Good news!! I am a twit! lol

I don't know, sounds funny! But I just signed up for "twitter" and no idea how to use it, but I enjoy the ellen show and shes on there and wants everyone to sign up and have one million followers so I thought, what the heck! So if anyone else is a twit, look me up, I am under iamcheri22.

You will also never guess.. but I have ANOTHER sore throat! I have been taking antibiotics and it went away, I was 'sore throat free' for all of two days. I don't get it! So here I am suffering with another one. Not nearly as bad, but enough that I get to complain about it. Its also making me snore at night which is driving my husband crazy! ( my throat is a bit swollen which is why I am snoring - my storey and I am sticking to it!) Anyone got any ideas on what this could be? Any natural remedies?

Okay, today is the give away for Elisabeth's reading. For those who are not familiar with her, shes been on my blog on the links to the bottom right, and she has said she would love to be featured on the blog as per my previous post!

So, for this contest, I would like to talk about dreams. I want to hear dreams you have had that have turned out to be like a premonition. Does not matter how crazy it was, or how silly it sounds, I want to hear about it, and then want you to translate it and tell me what happened from your dream.. basically did your guides or loved ones, direct you away from something, warn you from something or even give you an answer?

I really feel that dreams are a way of connecting within yourself and your guides. As a way of gathering information and getting insight. Sometimes people don't remember their dreams when they wake up, but you CAN! Before going to bed, you just need to ask your guides to allow you to remember the details of your dream when you wake up. Have a pen and paper close by!

So as the contests always go, please post in the comments section and leave your email address or a login name. Some way that you can be easily identified. I will draw a winner on SUNDAY as usual. Thus giving everyone enough time to enter!

Good luck!

I have Da ja vu ALL the time. Its never really any event that is grand or anything..usually mundane...the last one I had was sitting around a kitchen table at dinner during a girls weekend away! I usually remember the dream for a day and forget about them until the even happens and while it is happening I then remember the dream again! I Love my da ja vu and think its the coolest thing ever!!

Awhile ago I had the weridest dream, I was with my family in a limo and for some reason I had a funny feeling in my tummy. I went to the washroom and I didn't have my menses, all of a sudden I was in a doctors office. She said Yup your pregnant. Shocking I only told my husband and he was so excited. Then I woke up it was strange and a month later YUP I was really pregnant but sadly it ended in a m/c. I thought that was kinda crazy... Cheers

Hi Cheri,
This is Anna. I dont like to post but the dreams I had before and it came true are scary so I dont like to think about it or even dream stuff like this. I actually had dreams that 9/11 would happen and me being inside one of those planes, I had a dream about the plane that crashed in NY in the waters a few years ago and I dreamed of the plane that crashed in Brazil a few years ago too. In all these planes I was inside them before they crashed. The planes really crashed like 1-4 weeks after my dream. I programmed myself not to have these dreams anymore and after 9/11 I dont have them anymore. It was to freaky for me because it was only bad dreams and they would happen. I did not like that.

I had a dream last october that my best friend had a baby and didn't tell me ultil after she had the baby. I saw her a few weeks later and she said that was funny because she was 5 months pregnant, and because of my recent m/c she didn't want to cause me any more hurt.

I cannot say EXACTLY what HAPPENED in the dream, but it was of the man who worked next door to me.

After that, I looked at him differently. Our short conversations became more frequent and timely.

This was 5 1/2 years ago. This man next door is now my Fiancé.

My spirit guides saw that I was not interested in the "boy next door," that I had no interest in him other than that.

When my finacé and I got together, I was introduced to his step-mother, who taught me about meditation, dreams etc...A very spiritual person herself, she is my teacher this lifetime.

Had I NOT had this dream 5+ years ago...I would NOT be where I am today (spiritually speaking)!!

So while it wasn't necessarily a PREMONITION...It was definitely a LIFE-CHANGING dream!!

For many years I use to always have this same re-occuring dream. I never knew what it meant but I use to dream that I was running from something..so i would grab my grandmothers hand and run with her. Even though she was very old I was able to protect us from whatever was after us which by the way I never saw who or what it was.
3 years ago my grandmother had a mini stroke and it was enough to take away alot of her strength. She seemed fine other wise and i did not feel it was her time even though you cant help but to feel this way when your loved one is in the hospital or nursing home trying to rehabilitate. During that time I had the re-occurring dream again ..and like always i knew what to do and where to go but it ended differently my grandmother was out of breath and could not keep up so i left her somewhere sage hidden and continued on with out her looking for help. That night i woke up very upset almost knowing that I was going to loose her and I did 2 days later. I feel in a way God was preparing me for this .but it still amazes me that the dream i had for all these years probably at least 10 times suddenly changes around the same time I lost her.

I dreamt I was pregnant each time I was, I also dreamt it was a boy and it is. More then once too, I had 3 dreams about him being a boy! One was even an ultrasound dream. I also had a dream that I had a super easy labor (keeping my fingers crossed!)

