Open Blog Night - FAQ About Giving a Reading

I know that some of you are interested in doing readings for others, or even opening up your own gifts your yourself and loved ones. I have located this information online and thought others might be interested in reading it as well. I did not write this, but do agree with what is written:)
If you have any questions about what this is about, please leave a message in the comments section and I will do my best to answer them for you:)

Q: Why can't I read for myself?
A: Some people can read their own time lines, most cannot. You will be influences by your own emotional needs.

Q: How many times can I ask the same question?
A: The first answer received is correct
Q: Is there a particular way to place the cards that is best?
A: After a while you will find a way that is comfortable for you. With Tarot most prefer the Celtic Cross.
Q: How seriously should I take my readings?
A: You bring forth information. There is still free will. The person will decide what to do with the information after you present it. Being a psychic reader is truly a major responsibility as you are helping souls find / shape their destines. This is not to be taken lightly.
Q: Does being a psychic reader make me spiritual?
A: No! I have found that the way you live your life makes you spiritual. Many people who are spiritual never read for others. I have found that all spiritual people are psychic- but all psychic people are not spiritual. They just seek answers. There is no right or wrong.

Q: If I get a feeling of death or serious illness around someone when reading them, should i say anything?
A: If you are a beginner, NO! Do not get into very heavy issues.
Q: Are time frames accurate?
A: Mostly they are general. As spirit does live in space / time they usually will not give exact dates. When they say "soon", they can mean in five years.
Q: How should I know when and how much to charge?
A: There is no set fee. Some people read for free. It is OK to charge though. Start low and the right price will find you. Spirit will guide you. Many people who love your reading will tip. When I start to get tips after each reading, I know that spirit is tell me that it is time to raise my prices.

Q: What happens if the time passes and my predictions never comes true?
A: "Free Will" could have altered the time lines. Other situations and people could have altered it. Don't take it personally. There are many factors at play now in the universe.

Q: What should I say someone asks me to use my psychic gifts to change their destiny?
A: Say NO, bad karma for all concerned.

Q: Can I change my set of Tarot cards from one brand to another?
A: Work with whatever feels comfortable

Q: Can I create my own oracle of divination?
A: Of course. Many people do.

Q: Can other people listen to the reading I give?
A: That is between you and the client. I do all readings in private. I do not like the influential energies of others in the room.

Q: Will the quality of my readings improve?
A: Yes! As you open up more you will become more clairvoyant and clairaudient to a point where you only use the cards because people think they are a necessary part of the reading.
Q: Will I get weird sensations related to the reading - chills, flushes, pressures in chakras?
A: Some people do, the sensitives. Others don't!

Q: Can I read someone while talking to them on the phone? In a chat room? Email?
A: Yes. You are taping into their frequency! Go for it!

Q: If I read by phone should I get paid first?
A: Always.
Q: In person?
A: Whatever feels comfortable. I wait until we are finished.

Q: Can anyone learn to read?
A: Yes

Q: Would you suggest people try?
A: If they are balanced, yes. If they are emotionally trouble that will reflect in their readings.

Q: What if the answers are not what the person wants to hear?
A: State them anyway. The person will then walk away feeling that you are inept. So what! No ego stuff here! And no arguing! If the person is unbalanced, don't read them. You do not have the skills nor experience to know what to do. They will make you feel inferior so you will question your talents. Don't let a dysfunctional person do that to you.

Q: Can I read better for some people than others?
A: Some people build walls either because they want to challenge you or out of fear as they have deep secrets. If you feel they are too blocked for you, just stop. When I get into this situation, I see the walls, I knock the walls down psychically then read. I also tell the person what I have done. You can also tell the person that you are there to help them not challenge them. Therefore they should shape up or leave!

Q: Do I read better, more clearly, on some days than others?
A: Yes. It depends on the factors in your life.

Q: Is it easier to read some people better than others?
A: Yes. Some people you may not be able to read at all. It is all about tuning your frequency in with theirs, like tuning into a TV or radio. Some stations are beyond your range!

Q: Are women better readers than men ?
A: There is no discrimination due to gender, race, age, sexual preference

Q: Can predicting something in a reading, allow it to manifest in the physical?
A: Only the people involved with the event can make it manifest into third dimension. The psychics I know, who see death and destruction, are never happy about their visions or dreams, but usually have no way of stopping them. These visions usually manifest within a three week period [three=3D]. Many people may dream about an event, or get a message about it in meditation, (usually about a tragedy), but they will not be able to prevent the event from occurring.

