Happy New Year!

Well, okay its not exactly new years here yet, I have just under 2 hours left to go and my 5 year is trying her best to stay up till midnight and ring in the new year with my 11 year old god daughter. We shall see what happens!

I really do hope that you guys all have a wonderful 2009 and that it brings about alot of pregnancies and babies galore! I hope that 2009 is a positive experience, and one that you will remember for years to come.

I am not normally the type of person to do new years resolutions, well, perhaps I should clarify this.... I am not the type of person to KEEP new years resolutions, but I mean well when making them!

here we go!

1. Cherish the time spent with family and friends. Especially my little girls who might not always want to spend the time with me when they are teens.

2. As for every year, loose a bit of weight. This year more so as still carrying around the baby weight. Not sure how much longer I am allowed to blame it on the baby as shes now 8 months old! I would love to lose 30lbs

3. no more drinking soda

4. eat more veggies/fruit and cut down on the chocolate m(in other words eat better so that I can follow through with #2! lol)

So now that they have been posted on my blog, perhaps its more about being set in stone and easier to follow!

I would love to hear your new years resolutions! The people who post some of theirs in the comment section will be entered to win a reading with Brooke777! Winner will be announced on Sunday morning as usual to give people a time to answer.

I am hoping tomorrow to post the winner of the December special as well. So keep your eyes open on the blog tomorrow and the next day to see who wins!

A tornado hit my house!

okay not really, but if you were to peak in here, you would think that was exactly what happened! (those with remote viewing techniques, you might not want to use it to see my house, it might scare you! lol)

I am the type of person who loves to get all the Christmas decorations up around the first of December, and then believe it or not, its all down the 26th of December! I have already dismantled the tree, put away all the decorations and started to clean up the house. We have opened most of the presents the girls received, and put a few away for a "Rainy day" when they are bored. I have three bags of recycling from boxes to go out next week, and a few more things to clean up before the house starts to feel "normal" again. I really don't like messes, especially big ones! lol.

I guess that's my pet peeve. I don't mind little messes, where there are a few toys lying around, but I hate large ones, just gets me anxious I guess, and drives me crazy and I clean it right up. Don't ask me how many times I clean up after the kids!

My computer room is a mess, I can barely even get to my desk to work on the computer. Now normally I would have already had this all back in the closet where it belongs, but with having the baby, this is a bit more difficult. I am kinda limited to when shes napping, but then I would make too much noise.. catch my drift? So basically have to wait for hubby to be available!

We had a good Christmas, saw lots of family and already did lots of visiting. I think that is what I enjoy more is visiting with everyone. Its certainly not this snow we have been getting. I only remember one other time around 10 years ago when we got this much. Its been raining here today, but that means SLUSH everyone. My eldest does not mind as she would sit in it if she didn't think I would freak out! Shes just the type that can turn anything into fun. I have been told my hubby that tomorrow will snow again, which means I am house bound as the slushy snow will turn into ice and be even harder to drive in.

Anyways, I am back online, will have the contests running again starting next week for the reading giveaways. You still have a few days left if anyone is interested in the December special. (if you want to know more about the monthly specials, check the lower right hand side of this blog under "labels" although post is not listed as "December special" it will contain the information about it.

Okay! Time for bed!

Found this really neat site

where you can enter the date of your last period and it does all the "guess work" for you. So for those of you who are new to trying to conceive, or those of you not temping or using other means to predict ovulation check this site out. I thought it was really fun to at least try and see how it worked and what information it gave.

its begining to look alot like christmas.......

well, I am officially done Christmas shopping.. can you believe it, Christmas is just two sleeps away! My daughter knows how many and is pretty excited and as you can guess the baby could care less. (although she might try and eat the wrapping paper!) I normally have all my shopping done at the beginning of December as I try and pick things up all year round so that its not so much at the end. But this year, my husbands father was nearly impossible to buy for. He WONT tell you what he wants, tells you he does not need anything, and then your left trying to find something for a person who needs nothing. Next year is going to be different. I don't think I should be buying gifts just for the sake of having everyone accumulate more "stuff". I will try and buy practical things for people that they can use, wear, eat.. lol. My FIL I know how much he loves smoked salmon so bought him some of that. The box it comes in is wooden with a carved design. Would he use the box? No probably not, but he will eat the fish, and perhaps my Mother in law can use the box, or they can let my daughter have it. I am sure she will have fun with it. OR I can use it to wrap another gift who knows! lol.

We are heading to my Mother in laws for dinner tomorrow, and then heading into the city on Thursday for Christmas dinner at my sisters. Shes currently 20 weeks along and just found out that they are expecting another little boy (her husband has two boys from a previous marriage and they have one son together and now one son on the way) as we have two girls they offered to trade !lol (it was a joke! lol) Shes also been told by the midwife that her amino fluid is low, so of course shes freaked out on what it could possibly mean. She had to have blood tests today to find out before she can see a specialist, so please keep her in your thoughts that its "nothing".

I am hoping we can make it out to the city for dinner. We are expecting snow. And the one thing you should know about us here in British Columbia, is that we don't get alot of the white stuff out here, we get tons of rain, but hardly any snow, so when we do, everyone drives like they just got their license, there are tons of accidents and people going off the road....so I tend to not want to go out there. I actually saw a mustang having CHAINS on his tires.. okay, sounds like a good plan given that there was snow.. BUT the roads where CLEAR! He was driving his mustang with chains on the BARE road! You should have seen some of the sparks. I am sure that this can do some damage to the road and his car. No idea what he was thinking and was surprised he did not pull over to take them off!

Anyways, I want to wish you all a merry Christmas!! (if you celebrate and if you don't, I hope you have a wonderful new year! lol)

Everyone has a storey to tell...

