so who has tried the money technique?

I would love to hear from you!!! Anyone who has tried it, post here or email me with your experiences. Did you notice a difference? Has things come trickling in or pouring in for you? Depending on how you do it, and what your abilities are, the more it might come in stronger or weaker. Sometimes you have great strength in your mind and will be able to this better than others. Also depends on how much focus you put into it. If you "half arse" it, then your going to see it perhaps only be tiny bit, if you really focus it, and visualize it, then you should have noticed a better increase than "average".

So as promised below, anyone who participated and shares their storey (either by this post in the comments section or by emailing me at cheri22@gmail.com will be entered to win a 15.00 prediction bypass by me. So if your emailing, put MONEY in the subject line so I can easily locate the email, otherwise leave your comment here.

Its also time to give away a reading from Brooke777. So I think that to make this easy for this time, there will be two winners from this post, one from me and one from Brooke!

Good luck!

My little monkey

I try and give Carmin some tummy time at least once during the day, if not twice. I try and get her to lift her head, but right from the start, she seems to have more fun doing what is in the video! This is her at 8 weeks old, and she did this pretty much right from the start. Thought it was pretty funny and others might get a kick out of this too!

I miss my little girl :(

Well, my 5 year old daughter was invited to spend the weekend with my sister and her family camping from Friday to Monday. Its about a 5 hour drive from my house, to a place that I had gone with my family since we were kids. A great opportunity for my daughter as she loves camping and she loves my sister! I wouldn't be able to take her as I certainly do not want to go camping with a newborn !lol.

Well, the hard part for me was her being away for so long. The longest in her entire life, shes been gone is one night.. that's it. So for her being gone this long is really hard on me, and hoping that its not bothering her one bit. I think had she gone with anyone else, she probably would have demanded to come home, but I know shes with my sister and always has a good time with them so I am sure that shes not too homesick.

I tried calling my sisters cell phone to talk to my daughter and say that I love her, but the cell was off, and I don't think that they get good reception up there :( So here I am Sunday morning and really missing her like crazy, feeling slightly lonely as shes my little buddy lol. Can't wait for tomorrow!

I am going to try and get a pedicure done today. I haven't done that in like EVER and so need it! I am just hopping that baby co-operates. For some reason the last little bit, she ONLY wants me. Someone else will try and hold her and she will start to fuss at first, then start to cry and as soon as they hand her back to me, she stops. Last night, MIL was here for a small bit, held her and within 2 minutes she started crying. She hands her back and she stops within seconds. MIL insists its the breastfeeding pillow that I had baby resting on my lap on, but I really don't think that is it. I know that when they get older, they go through separation anxiety, but I never had this happen at this age (9 weeks tomorrow) with my first daughter? Anyone experience this before, or have any idea on what I can do so she will go to other people as well?

Does your money fly out the window?

Why not see it fly in instead? I think that you might all find this way of thinking to be rather interesting. It goes along with "mind over matter" or perhaps the "laws of attraction" and I really feel that this works.

Most people worry about their finances....always getting stressed with all of the money that they are sending out, that they have to pay, and can actually feel it doing just that. Often when you focus your energy and attention on something, it usually seems to get "worse" before it gets better. When you end up with a bill unexpectedly, you stress about it, next thing you know something else requiring more money appears.

Have you actually thought of thinking the opposite? Why not see yourself as a magnet, your standing there in whatever room you are in, and next thing you know, all of this money comes flying in the window and starts sticking to you and your covered head to toe in money! Look down at yourself with your minds eye and just watch it happen. You will be amazed on the results. Most times within a few days, you will see things start to happen in regards to money. Perhaps something you have been waiting for in the mail will show up the next day (a check) or the money a friend has owed you now is repaid. Even perhaps an opportunity will arrive, thus providing you with just that much more money.....

I want you all to try this exercises, and after a week of trying this technique, I would love to hear from you who this has or has not worked for you. Would love to hear your stories as I KNOW that this works!

If you have any questions about this technique or not sure how to apply it, email me at cheri22@gmail.com and put in MONEY in the subject line so I can locate it, and will do my best to answer your question. Those of you who participate in this and either email me or reply to this post with your experiences, will be entered to win a reading from me. Offering the sibling express (15.00 Canadian Value). Regardless of the outcome of you doing this technique, all replies will be entered to win. I will post another blog entry a week after this one looking for your experiences.

Oh Toto, I dont think that we are in Kansas anymore!