Q: If someone asks me try to manipulate the outcome of the reading, occult stuff, should I say No?
A: Do not read someone who is looking for you to manipulate anything with spells, rituals, or anything like that. Many people come from backgrounds that encourage psychic manipulation or attack, voodoo and such. Avoid at all cost.

update - going to be one of those days!

This weekend was fairly good. I like to get together with some friends of mine once in awhile and we go out for dinner and then go to the one girls house and make some cards. I like making cards or even scrap booking, so its nice to just go out and have some fun, since its not very often we get to do this. My MIL watched our daughter for the night so she could have some quality time. Its still not much better with my relationship with my MIL. Not sure if everyone remembers about our big spat right before Christmas. Things are just kinda left unsaid at times, and perhaps that's better. I tend to avoid her when I can, and only deal with her a limited amount. She even told me about 2 weeks ago that I was getting fat:( She was pointing out how Dh's cousin who is due in march, is carrying out all front and does not even look pregnant from behind and then says "not like you, you seem to be gaining it all over!"

I could not believe my ears. I was 21 weeks pg at this time she said it, she even had me stand with my back to my dh so she can point it all out. I was mad. I even explained that if she saw me naked (which she NEVER will! lol) that at this point I have gained it in the front only. Not saying I wont gain it on the sides or get bigger, but at this point, this is where it is. Explained I was wearing a friends maternity pants, because at 21 weeks and 2 days was the first day I could no longer wear my REGULAR clothes!

here is my pic at 21 weeks!

Anyways, as you can see, she still rubs me the wrong way and its really hard to not take some things she says to heart, and rather just walk away. When she calls, I literally don't answer the phone and this is really hard for me, as I ALWAYS answer the phone! lol. So its a lesson I am still trying to deal with on where she fits in with my life and how to deal with her.

I've been really tired lately, which i guess is to be expected. I am completely ready to just go off from work now, but committed to staying at least until the end of April, so will stick to that. Would hate to leave my co-worker in the lurch with not the proper training to completely take over.

I have been pre-scheduling the predictions, so that everyone knows when to expect their completed reading, so at this point, I am still working on schedule, not behind with the dates that have been promised, and hoping in the next 3-4 days to actually be ahead of the scheduled dates. I do the majority of my predictions at night, usually from 9pm till 11pm and sneak in while i am at work from time to time if its slow (like today)

Its snowing presently where I live, we are expecting to have at least 10cm tonight, and right now, its got light flurries. So hoping that we get 10 FEET and I can call in "sick" to work tomorrow! lol. For those of you that know, I am in Canada, but on the west coast, and getting anything more than a few inches is very uncommon, so the call for 10FEET I am sure will be impossible! lol.

Anyways, if anyone has a inspirational storey they would like to share with Wednesdays post, I do trade a prediction bypass portion (8.00 Value) for any stories that are posted. Just email cheri22@gmail.com with "inspiration" in the subject line. Can be anything about life and does not have to do with just trying to conceive.

As well, tomorrow is "open blog night" so if anyone has something that they would like to know more about, whether its to do with opening their own gifts, or other things, just post them in the comments section of this post and will pick one for tomorrow nights blog post:)

Best wishes!

"Ask Jeni"

As mentioned previously, my friend Jeni is very good with knowing things about fertility. Not only about herself, but just seems to be well knowledged on this subject and has agreed to do "ask jeni" once a month.
She is NOT a fertility expert nor should you take her own opinion/advice she gives over that of your doctors. She is doing this to provide insight, hope and to perhaps give you another direction to look into when trying to conceive.

In the comments section, the first three people who post questions for Jeni will be answered. I am not sure if Jeni will have time to answer any otheres, but will do her best, and will answer at least the first three. She will either have the comment/reply posted in the comment section, or if you prefer it can be done through email (leave your email address)

I will announce the winner for yesterdays blog contest later tonight!

Blog contest - Connecting with loved ones who have passed on

Well, tonight I am posting a bit late for the contest to win a two question tarrot reading by brooke777. Normally I would like to have this posted earlier in the day so that people have more time to participate, but today has been an otherwise busy day for me, and I feel tired, so wasn't able to get it done till right now. With that being said, I will leave the contest open from now, until 3pm Tomorrow before posting the "ask jeni" information... In that space will also announce the winner.

Todays contest is about learning how to connect with loved ones who have passed over. There are many different ways of doing this, and can be done on how your most comfortable with. When i do it, I make sure that I am in a room without distractions, I ask the persons first name of who they wish to contact, and then just start typing out a "memory" as if I had known the person all along. Giving personality information, giving description of looks, certain aspects. I can't control what is given, and can not prevent if someone sneaks into the reading and comes in first. Little information, sometimes tons of information, really depends on how determined the loved one is to come through and what they have to say. Its all about interpretation, on what images/feelings and connections you are being shown and does take practice.

