Of all of the divination tools, the pendulum is the most common and easiest to use. Its power should not be underestimated though. You may have heard the old wise tale of putting a wedding band on a piece of string and asking it if you would have a boy or a girl, circles for girls, back and forth for boys. You can either make your own pendulum with an object on a string, or the most common is a crystal on the end of a chain. You can buy them online, or at a metaphysical store. Typically, 3 answers can be given with a pendulum, YES, NO, DO NOT KNOW. In answer to your question, the pendulum with either:
Swing back and forth
Swing in a clockwise circle
Swing in a counter-clockwise circle
Swing for side to side
Remain stationary
When you have made your pendulum or purchased you pendulum, you need to hold it, ask for it to be blessed and cleared. Now, when you are ready to begin to ask questions, you need to ask your pendulum to show you YES, NO, or DON’T KNOW. Watch for the action it takes, but be cautioned, at times it may change how it answers. The questions you ask your pendulum must be STRONG, CLEAR, AND DIRECT. Do be prepared to receive an answer you may not want to hear. Once you are proficient using the pendulum, you may find that you hear the answer even before your pendulum answers the question, this is your INTUITION. J Again always trust in your intuition, your “gut.” I use my pendulum for some readings, mostly to confirm my feelings or thoughts on a situation.