Okay, first off, I do not have a dog, and I dont live anywhere near Kansas, but I think that todays headliner should start us off just fine. I am not sure if everyone is familiar with Wizard of Oz, but the overall "theme" was that Dorothy was just dreaming and had a very vivid dream. I am sure that we can all relate to the times when you wake up remembering what you dreamt and start to wonder if it was a dream or something that really happened (like a memory of something you did playing out in your dream) because everything seemed so real.

I am not sure if its because of the lack of sleep I get lately (still getting between 7-8.5 hours but broken up) but my mind is constantly going during the night that I am wondering if I am even sleeping! The dreams I had two nights in a row left me thinking if it was a dream, or if i was actually "somewhere". Not like astral travel, but spiritually somewhere else.

The first dream I had, was me giving a lecture, helping others with getting their own psychic abilities on track, there was about 8 of us, and we were all sitting in a circle discussing things, and I started going over how to connect with your spirit guides and how I remember that experinece from Sylivia Browne's lecture, and lo and behold she speaks up! I dont know how I missed her, but out of the 8 people in our circle she was there plain as day. She started to add some other things to the conversation about spirit guides and we all listened. She also told me that its also about "balance" and that I needed to figure that out.

Now when I woke up, I knew what she meant. I have been literally feeling "burnt out" lately as I have been doing my readings in the morning, in between dealing with baby and still trying to fit my husband and daughter into all of this, not to mention the housework and anything else. That I needed to "balance" it out and not feel so rushed or worried about it not getting done. I literally have been "working" non stop and not really taking any 'me" time as well. So, I have started working things out better, planning if you will. Yesterday while baby was napping, I was able to spend some much needed time with my eldest. We played wii fit, we played mario kart, and I even was outside with her while she jumped on the trampoline with the water hose. Later at night, I took the girls out for a drive, and let the eldest dictate which way to turn. She ended up guiding us directly to her favorite place. Now let me tell you this was no easy feat! We had gone in a completely opposite direction to that, even I had no clue where we were, and yet she found it. I also do all of my readings in the morning now, rather than at night. I can't gurantee when the baby is going to be down for a nap, and seems that shes more fussy/alert from 9-11pm, which is when I used to do most of my readings.

So perhaps this will make me feel more "balanced" and that I am not neglecting anything.

The second night, I had a dream, my husband was out of town just for the night, I had a dream that he "allowed" another woman to share his bed in his truck (where he was sleeping) and I was FURIOUS lol. (now in real life, this would never happen! lol) Anyways, I remember being told and was furious, saying I was going to go and find him and kick him in the arse. The people who told me explained that he was not aware that she had stayed in there and was a bit intoxicated so it was not his fault. In my dream it just made me more mad, and I headed down to the river to go and find him and give him what for. Now when I get there, hes gone, I was told hes floating down the river and so I take off running down there. I get there, and instead I find my mothers husband and hes floating down the river (on an innner tube of some sort) and I am mad. I demand to know why hes floating down the river. (first off in real life he can't swim! lol and would never ever be in the river lol) and he tells me because he can, and hes going to do it for the next 3-4weeks. I was worried, and told my mother what her husband was doing, and again demanded to know how he could do it for 3-4weeks and wasn't she mad, and she said he has 3-4 weeks left of vacation.

So now this dream is really strange, and I always hate having dreams of my husband being "unfaithful" as I know it would NEVER happen in real life, so when I have these dreams, it always makes me feel angry in them, and then I wake up angry. Nothing like having a dream that pisses you off and feeling the anger when you wake up, usually ruins my whole day! lol, okay, not the whole day but certainly gets my morning off to a rough start.

I usually use www.dreammoods.com to figure out what my dreams mean, especailly if they are very vivid. Now the one I had the first night was loud and clear, so I dont have to look that one up, but in regards to the second one, I had a peek and here is what it says.

RIVER

To see a raging river, signifies that your life is feeling out of control.

ANGER

To dream that you are holding or expressing anger, symbolizes frustrations and disappointments in your Self.

A word to the wise...

when you in a hurry to leave the house, and you have your one daughter near the car, and the other one in the car seat on the outside of the door with you, ensure that the car seat is far enough away that you don't almost trip over her and send yourself flying! I put the car seat down, turned around for the door, started it to swing shut and took a slight step back. The car seat was too close, I almost tripped, and certainly did not want to land on the baby so grabbed a hold of the door frame to steady myself, just as the door came slamming down on my hand! I got the part a little bit below the nail on three fingers, instant bruise! I am pretty sure that they are not broken, but are bruised and very sensitive at the top (underneath is fine and I can bend them no problem!) So as long as I don't bump them against anything I should be okay, but what a dumb move! So note to self, move baby car seat AWAY from the door to avoid an instant repeat!