With that being said, although this challenge is more "difficult' for some, everyone who participates will be entered in the draw for this reading by brooke777.I will also allow one person to win a sibling express prediction from myself, so thats TWO Winners for tonight/tomorrow!!!

here is how you participate. As usual, you need to leave your answer/information in the comments section of this post. Your first name and an email address to contact you with.

The person I want you to try and bring forth, is my own grandfather JAMES. He should come willingly, not because I have asked him to or anything, but because I know that he is around sometimes and should be easy to pull through. I am not going to tell you what to ask him, just ask him to come forward, and then tell me anything you see/feel connected to him.

As mentioned, there is no wrong way to do this, and EVERYONE who participates from now until 3pm (Pacific standard time) will be entered into the draw to win one of two readings being offered up tonight:)

As mentioned previously, the blog comments section is "moderated' due to some recent spamming of some wierd guy, so if it does not show up right away, just check again later, I will publish the comments as soon as I can:)

Good luck!

PS, dont forget, tomorrow is also "Ask Jeni"!!

Shhhh......I've got a secret......

okay, its not really just a secret that I know, but I am sure that there are countless others that already know "the secret", and just felt compelled to share it with all of you, for those who have not really understood what the hype was all about, or even bothered to look more into it.

I have been doing "the secret" even before I ever even heard of its existence. Its basically using the laws of attraction, and having things come your way. Does it work? Yes, it does. Positive thinking is a very powerful thing as is mind over matter. I know some people might think, well if I want a car, and i see the car, and I envision the car, where is it? Well, as you know, we can't always have what the want, but there are always things that will try to happen for you in order for you to get it.

I really believe that things like this can also help with conceiving as well. I use positive affirmations with most things in my life. From getting a particular job I really wanted, to having money come in when I need it. I even posted some positive thinking excesses to be used after having intercourse for conceiving purposes. It really does work! I conceived BOTH TIMES using this method. I know other things are factored into this, but if you could just turn the tables in your favor even slightly, wouldn't you give yourself all the help you can get?

I think that thinking negative also does the same thing, so ask that while ttc, dont think about "oh I can't conceive' because its taking you longer than you expected. The more negative wording and thinking you use, the more your body responds to your messages.

I know along time ago, when I didn't want to work, I would get myself feeling "sick", headaches, feeling nauseous, and was able to tell my boss I wasn't feeling well and wanting to go home. It was to the point that I really was feeling sick and just needed out of there. When I left, started home, I felt fine. All symptoms gone! Mind over matter.

Our lessons in life will always remain the same, what is not set in stone, is how we get there.

What I have done is put a youtube clip on the lower right of this page, where you can click on it, and view the youtube videos of some of the secret. The biggest suggestion is to either rent the video (libraries have this) or read the book!

If you have any questions about this at all, post in the comments section and I will try my best to answer them with what I know and understand about this:)

And dont forget!!! Thursday is the day to give away another reading from Brooke777 (2 questions done by tarrot reading) and Friday is "ask jeni" where the first three people to post their questions in the comment section, will be able to expect an answer from Jeni. Shes not a fertility expert, but is someone who is VERY knowledgeable in this field and will answer your questions to the best of her ability, or point you in the direction you need to go to find the answers.

A Storey to Inspire

As we all know, the trying to conceive journey can take many different paths in our lives. From being really quick and easy, to unfortunately taking years for others and facing many difficulties and heart aches. For each person it will be different, and each person will experience a different lesson with each time. Its always good to share your stories, to inspire others and to pass any information you have on to people so that they might take a better start and be more prepared on their own journeys.

With that being said, I have received a storey of inspiration from Catherine that she has said i can share. Perhaps for the women experiencing similar journeys as she did, will give you the insight and hope to continue to believe in yourself and be positive.

