babbling maybe there is a lesson I can teach...my fathers sickenss, suffering, and death taught me that you must always do what is in your heart. School will always be there, a job is just a job at the end of the day...and is replacable. Spending every moment with the ones you love, whether sick or not is what makes life worth living. I have extremely fond memories of my father from the age of 3, but when I think of him I tend to think of the laughter we shared in the last 2 years...the years that I changed my direction to be with him...I contemplated taking a leave of absence from work because I did not think it was the responsible thing for me to do...when I think back now, I think "thank goodness." I can not express enough how TIME is what matters most and nothing is ever more important than the time with our spouses, our children, our parents, and our friends that are family.