On another note, Ruby has said that I can continue giving away her readings for free, like I do for Brooke777, so I think that starting this Thursday I will start alternating the weeks, one week Brooke, one week Ruby. So keep your eyes open for the next blog contest!

Meet with your spirit guides........

In November 2006, I attended a Sylvia Browne seminar and was really excited to 'see' her for the first time live. I really enjoyed it and would have to say that the one thing that really made a huge impact for me, was her showing us how to meet up with our spirit guides, and to this day, the same image is in my mind of where we "met". So I would like to share this experience with you all, in the hopes that it will leave a lasting impression on your memory, so that you know as well that your never really "alone" so to speak, and that your guides and loves ones are there when you need them.

As with everything, you need to be able to have some time to yourself without any interruptions. You need to sit (or lay) with your palms facing up and feel relaxed. Your going to use a ribbon of light (any color you like) and start from your toes, and move upwards with your mind over your entire body. Don't rush yourself and take your time. Have it spin around each part like your wrapping yourself up as a gift. You can wrap your legs together, and move upwards, also wrapping your stomach (and your stuff inside if you remember) and telling yourself that your feeling relaxed and energized, that your feeling healthy and happy.. go all the way to the tip of your head. In your minds eye, your going to be at a clearing, and there is this nice manicured path. Its got alot of trees, you hear a creek or a river near by and seems to be coming from your left hand side. You notice that the path goes between the trees. As you start walking along, you notice that someone is walking right beside you on your right. You feel at peace knowing this person is with you and you look over. You will actually see your spirit guide, feel them close, seeing their clothes, their smile and feeling connected. Able to read their thoughts as they are able to read yours. You come through the clearing and on your left is a waterfall. This seems to be the meeting place you will have with your guides. Where you can sit and talk, relax, or just be there and enjoying your time. If you ask questions, you will "feel" the answers. Some of you might be able to "hear" them, others will be connected with images and feelings to answer their questions. Take note of your spirit guides gender, their clothes that they wear... This is your meeting place, you can come whenever you need guidance.

You can also do this when trying to rise above a problem that your feeling negatively connected to. By following the same meditation technique listed above, only this time you will actually come to a grass meadow (your spirit guide following closely to your right) and you will see this amazing hillside, its covered in a light purple flower, possibly lavender. The meadow is grassy, really deep green, and everything smells so fresh. You see a hill or a small mountain in front of you. You need to climb it, and stand at the top. This will help you rise above your challenge, and feel more at peace with what you need to do.

As always, if you have any questions about this, please feel free to leave a comment in the comments section of this post, or email me at cheri22@gmail.com and put in "spirit guides" in the subject line.

As I have mentioned previously, most times you have one significant guide, the one who follows you for all of your life, others will come and go and seem to relate to specific tasks. Mine, is Tomas, he is the one who I feel connected to since birth. He kinda is just "there" and comforting and seems to be the one that kinda holds back a bit, and helps when asked. Serlina is here to help me strength my gifts, and to help others through my readings, and to help them gain their own awareness. Shes got a very strong presence, and seems to just jump right in when she feels i need help and is always interested in helping. Tomas has curly hair, is light colored, he tends to wear more "Swedish" type clothes. I am not even sure how to explain it, its a light colored shirt, it has shorts with suspenders, and hes got white socks and sandals lol. Serlina has dark brownish black hair, very long, and is wearing a black lacy dress, appears to be similar to what a "gypsy" might wear? They always wear the exact same outfits, their hair the exact same. As for names, its what I feel connected to, so when asking your guide thier name, its going to be the first thing you feel connected to. Dont "force" a name or second guess yourself, even if your given the world "tomato" lol, its probably as close as possible to thier name, and they are not sure how to get you to interpret it. Feel free to shorten it, or give them a nick name, they dont mind:)

This is a bit of a "hot" topic!

For those of you who might be easily offended, you might want to skip this post! lol

Okay, so we all know that to conceive, you need to have sex. I also know that when trying to conceive, that at times it can take longer than we would like it to, and sometimes sex can be more about trying to conceive, then what it was meant to be when it was just us having fun and enjoying ourselves.