Catherines Journey starts here
"I arrived home feeling like crap. I was tired, and started having cramping and my arm pain was worse. 2 hours later I felt a pop and ran to the bathroom and started gushing blood. The doctor said I would bleed but to make sure it wouldn't get out of hand, like 2 pads per hour, come to the hospital. It was even worse than that. I couldn't even leave the bathroom. There was blood all over me and my bathroom. I called my husband into the room and told him it wouldn't slow down. He called the hospital right away and they told me a doctor would call me. My husband decided not to wait. He was trying to not let me know how bad it was, and just got me some fresh clothing, got me dressed and put me in the car. We finally arrived to the hospital within 10 minutes. I had already soaked clear through 2 pads I was wearing, and my pants. I was honestly walking into the emergency room gushing blood on there floor. And you know what? They told me to have a seat. I was so angry. How can they just make someone sit down in the waiting room, who has just put so much blood on your floor walking in?So I bled on their emergency room floor, their chair, and then on their chair making sure my 'insurance' was in order. They finally came to get me 10 minutes later, and took me to a room, stripped me down, threw out all of my clothes and basically let me bleed for a bit. The doctor came in and did an exam and told me I had so much stuff left that I would be bleeding out like this for a long time. They needed to do a D&C right away. I finally consented to it. I didn't want surgery but I had no choice. They put me in a room upstairs. A doctor came in to explain everything, took me to surgery, got me ready and knocked me out. I woke up feeling incredibly empty. At least naturally its slow but a D&C makes you feel the loss a lot more. You feel like something is stolen from you. They ended up discharging me 4 hours later. I rested for 3 days before a follow up.After seeing my doctor and explaining to him what happened over the weekend, he checked my records and tests and left the room. I sat in a chair while my husband paced at the door. Then he stopped and started listening. His face grew angry. I asked him whats wrong. He told me the doctor was in the next room with an open door complaining and arguing with the fact that he is not getting paid for my D&C. This made me cry. How could someone be so careless to anyone's feelings like that? I just lost a child and he cares about is whether or not he gets paid for that!? My husband got very angry, called a nurse and told her everything. We complained and left the doctors. We got home and there was already a message on our machine from a women, who took care of any complaints. She apologized and said it would reflect on his doctorate. She told me from now on to go upstairs to see the specialist doctors for pregnancy. I tried to let this all go for a few months...
Then I got pregnant again in October of 07. I was feeling crappy for days. Headaches, and fatigue. My period was 6 days from then. I grabbed a pregnancy stick late that night. When I went in for a shower, I decided well its going to be positive whether its night or day, so I may as well find out. I didn't even finish peeing on it before it turned bright red. I called my husband in and showed him and he laughed at me for not waiting till morning LOL. But he was happy.
I called my doctor right away and they set me up for a visit with in 3 days. On that visit they were shocked that I found out so early I was pregnant. They said most women don't know till they are 8 weeks. I was measuring 4 weeks 5 days. They took my history and told me this would be a high risk pregnancy due to 3 previous mc. They set up an ultrasound and tons of blood work. I didn't make it to my first ultrasound when I started feeling some weird pain at 6 weeks. After 4 hours of it not letting me sleep, i called my doctor on call at 3am. He told me to come in right away in the morning. 30 minutes later he called back and told me that it was bothering him that it wouldn't let me sleep and to go the er right away. I grabbed all my things woke my poor drowsy husband and we left for the hospital. They took some blood right away and did an exam. They said everything looked great and in fact my levels were at 27,000 and my progesterone at 224! They took me in for an ultrasound. I was so scared something was going to be wrong that I was expecting it to be. As soon as they did the ultrasound the tech turned the monitor to me and said and there's baby! We got to hear the heartbeat at 167bpm. I was overjoyed. I finally got to see one of the baby's. They did some measuring and took me back to my room and said it was a bladder infection!
I went home very happy. I went for my doctors visit and they did their own ultrasound at 8 weeks. We got to see the little bean again and hear the heartbeat!
I was told to keep my ultrasound appointment at 10 weeks. I went in and we saw this tiny little baby jumping around everywhere! Doing somersaults and jumping off the walls. Just generally did not want to stay still at all!
I just had another ultrasound done, for a abnormality check. They can only do this between 11-14 weeks! They need to measure the fluid in the back of the head to see if there is anything wrong. I am not really scared that anything would be. Well that was last Monday. We got in to do the scan and baby was doing a headstand! Legs straight up in the air! Kicking! This ultrasound was 20 minutes long before the tech said, 'your gonna have to come back, I need the baby on it's back to measure' She laughed and said ' Your gonna have to have a talk with the baby!'
So I am assigned a new ultrasound date for Friday January 18th! I'm hoping this time the baby will behave ^_^. I also have a ultrasound scheduled for Febuary 18th to find out if it's a boy or girl. We desperately want a little girl the most. So we are praying!