I dreamt about getting a postitve pregnancy test. I was sitting in my bathroom holding the pee stick and holding my tummy. I remember feeling very anxious and scared about being pregnant because I had just suffered a loss a couple months earlier. The dream was so real that I woke up crying. 3 weeks later my dream became reality. I got my positive and sat in the bathroom just like I did in my dream.

I also had my deceased grandfather that I was really close to come to me in a dream. I was going through some hard times and he spoke to me in my dream. I woke up and instantly felt like all burdens had be lifted from my shoulders.

I had a dream in high school about my friend. We were at a park together laughing and running and he was telling jokes. He was the class clown, so he was always crackin' a joke:) Then, just before I woke up, he said "Today was great. Remember this forever." I thought it was really weird and I was kind of embarrassed about it, so I didn't tell him about the dream.

Sadly, 10 days later, he committed suicide. And to this day, I remember the dream as if I had it last night. I spent a long time feeling guilty about it. Like I somehow could have prevented it. But I now know that it wasn't my fault. Took a long time though!

I forgot to answer you about the sore throat! Do you live in a dry climate? One thing that has really helped my family is having a vaporizer in every room. We turn it up at night because we are all notorious mouth breathers while we sleep. If I do wake up with a sore throat, I first gargle with salt water and then have some herbal tea with honey to soothe. I hope you are feeling better very soon! Oh, and I'm on Twitter too, so I will go and follow you:)

I have dreams where I'm on the phone talking to people and all I see is black and I just hear their voice. Then I wake up after they are done talking. Usually whatever they told me happens either that day or shortly after. I also have dreams where something will happen and then I'll wake up. So I guess when I'm woken up from a dream, whatever it is that wakes me up usually happens sooner or later...

I have had dreams where part of them have come true or have pointed in a direction. When I was pregnant a few months ago, I had a dream that I had a miscarriage. A few days later I had a miscarriage. A couple weeks ago I had a dream I couldn't walk very well and they told me at the hospital that I was pregnant. When I woke up I had a sharp pain in my low back that made it hard to walk and bend over for days. It was really weird and I had no idea how I injured my back. A couple weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. However, I lost that pregnancy a couple days ago.
I also had a dream a few months ago that I was in a auto accident and my friends husband was driving drunk. My family and his family were in the car and I went flying through the windshield in the back seat. It was very real and I woke up feeling slightly paralyzed as in my dream I was dead, walking with someone who was wearing white. I was in a hospital gown.
I called my friend and told her about the dream and that her husband was drinking and driving. She said there as been a problem with them and his drinking. She has been warning him to not drink and drive. A week or two later, he got pulled over for drinking and driving and lost his driver licence. He is still not able to drive. Hopefully this has taught him a valuable lesson and my dream will never come true.
I recently had a dream about one of my good friends who is going though a tough time with a divorce and financial problems with her house. I had a dream she was doing really well and living in a bigger house with plenty of money. She was very happy and her family was living with her in a separate part of the house. I felt very happy for her when I woke her up. The next morning I called her and told her to call me so I could tell her about my dream.
Anyways...for some reason many of my dreams have had meaning and sometimes they have come true. I am not sure why this is suddenly been happening. It has been very interesting.
One dream that keeps sticking in my mind was a dream I had several years ago before my son was conceived and we were trying. I had a dream I met Jesus. He had red short hair, freckles, and was familiar too me. I took an elevator up to see him. When I met with him he told me I should stop drinking. I was drinking quite a bit on weekends and I had a feeling I needed to tone it down a bit. I also asked him if we would ever have children. He smirked and said "oh yes." From that point I had a feeling that there was going to be more than one child. Early that next year, I got pregnant with our first child ( I had also worked on quiting or keeping it to a two drink limit when I do go out for a drink with friends).
Since then we have been trying for another child. I still feel like we are missing a child from our family. It all stems from that dream. I really feel like we are missing someone. I also had someone tell me we would have three children. She looked at my hand and said, " I see three". That through me for a loop and is now sticking in my head. I am still working on #2.
Anyways we have had several miscarriages and no second child. I am still figuring out whether the next child is suppose to be biological or an adopted child. For a while I thought maybe it we might adopt. I had a strong feeling about it a few months ago and then I lost that feeling and started trying for a baby again. We just miscarried again a few days ago and I am searching again for answers again. At this point I am lost on what to do.
Anyways...overall I have had some dreams that have surpisingly come true or have had meaning.
I also have da ja vu alot and strong intuition about certain things.
We had a friend who wanted to get a gastic bipass and announced it in our church. I had a very strong feeling that he should not go through with the surgery. I wanted to stand up and tell him in front of the church. It was that strong. I told him after church and I was shaking when I told him that I think he should wait and let me help him with his weight
(I do nutritional counceling). He eventually got the bipass anyways with out telling me. He has been in a wheel chair ever since. He can't walk. He has a very poor quality of life now. It broke my heart to see that happen and I hve hard time looking at him. I feel like I should have tried harder to stop him from doing the surgery. Anyways, I am sorry for writing so much. Thanks for reading this.