I really feel that sometimes when people are so focused on trying to have a baby, you lose a part of your passion, your excitement, and it comes down to that little eggie, meeting that little spermie instead. It can become more of a chore than something fun. I also know that with each passing month, the stress tends to go higher, the worry that you wont be a mommy, and then you tend to make it even more of a chore to conceive, scheduling it in, trying to convince your husband to just do the deed...etc.. I know that its not like this for everyone, but I am sure at some point or another this is exactly how it happens.

Now with trying to conceive, you need to have a positive mind frame, you need to feel good about what you are doing, and I have also read that having an orgasm right after your husband releases will often bring up the sperm even faster to where its "supposed" to go. Not to mention having more cervical mucous is always a good thing for trying to conceive. (check out my side links for more tips!)

So with this topic, for those of you who are interested in perhaps revving up the sex with your partner/loved one and getting it more fun while trying to conceive (and losing that stress you have added to it) why not bring in some "adult" fun that you guys can both use. Now this is obviously not for everyone, but I do feel that sometimes things you might find on this site, are good for both parties (male/female) and can re-invent the sex life at the same time as adding more fun into ttc.

My friend Krystal has a site and sells these type of things, and for the people that email her at hotnspicybbp@cableone.net and say that "cheri22" sent you, shes offering HUGE discounts that you can't get with any other company or in any store. Buy one at regular price and the other 50% off. There is NO kick back for me on this at all. There is nothing in it for me (other than I get the discount too! lol) From what i know, everything is discrete, no one will know you have ordered anything (if you wish) and mailed in discrete packaging as well so the mailman wont have that funny look on his face. (unless of course the package starts vibrating - then your on your own!)

Her site is www.brownbagparty.com/hotnspicy you can email her at the email above so she can give you the specific deal, or even answer any questions for you.

As for anyone else, that has an offer/discount to the readers of the blog, if it helps with ttc or releasing stress or being positive, I dont mind posting/writing about it as long as it fits in with what I just mentioned (positive and stress reducing and hopefully connects with babies and ttc - just email me at cheri22@gmail.com and we will talk)

Looking for love?

For those of you that are still trying to find mr or mrs right, this post is for you. There are many times when you are looking for them that you often find that they just are not "there". Most people often worried about being alone and sometimes making the wrong choice just to try and fill that void (yes melissa, this is also directed at you! lol)

I am sure that we have all heard before, that sometimes when you stop looking for love, love will find you. I really do believe that this is true. For me, when I was 16, I told my two best friends that I would marry a man I met in the bar. I did exactly that. At the age of 21, I met my now husband at a bar. We dated for 3 months before losing contact. I was devestated as I really felt him to be the one. 3 months after our last meeting, I met him AGAIN in the same bar, same night of the week, and I was not "supposed" to even be there that night.

I have dated my fair share of "Mr Wrongs", but it was when I was relaxed about it, not worried to be alone, Mr Right showed up, TWICE.

I find that when your not 100% sure about a relationship that your currently invovled in, you tend to see other match ups "circling" around you, or coming close. Tweaking your interest but your not 100% sure that you want to leave the current situation your in. Love is free will in this life, and your spirit guides and loved ones who have passed over know when your not happy, and will try and find ways to "fix" it. Whether this is introducing new people, new situations, or just pointing you in the right direction. I am sure if they could, there would be times they would love to kick our butts in the right direction!

So, for those of you interested, here is a meditation to draw "mr or mrs right" into your lives, and allow you to be more patient when they arrive. So for those of you who need it, I have located the way to use your own soul and guidance as a way to draw them in, this is from Sylvia Brownes book, and really connects with me so I thought it would for others as well.

"sit or lie down in a prone position., Start breathing deeply from your diaphragm, and when you exhale say "I am releasing all desperation and negativity, all feelings of unworthiness and rejection. I deserve to love and be loved". Relax your whole body, beginning with your feet, ankles, calves, thighs and pelvic girdle; and continue all the up through the trunk of your body, your spine, your neck, arms, hands and head area. Say " From the top of my head to my toes, I am one complete unit, able to love, survive and sustain my life" See yourself younger, brighter, better looking, more intelligent and with a positive attitude.
Now visualize yourself in a crowd of people. Push your energy out so that you create what we call "presence". Say "I am able to make a difference, so I walk with the white light of the holy spirit around me. I release all past mistakes, rejections and embarrassments, and I will not repeat them in the future. I learn to laugh at myself".
Now visualize yourself in a beautiful meadow. It looks like it has just rained, because the grass is lush and the foliage is green. You look up and you see a rainbow, and you run over and stand in its light. You can see the colors on your body - the green for healing, the gold for higher power, the blue for peace and tranquility, and the reddish pink for love. The hues infiltrate every part of your being. Now say "I am in the state of loving, and I am ready for love to come to me". Now bring yourself out of this relaxed state, all the way out, feeling marvelous, energized and better than you have in a long long time.