Also, I have talked with my source named Jeni, and she will do once a month an "ask Jeni" where I will post the information in my blog, and she will try and answer fertility related questions. She probably will only be able to answer the first three, but the details will be worked out, and posted on the day. We are more than likely going to do the last MONDAY of each month and go from there. Again, jeni is NOT a fertility expert, but is someone who is well knowledge in this field. She might not be able to solve your fertility problems, but perhaps can offer more insight, or direction in this regards.

Open blog night - Am I dreaming?

I know in a previous post, I was sure someone was asking about dreams, and whether it was possible to connect with people in it. I know that its possible to connect with loved ones who have passed over, I know its possible to connect with your spirit guides while sleeping, but I am not 100% sure about being able to connect with another human being while sleeping and have both people actually remember it. I believe that dreaming is about the subconscious, about being more "spiritual" and open to these abilities. While awake, some people tend to fight their own abilities for various reasons, but when sleeping their spirits already know exactly what to do. I can't tell you how many dreams I have had about friends, and then something as happened. Its almost like "premonitions" but in dream format. Usually my premonitions happen within 5 minutes before the actual event, and I am slowly learning to interpret them as they happen and realize BEFORE it happens that it was a premonition before after it happening and then shaking my head at myself knowing that it played out just as I was shown! Happens to me more often than I would like to admit and its about trusting in it, and learning it, like it is with all gifts. its always a learning process.

I had an email from someone that had what could be a very positive thing and very excited to share it with everyone. Shes unsure of the outcome right now, but I am putting her in my thoughts and hopefully you all will as well that this turns out to be a positive outcome! This relates to a dream she had, and also hows shes been using the positive thinking exercises that I posted using the light to help prevent m/c. See below!

Hi Cheri, thanks so much for checking my connections for me! I just wanted to let you know that I have not miscarried yet and I had this amazing dream Thursday night. Hope you don’t mind if I share it with you! I started off the night (as I do every night) by doing the visualization with the ribbon of light and then begged like I have never begged before to the Mother aspect of God for healing and for the life of the baby. Sometimes I get signs but I always seem to misinterpret them. Then in the middle of the night all of a sudden I was inside my body and I could see everything but my focus was on my uterus and several sets of hands were moving very fast all around it. Then a collective voice (like many in unison, and in a monotone) said something like, it is all we can do, or we have done what we can, etc. I noticed then that the pain from the rupture in my uterus was gone. I asked what about the baby, and they replied, that’s up to the baby. I woke up then, and noticed the pain was still gone, so I spent quite awhile telling the baby how much we would love it and wanted to be its parents, etc. When I got up the next morning the pain was still gone and when I looked in the mirror I saw that 90% of the bruising/swelling/bloating from the surgery was gone – such a significant difference that I called my husband over to see (I had told him about the dream). My belly now seems to be expanding and looks like an early pregnancy belly. The doctors still have no hope for this baby but haven’t done any additional ultrasounds, but they haven’t come up with an answer for my belly except that my insides will move around after major surgery. I don’t know what to think. But I did get a lot of peace from the dream knowing this isn’t up to me. I do know that if this pregnancy, by some miracle, carries, I will have a c-section in July at 36 or 37 weeks. And the earliest we could try a FET is 6 months from now, which would be around July too.
Anne

I also finally have my web page updated thanks to my mom's husband. It should reflect more accurately what is needed to do a prediction, how predictions are being scheduled. so hopefully this helps make things more smoothly for everyone, and what they should expect. I am still working and cutting the time frame down. I usually have only 2-3 hours a night to complete the readings, the replies and the scheduling and will try and answer ahead of the days scheduled to the best of my ability. As of today, I am running as scheduled:)

As a reminder to everyone who are waiting on predictions, I am on the west coast so I currently go according to Pacific Standard Time. My predictions are usually done between the hours of 8:30pm to 11pm 6-7 days a week and more if I can work it in. If you are curious as to what time it is where I am located, my blog has a world clock lower right side. This will give you an idea if I have finally hit the sack or not! lol

Also check out the poll on the right side:) would love some feedback and its all anon:)

Unsure about ovulation??

A good friend of mine named Jeni is amazing when it comes to fertility and getting pregnant! Although shes no expert, would say that shes very knowledgeable, and seems to know quite abit about the subject! Through her helping another person, she gave me some information that she has said I can pass on to everyone else, in the hopes that someone else might find it useful.

I might start once a month doing a "ask Jeni" blog post where people can ask her fertility related questions and she will pass on the information she knows (please note, she is not an "Expert" and does not have any fertility medical training, she learned alot through research and is very informative)

here goes!

First thing's first: Your body gives you signs of ovulation. As I see, you have tried BBT and have not had a lot of success at it. BBT charting ONLY WORKS IF you do it at the same time each morning faithfully. It took me a while to gather the info I have and use it properly through research. Here is what I know after 18months TTC:

Signs of ovulation are as follows:
1.) Basal Body Temperature. Before ovulation, your BBT will stay lower. AFTER ovulation, your BBT will rise 0.4 to 1.0 degrees and stay above what is referred to as the "coverline" for 12 to 14 days. This 12-14 days is the Luteal Phase of your cycle after the egg is released and Progesterone takes over. At the end of the luteal phase, your BBT will drop because of a reduction in progesterone and your period will start. (Some LPs can last as long as 16 days)

2.) Cervical Mucus. As you approach your "fertile phase" of your cycle (5 or so days leading to ovulation) your cervical mucus production will increase and become more thin, watery and stretchy like eggwhites. Once ovulation has occurred, your mucus will dry up and go back to sticky and thick. Like paste.

3.) Cervical height and opening. Prior to your fertile phase and after ovulation until your period starts, your cervix is usually Low, firm and closed. Some women do not like this method because it requires you to insert a finger into your vagina and feel for the cervix. It feels firm like the tip of your nose when you are not fertile, and can become soft like your lips closer to ovulation. In your fertile phase, your cervix will also be higher up in your vagina and open. This will feel like a "dent" in the center of your cervix that is more noticeable when you are fertile and having the eggwhite mucus.

Some women even get a "crampy" or "bloated" feeling near the ovaries as ovulation approaches. For more information on your menstrual cycle and tracking your fertility, refer to
http://www.tcoyf.com

On this website, you can try a free 15 day trial of Ovusoft software to track ovulation and purchase the program for a one time fee of 39.99 if you like it. This happens to be my favorite and the most helpful.

Try also to read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, MPH. This is the book the program is based on. You can order it online, but it on ebay, or even possibly find it at a book resale store.

As far as the Fertility Monitor and long cycles, you are right. They do not help women with a cycle past 40 days. Unfortunately, most people like to think all women have regular cycles.
My recommendation for tracking ovulation is LH Ovulation test strips. You can purchase ovulation tests online at
www.early-pregnancy-tests.com

You can buy the strips CHEAP compared to going to the store for 7 tests for 14$. Yikes. I bought mine in BULK, 25 or 50 at a time. I also used a product called PRESEED which is also sold on the site. It is a little costly for lube, but it is the only "Sperm Friendly" lubricant out there that actually helps sperm to be able to swim into the cervix. Some women have little cervical mucus production at ovulation and find that preseed helps. I am one of them, now 18 weeks pregnant.

ALSO, you may want to try Mucinex around the time of ovulation (7 days prior to 2 days after your first ++ OPK) Not only do the sperm need to be able to swim through the cervix, but they also need the mucus inside to be loosened up enough to swim through. You can take this based on the directions and drink LOTS of water. If you are near a Wal Mart, you can get their equate brand "mucus relief" and it will do the same thing as mucinex for just under 5$. The ONLY ACTIVE ingredient in these products can be GUAIFENESIN. Anything else will actually dry up mucus.

If you have been TTC for 12 months with irregular ovulation, you can also talk with your OB about a fertility drug-- Clomid. It helps to induce ovulation and is started at a low dose from day 5-8 or 3-7 of your cycle. They had to increase my dose to 100mg day 2-6 before I ovulated early enough in my cycle to conceive and "stick" as DH and I had 2 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy.

Blog contest....

Brooke777, has said that every two weeks (or more or less) I can offer up a free prediction from her to the readers of this blog!! Its a 2 question tarot reading about ANYTHING you want to know.

So to be able to win this opportunity, you have to use your skills, and be able to get the right answer. There might be people who get the same answer, and that is okay, but the winners who get it right, will have their name put in a hat, and drawn, as I can only offer one prize each time! lol

So, for tonights blog contest, you have to tell me what COLOR shirt I am wearing! lol.

Choices are:
BLUE
BLACK
WHITE
GREEN
RED
ORANGE
BURGANDY
MULTI-COLOR (pattern)

The way to do this, is to start off by looking at my picture on the top right corner of my blog.. and then "pull' yourself through to look at me. As if you were standing in front of me, and then look at my shirt. Answer with the first color that comes to your mind from the list above and dont second guess yourself.

This contest is open until 10pm pacific standard time where I will announce the winner. In the comments section, please post your first name and a email address to contact you with in case your the winner!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that....