Good things happen to good people

I am sure that I can go on and on about this topic, but will try and keep it medium sized as to not to take up all of your day listening to my ramblings.

I was thinking today about how sometimes things unexpectantly happen, and you really are not sure how to react. Let me give you an example. My daughters and I were on the way to the city to head to a birthday party. We decided to go through the drive through of Tim Hortons. I ordered my daughter her 5 timbit dark chocolate donuts, I ordered the flavor of the month, we both got drinks and also a water. I pulled up to the part where you pay, he told me the wrong price, and I let him know that it was not my order (mine came to 5 something and he told me 3! lol). I then got the water, the one drink, my donut, and was still missing the other drink and my daughters donuts. He seemed a bit flustered and tried to hand me a yoghurt. I let him know it was not mine, and he asked me what I was missing. I explained about the timbits, and the apple juice. He handed me the timbit box and apple juice and we were on our way. I pull out of the drive way and into the traffic, and start opening my bag with my donut, only to realize that they had put my daughters timbits into my bag! So what was in the box you ask? Well more timbits that we did not order and obviously did not pay. So, here is when things seem to be questioned. Do you go back to the store, and let them know the mistake and give back the donuts you got for free? Or do you keep them as a "gift". And I am not talking a gift from Tim Hortons, but perhaps from "someone else". Hopefully that makes sense.

In this "storey" I really feel that it depends on the situation. If you were asking for a "sign" from someone, or perhaps were wishing something good would happen to you, or such, then I would accept this as a gift or a sign and go along with it. I think that you will also know deep down if its something from someone as you will feel a connection to it.

In regards to other things, again, I really feel that it depends on the situation and what you were thinking or wishing for. If you were really needing money and you happen to find a big stash of it on the ground, perhaps this again is "gift". In this situation I would perhaps also try to find out who the owner was, but would also 'accept" it if the owner was not located.

I am a very nice person and I truely enjoy doing things for other people. Seeing someones face after you have done something for them, is for me, thanks enough. For me, doing the readings for people is something that I really enjoy. I love being able to help people, to offer the support and understanding, the hope and joy, I love to share in this experience with them as well.

I believe that if you are true to yourself, and are "good" towards others as well in your life, things will have a way of balancing out and coming for you as well. I do not do good just to get good in return, but I do truely believe that you should treat others and you want to be treated...

did you know that you can "upgrade"?

I am not sure if everyone is aware of this at all or not, but if you purchased a reading in the last 4 weeks, and thought you "should" have gone for one of the other predictions instead, you do not actually have to purchase the next prediction, you can "upgrade" to the higher one by sending the remaining funds to make up for what the higher prediction would have cost. So lets say you purchased the bypass prediction for 8.00, and now you wish you had gone for the sibling express, you would send me an additional 7.00 Canadian. You can't do this through the site, so you would have to email me with "upgrade" in the subject line and I can tell you what steps to take.

Also, in the works, is some blog posts to come that I think that will peek some interest. I am not going to give any hints as I don't want to give away what I am gathering information for as I want it to fun when its posted, so just keep your eyes open in the next two weeks while I get it all together.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Its sunny skies here today and just relaxing with the girls.

As usual, if you have any questions, stories of inspirations or encounters you would like to share, just email me at cheri22@gmail.com with the subject line that corresponds:)

You got questions? I got answers

I have received a few questions in the last few days, and thought I would post here so that everyone might have this information in case others are wondering as well:)

1. Someone wanted to know why I provide a month as connection that I dont narrow it down by saying whether its a bfp month, a conception month or the month you give birth in. The answer to this my friend is SIMPLE. If I was to narrow it down exactly, it adds alot more pressure and stress onto the person and thus can delay the conception. When you are able to relax and be more positive and focused on ttc, having an idea on what month would be connected to is "fun" but because you have not been told this "IS" the month your not as under as much pressure to "perform".