Well the update for today, is that I have updated my website on the payments page. I have sent the information to my mothers husband in the hopes that before the end of this week he will have updated it to reflect the current situation in regards to getting readings, and to also make sure that people also are aware of what is needed to receive their prediction with less of a wait time. As mentioned in there, for the "basic" prediction i need to always know pregnancy number that someone is working on, and if they have had any loss. I would hate to 'assume' that I am working on first pregnancy, give them that reading to either find out that they already have that child and was just given the reading for them, or that they had a loss, and that the order has now changed. To ensure that my accuracy stays up as high as it is (85%) I need to ensure that I start on the right foot so to speak:)

I am now, when replying to notifications that have come in, pre-scheduling people with dates to expect their readings completed on. Not only does this help me plan easier, but also does not leave people guessing as to when its completed. I might have to include a reminder that I am on the west coast and in Canada, and work with Pacific Time frame:)

I also have confirmation from Brooke777, that she would be willing every two weeks to offer a free reading to the winner of a contest we will put on this blog. (just like previous) and will tie in to the Thursdays most likely...so just keep your eyes open:)

Due to a "spam" comment in a previous post, I have comments being moderated. So when hitting enter and your comment does not show up it will shortly:)

As usual, tomorrow is "open blog night" so if you have anything that you would like to have answered, or no more about, please post below in the comments section and I will try and get it included.

Opening your abilities

I was looking for a "test" that people could perhaps have fun with and find out what their strengths are in the way of their gifts, and I located this link http://web.tickle.com/tests/esp/?sid=2005&supp=search_esp_default_6&test=espogt

It has about 40 questions and probably takes about 10 minutes to answer, but the results are "fun" and give you a good direction to go if you want to increase your own psychic abilities.

I completed the "test" myself and this is what it said for me!

"Cheri, you have an unusually strong psychic talent in the area of Precognition

This means you have an uncanny ability to look into the future and anticipate what is going to happen. By knowing something's going to occur, you can even change the outcome of events for the better. Cheri, our in-depth analysis also shows you have other hidden psychic strengths including retrocognition (the ability to know what has happened in the past), telepathy (the ability to sense people's true thoughts) and clairvoyance (the ability to see the unknown). "

I would love to see what its said for other people! This site does make you sign up for a free account, and doesn't really do anything if you do, so worth it in the end just to see your results and how well you did:) Feel Free to post your own information on what it said for you in the comments section:)

okay, time for an update!!

As most of you know, I had my dr appt this morning, and they should have had the u/s results in from my u/s last Thursday. My husband was hoping for a boy, my daughter was insistent it was a girl, and depending on when you asked me, I would waver as to what I thought.

Previously, I had what I saw to be a vision, it showed me one girl, and one boy, the age gap between kids. The dreams i have been having during this pregnancy are ALL BOY dreams, where as with my daughter they were girl.

Last night I had a dream that I bought a photocopy machine, and ran my u/s pictures through it. When it came out on the other end, it brightened, you could see the child with lighter colored hair (as the same in my vision YEARS ago) and alot of teeth! lol. I thought that was strange for a baby, but went along with it. When you picked up the u/s picture, and turned it in a light, you could specifically see the "balls" of the baby. So again another boy dream!

Well, went to the dr and according to the u/s, they said its a .......................

GIRL!

Of course i have to keep in mind that its not 100% accuracy with the u/s, but if that is what he saw, or should I say what he didn't see that makes him say girl, then I will go with it:) and wait and see when the baby is born:)

So dh is slightly disappointed, my daughter is ecstatic its a sister, and I am happy either way as for me, it did not matter what it was, I have already gotten results back from the triple screen and u/s and everything is healthy/normal with the baby!

So as promised there is your update:)

A storey of inspiration

Lisa emailed me her storey of inspiration.... how things find a way to come into your life, may seem to be a bit unexpected, but also can help point you in the "right" direction in life when you were currently headed down a different path...

"I am 27 years old and have one very perfect daughter. I have learned that no matter what happens in life, things could have been worse. In August of this year I got really sick. I was sick for three weeks with a variety of different symptoms. After visiting with my Dr. three times in three weeks, she finally figured out that I had mononucleosis. Now imagined how stunned I was to find out at 27 years old I had mono. Three weeks after I was diagnosed with mono, I returned to work. I started feeling horrible again and thinking that maybe I rushed back to work to soon and the mono was coming back. Only to find out on Sept 21st that I was pregnant.

Now the first hpt I took was so faintly positive that I thought maybe it was wrong. So I waited four days and tested again. This time there was no denying that it was positive. I was very excited as I have always wanted another child but my partner did not. Anyway, an hour after my second positive hpt I started bleeding. It was very light at first and then got heavier. Two days later I found out that I was having a miscarriage. It was very hard to deal with. There were two sayings that got me thru those two months, that I would like to share with everyone.