My guides connect me to a month, I do have an "idea" on how it lines up, but I always makes sure that everyone knows that it can line up as either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in. I guess if I started asking the guides to be completely specific, they would provide a stronger connection, but then we end up again with the pressure put on you as well.

So if you like, you can ask me which way they are leaning, I will certainly tell you:)

2. Quite a few people have asked me if I have ever predicted that someone could not have kids... The answer to this is yes. I also have to point out that I always feel horrible saying that I do not see kids, or only being shown surrogacy or adoption or even fostering, as this is probably heartbreaking to be told no kids. People email looking for hope and confirmation and I dont want to provide any negative information. Unfortunetly though if I am not shown any kids, I do unfortunetly relate that information on to the person. I also point out though, that just because I am not shown any children, does not mean that you won't have any, just means that I am not being shown any. This can be due to a lesson that needs to be learned with ttc in your life, could be that I do not have a good connection with this person, or that there will not be any kids. I also have to say that because I am only 85% accurate, I do not want to dash anyones hopes either by saying "never" as you never can be sure. I dont want people to give up ttc just because I am not shown any children.

3. I also for the record want to apologize in regards to the way my emails come through and some posts on this blog. I know that at times my spelling/grammar can be sloppy. (thank goodness for spell check on this blog) Now I actually can type around 60 words per minute, but with the amount of emails I do every day, from readings, to replies to scheduling, and still having to do things with my family and house, I only have so much time, so unfortunetly when a spelling (or grammar) error comes into play, I am too "lazy" or "busy" to go back and fix it and just want to make sure that everyone gets their reading. So please, accept my apologies for not having it fixed before sending. Someone emailed me about this (thanks Jane), and its something that I have noticed myself, and feel badly about, and will try and fix it for future:)

So with this being said, if some has a question about their reading, about how something is done, or a Generic" question email cheri22@gmail.com with "question" in the subject line. This will help it stand out from the new requests for predictions and I will answer it as soon as I can.

What a crazy busy weekend!

It all started with my dad and his wife supposed to be coming by on Saturday, as it was my dad's third year of being sober. Yep, you heard that right, my dad is officially 3 years sober. I can tell you that from a young child I do remember my dad drinking alot, getting drunk and the adults always appeared to be having fun. As I got older, seems my dad drank more. It was when my Great Aunt died that things seemed to get worse. My dad's side of the family all thought he would inherit the money upon her death, as he was the one who actually spent the time looking after her, visiting her, as the other two brothers and sister were always so busy. I remember as a young kid the whole family would joke about it, and always ask my dad if he would split it evenly, and he always ensured that he would. (I know horrible for a family to discuss when someone was alive, but they did! ACK!) Well when she passed away, she left it to my Aunt (my dad's oldest sister) and when my dad enquired as to her intentions, she said she was keeping it all. This really upset my dad, as he felt betrayed, and downward spiraled emotionally and ended up drinking even more. He would drink so much that he would be passed out drunk around 5pm at night at the latest.. fall over drunk.

So it was one night like that, my dad's wife called me and told me to send my husband over as my dad had fallen and she could not get him up. I felt horrible, although my dad and his wife lived across the street from us in an apartment, I could not actually tell my husband how to get in, what number they were, or even where to find the apartment! I had to go myself leaving my husband to watch our daughter.

I got there, my dad laying on the ground of their living room and I LOST it on him. I told him that he was slowly drinking himself to death. I asked him if he enjoyed laying on the carpet and if this was his idea of a good time. I started bawling, and freaking and getting mad at him. He started crying as well, and from that day on, he decided to make a change in his life. The weeks to follow he drank only the non-alcoholic beer, and in August three years ago, checked himself into a private detox facility. This is where the change happened and for what I am thankful for. As as mentioned above, my dad is now officially three years sober.

So celebrating that on Saturday was a big thing for all of us, found out that my cousin from about 5 hour drive was coming into town, so invited her along, and because she was staying with my aunt and uncle, we invited them along! To top it all off, the second they left, we had to head for a birthday party that my daughter was invited to. After getting home, baby had decided that she was not really in the "sleeping" mood and anytime I actually sat down to get something done she would wake up. She just wanted to cuddle. Normally when I do not get a chance to do my readings in the morning (I do majority now in the morning during babies morning nap) My husband will watch her at night so I can get caught up. Wouldn't you know it, its the night he has plans and she decides shes not a happy camper! lol

Then on Sunday was my mom's husbands 60th birthday party, I did as much as I could online yesterday morning before heading to the party for 1pm. Both our eldest and our baby were well behaved, we all ate tons of food, including staying there and eating dinner as there was so much left over from lunch! Then on the tv came Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Now I am not an "over the top" social person, I like to sit and chat, but I also was getting tired and wanted to relax, so decided to watch tv and I love that show. Every time when they say "move that bus" I just love to watch the emotional expression on the peoples face and often find myself crying with them. I love to watch "happy" stories as so many times now a days you find on TV things that are more "negative' or sad. I though the show was over at 9pm, and turns out that its not over till 10pm!!! So we got home just after 10, and then had to feed the baby, and get both kids into bed as well as myself! lol.

So I am starting my morning as being half a day behind, hoping to get all of that completed, and then complete all of today's. I dont mind the occasional busy weekend, but thankful for the ones that are relaxing as well.

So there is not much point to this post, perhaps a bit of an update, perhaps giving you a glimpse into my life and whats happening, including the information about my dad. Perhaps that can also give people hope, that even when someone is an alcoholic and seems like they will never stop, there is a turning point for everyone:) Sometimes they just need a kick in the arse from family.

Do you have someone who is "toxic" in your life?

I am sure that at one point or another you have had someone who is more "toxic" or negative in your life that you just can't seem to get rid of. Either its your parents, your friend, your sibling or ex-boyfriend or even currently relationship/husband. Most times these people can possibly be tied into a lesson we need to learn in our lives, and since we have not learned it, we have been unable to move on. Other times, we are more afraid of the unknown and wouldn't know what to do with ourselves should we actually have the courage to move on.

There are other ways of dealing with people who are not good for you. Whether they cause you anguish, sorrow, sadness, anger, resentment.... and if they happen to be family and you have no choice but to put up with them (ie parents or siblings) then you can use this technique to help lessen their impact on your life and your emotional state.

Stand up, and imagine yourself attached to them with tons of strings, these are strong, almost like guitar type strings and "see" them going from your stomach and attaching to the other person at their stomach. They do not have to be in the room for your to "see" this. In your mind, visualize yourself having a pair of scissors in your hand, grab a hold of the strings, and start cutting. (Cut all of them but one, as you might need to keep some attachment to this person if they are related. ) You will actually see in your mind the others being cut away and falling down as they are no longer attached. You will actually feel a bit "relief" doing this and less pressure being put on you from the energy that these people seem to create.

There might be times when you need to do this again when your feeling a bit overwhelmed or mad with these people and "release" the hold they have on you, and eventually you will not be nearly as affected by these people as you currently are.

I did this technique with an ex-boyfriend that i just could not seem to break free from. He was toxic, he stole from my family, lied/cheated on me, and just was very negative. As he was my "first" I guess it was hard to see past my nose to what he was really like. When I realized my lesson with him, and did the technique above, I was able to move on finally and a much better person after that as well.

wow, everyone was so close with the contest!

I can't believe how many aspects people got right in regards to the living room. Let me lay it down for you. When standing at the door, the couch is actually in your "way" of sitting down, its right in front, so to sit down, you would need to walk to the left of the couch, in between it and the love seat! To the right of the room is a large window, the TV is also on an entertainment unit in the right corner of the room. To the left of the TV against the wall is the fireplace. It does have a white wood mantle, with a large picture above it. The carpet is green, the walls are a green color (were like this when we moved in! lol.) there is no coffee table or end tables and no plants though as the room is somewhat smaller.

Now I know this is "my bad" as we technically have two living rooms, and I should have been more clear as to which one because by the sounds of it, some people actually picked up bits and pieces of each room. I would have to say that this was by far the toughest contest for me to "judge" and award the winners as everyone did so amazingly well! Remote viewing is always really fun to do, and i find that it also helps me do my readings. Especially when doing a live reading, as I can really take a "peek" at the person and connect alot better. Often even picking up if someone else has entered the room. Keep practicing and it will be amazing what you can pick up about a room or a place, even though you have never actually been there!

So the winners are as follows, first off I would have to say that Jamie was the most right in regards to the room, and how its laid out. There is no computer desk though, but you picked up most of everything and would consider her to be more "right" than everyone. Almost had me thinking if I posted a picture of my living room somewhere and she found it! lol

Second place goes to Heather, so you both win the readings from Ruby, if you email me cheri22@gmail..com with "blog contest winners" in the subject line I will forward you to ruby's email address to claim your prize.

Judy, you are the winner of the free reading from myself, so just email me and put blog contest winner in the subject line and I will "hook you up" lol.