1) God doesn't put anything on you that you can't handle and

2) Everything happens for a reason.

Those two sayings and my faith helped me get through everything without having a mental breakdown. What I went through was horrible and I wouldn't wish either one of my issues on anyone but, the thing is that both of my situations could have been much worse. First of all from what I have read mono can last from several weeks to several months and some people end up hospitalized. I was only down for six weeks. It was a horrible six weeks but it was only six weeks and I didn't end up in the hospital. Which I am extremely grateful for. As for the miscarriage, I was only five weeks along. I could have been much further along before I lost my baby and that would have been much worse. Or I could have already told my daughter that she was going to be a big sister and then lost my baby. I am very very grateful for the fact that it was an early miscarriage. It would have been absolutely devastating if I would have already told my daughter and then lost the baby. For this I am grateful. So not matter how bad things get try to remember it can always be worse. I try to find the positives in every situation, it's not always easy, but it helps

I think the best lesson I learned was that even through the toughest of times being positive does make things better. We have decided to ttc. We also learned from the m/c that we do want another child. We are in our 3rd cycle since my m/c.
Happy Holidays!!!

Thanks,Lisa

So in this case, Lisa and her husband had originally decided on only one child based on her husbands preference. With experiencing the m/c they were able to realize that their family was not as "complete" as what bringing another child into their lives would do, and so her husband changed his mind:)

I have said this numerous times, everything happens for a reason. You may not understand that reason at the beginning, but eventually it will be told/learned.

Happy New Year!!!

As I am sure that I have posted this in a few posts below, I think that 2008 is going to be a very good year for most people. I really like the fact that EVERY number in 2008 is an "even" number, which I do feel is very good:)

Funny about me saying this, as I was home yesterday morning and caught the last half of Sylvia Browne on the Montel Williams Show. She too said that 2008 was going to be a good year, because of the fact that "8" was even, and its a "mystical" number. (I think that is the word she used?) So looks like i am not the only one who sees good things happening this year and it excites me to be able to start it!

So for those of you who had a "bad" 2007, just you wait for 2008, things really pick up for alot of people. Just watch the changes!

On a side note, I know some of you have me on your facebook profiles and know that I am in "countdown mode" to know the gender of our unborn baby. Out here in British Columbia they will NOT tell you the gender at the u/s, if they do know the gender, they will write it in your chart and send it to your Dr, and then your Dr can tell you. So, the u/s tech said he was pretty sure he knew what it was, and would be in our chart. On Thursday is my next Dr appt, I should be able to find out then what it is!

I also wanted to say, and I know Brooke777 agrees (website linked below right) that when it comes to life and its twists and turns, the more "positive" you stay in any situation the "easier" and faster it is to get through it. This does not just go with any problems or issues that you currently face, but certainly relates to trying to conceive as well. If you start thinking negatively, worried that you wont be able to conceive, your body naturally "freezes" and follows along with what you think. So don't ever put on yourself "I can't" and truly believe that things will happen as they are meant to and that your CAN. Each persons lesson on how they get there are different. Sometimes conceiving a baby is very easy, and other times it takes what seems a very long time....Some of us need to learn lessons along the way while trying to conceive and just need to figure it out. Most times, its also to be able to help others in a similar situation to find the answers you have:)

Before closing this post, will leave you with some other information. I know that when pregnant (no matter how long it took to conceive) we all worry that we will m/c. Its a scary thing and probably has us all worried when there is blood (I bled off and on during my entire pregnancy With my daughter - who is now 4.5 years!) So I want you all to be positive.. and will post a way to try and "help" make the pregnancy healthy, and keep your mind from feeling worried!

You can do this either by laying down with your eyes closed, or by sitting in a chair with your eyes closed. Its best to have your hands either on your lap or beside you, palm facing up. You are to "envision" your uterus, and then seen a "ribbon of light". Just let yourself pick any color you would like.. See this ribbon of light going around and around and around your uterus, wrapping it completely and then tie it in a bow. Asking the light to protect and nourish your unborn baby.

I did this with my current pregnancy more than once. You can do it as often as you like, as it really does help, and also helps you to feel like your doing "more" for yourself...

As always, feel free to leave any comments in the section below if you have any questions.

I am still behind in responding, and working on having my web page updated by my mom's husband so that it reflects this information. I wish I knew how to write HTML and upload, as then I could do it myself! lol

Happy New Year!