Congrats to everyone, I wish I could give everyone a prize, but as you know, there are always readings being given away time to time, so keep your eyes open:) I will try and post a picture of my living room for everyone to see, that way they can compare it to what they had "seen".

Last of Ruby's Readings to give away!

Okay for today's post, its going to be called "remote viewing" and its going to involve you looking into my house, and seeing where something is when it comes to my living room. Now in regards to my living room, I want to know where the TV is in relation to the door. So imagine yourself standing in the door frame about to walk into the living room, I want to know where in the room the tv is, where the couch is and where the fireplace is. If you pick up anything else, feel free to share it as there are certainly some bonus points!!

This is actually quite "simple" technique to do and you can easily just "zone out" and imagine yourself in a door frame and look around mentally... Give it a try, whats the worse that can happen? lol.

Everyone who participates is entered to win a reading from my (prediction bypass 8.00 value) and the two people that have it closest or the most right will win Ruby's last two readings! I'll give everyone some time to do this, so will be back tomorrow night, at which point when I announce the winners, I will also include a link to Ruby's email and her site for those of you curious about her and do not have the information as of yet.

Good luck!

Reiki - how it can help with your fertility

One natural fertility treatment that is on the rise in popularity is Reiki therapy. Reiki treatments are based on the channeling of positive energy so as to promote overall health. As such, Reiki healing is a natural fertility method that can help improve your chances of getting pregnant by minimizing health problems and conditions that can hinder your fertility.

But what exactly is Reiki therapy and how can it help to increase your odds of getting pregnant?
What is Reiki Therapy?

Reiki treatment is a natural therapy that is used to improve overall well being and to promote healing in the body. Reiki therapy is an ancient Japanese healing method whose primary objective is to balance the energy (Chi) in the body. Reiki seeks to encourage energy flow so as foster self-healing.

During a Reiki treatment session, a practitioner will use gentle hand movements so as to channel positive energy from her hands to that of the patient. These hand movements are often performed without any body contact from the practitioner, as the practitioner’s hands usually hover just above the patient’s body, including the head, shoulders, stomach, back, legs and feet.

The Benefits of Reiki Therapy
There are a variety of health benefits associated with Reiki treatment. Some of the benefits associated with Reiki treatment include:
reduced levels of stress
increased energy levels
improved immune system health
reduced muscle pain
reduced levels of anxiety
improved method of detoxification
Reiki Therapy and Infertility

Because Reiki healing works to improve overall physical and mental health, it can in turn improve your chances of getting pregnant by promoting overall health, including reproductive health. As such, Reiki therapy can help to improve your health so as to minimize conditions and illnesses that can contribute to infertility:

For example, Reiki therapy can help to maintain good reproductive health that is beneficial for both men and women. Also, because stress is often linked to fertility problems, Reiki therapy can be beneficial in cases in which stress is contributing to problems getting pregnant.
In addition to promoting good preconception health, Reiki treatment can also help to foster good prenatal health. A recent study found that Reiki healing sessions reduced stress during pregnancy by 94% while nausea and morning sickness were reduced by 80% after Reiki treatment sessions. In addition, the study found that quality of sleep is improved by 86% when Reiki treatment is conducted during pregnancy.

Reiki healing can also help to minimize labor pains as well as to provide relief to muscles and reduce other discomforts linked to the birthing process.

Reiki Therapy Session Information
An average Reiki treatment lasts from between 60 minutes to 90 minutes. In order to be effective, it is recommended that you start with 1 or 2 Reiki therapy sessions per week.
In order to ensure that your Reiki therapy practitioner is qualified, inquire about her qualifications, including where she was trained. You should also ask to see qualification certificates and diplomas. In addition, ask friends or family who have used Reiki treatment in order to conceive for a referral. Also, remember that finding a Reiki practitioner close to your home reduces travel time and stress, particularly if you’re undergoing other forms of fertility treatment such as assisted reproduction technology(ART) or fertility testing.

This is also very inexpensive to take the class yourself. I actually took the Reiki level 1 course, and paid 100.00. I really enjoyed the experience immensely and can still use this form of healing in many ways. Not only on myself, but others as well. So if you look into it, it might be something that you might want to try. There are others who can do "remote Reiki" as well to perform it on you from a remote location as well. As always, if you have any questions or experiences with Reiki and would like to share or ask, You can email cheri22@gmail.com with "blog comment" in the subject line or add a comment to this post.