I really believe that we are "here" to learn lessons... and that sometimes our lessons correspond with other peoples lessons, and we need to learn from it. I really believe that its a benefit to all to also pass your knowledge with what you have learned. Its not a "Cheat sheet' exactly as your not giving the answers to every situation that life has to offer, but its almost like giving people the ability to react easier to a situation that they encounter with a bit of knowledge and power.

For example, in my life growing up, I would consider my childhood to have been good. It was not "perfect" but then who is. My mom suffered from severe depression, my dad was an alcoholic (is now 3 years sober!) and in spite of that all, I do have to say that I am a good person BECAUSE of what I went through. Not only can I help/relate to people who have suffered depression, or have an addition, but feel that by being in my situation can help them overcome or reconnect themselves to who they are inside and hopefully find a lesson out of it all. I seem to connect well to people who have experienced depression as I "sorta' know what they are going through after watching my mom suffer with it for YEARS (she finally "beat" it when I was 21)

I have never been depressed, I have had feelings of sadness, but I always "cleanse" my spirit and tell the negative energy to leave and surround myself with white light. I truly believe I am here to help. That's why I love doing what I am doing right now. Helping women/families with trying to conceive or pregnancy, regaining hope and positive energy back into their lives when otherwise its stressful. I enjoy helping people reconnect with their loved ones, I love helping give people back direction in their life when they are otherwise feeling stuck or lost. Whether its using my abilities to for tell future, or even just being a friend to listen and help pass along information.

This is also why I love emails that include inspirational stories, or even tips for conception as it helps pass the "storey" along. It helps pass the information you have learned onto the person who perhaps might be experiencing the same thing. This is why I feel its important for everyone to connect.. to share.. to enlighten.

Also a reminder, for those of you who are interested in what December special is all about (see label on the bottom right listed as "special offers" to find the post about what I am talking about) there is still a few days left to be able to qualify for this opportunity!

Dreams and their meanings

I am sure like most of you, my dreams are usually pretty vivid and leave me wondering if I should translate it, or leave it alone. Last night, I dreamed that I was with my sister, and my good friend, and we located an "old' hidden museum. Inside was an artifact, it was from a scrapbook type thing, to punch holes, and a very old "ancient" sign that said something of the fact of it being a craft type fair. Now in my dream, this was my uncle's museum, and my good friend stole the little hole punch thing, and I was pretty upset. The item was worth 14,000 dollars and I felt it should be where it was found, or donated to a local museum instead. I actually stole it back and was trying to find my way back in. Now you see, the museum was hidden, you had to go through this door that my uncle had professionally made, but was covered in dust and webs as never used. You had to crawl through some things and even go over things to actually get there. Almost like it was "supposed" to be a museum or the like but ended up being for storage instead.

I did wake up shortly after that with my daughter (eldest) calling me as she had to go pee and blow her nose. So who knows how the dream would have ended.

Now I am also careful with which dreams I interpret and which dreams I leave alone, or at least keeping an open mind as to what it could mean. I have interpreted a dream before to think that I had 4 days left to live, and was SCARED crap less, only to have someone else interpret it for me, and actually relate it to my sisters wedding (in 4 months time)

My dreams are usually pretty "wacky" but they make good conversation pieces! As mentioned before, I tend to use www.dreammoods.com to interpret my dreams, and would definitely recommend this site to others. All I say, is keep an open mind, don't freak yourself out with the interpretation as there could be more pieces to the puzzle. You can also use your dreams as a way of getting answers to your questions/problems. Before going to bed, ask your spirit guides to answer your question in a dream for you and let you remember when you wake up.

Here is what my dream last night meant to tell me:)

FOURTEEN (as in the 14,000)
The number fourteen signifies the unexpected and your need to adapt to ever-changing circumstances. It is also symbolic of overindulgence and giving into your desires. You need to be more committed and maintain focus on your goals.

(now the interpretation of this is correct, I have been feeling like we are overspending a bit and not meeting our goals. Basically telling me to keep on track and that I can do it! lol) I also know that my friend that "stole" the artifact in my dream is probably the most frugal person I know, which is also why she was "featured' in with the number 14 to connect the message to me even more!

DOOR (as in the door my uncle made)
To dream that you are entering through a door, signifies new opportunities that will be presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another. In particular, a door that opens to the outside, signifies your need to be more accessible to others, whereas a door that opens into the inside, denotes your desire for inner exploration and self-discovery.

FRIEND (as in the friend who "stole" the artifcat)
To see your friends in your dream, signifies aspects of your personality that you have rejected, but are ready to integrate these rejected part of yourself. The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. Additionally, this symbol foretells of happy tidings from them and the arrival of good news.

I am starting to feel like Dorothy!

here where I live there is a VERY strong wind right now. So bad yesterday it was like -6 with the wind. Okay I know that some of you get it colder, but for me, that's freezing cold! lol. I actually braved it and went out yesterday and today.. what was I thinking! I had a family Christmas party to go to today and had to drive on the freeway, my little car was blowing around like crazy and it totally freaked me out! I am expecting to see on the news alot of damage with how bad and strong the winds are. Out here we don't get tornado's or even hurricanes, but its enough you might at times almost get blown off your feet!

Christmas is something that we celebrate. Not the religious side of it, but the giving part. My parents have always done "Santa" and I have enjoyed keeping the tradition alive with my daughter. I just wanted with her the movie called Polar Express. I asked her if a train showed up in our front yard, would she hop on and she said she would! I love the stage of imagination and hope that she can always dream big.

I would love to hear peoples traditions for the holidays. Do you go to a specific location for xmas? Do you have stockings and presents? What time does your kids wake up in the morning?

So far, even at the age of 5 for my eldest, shes not up for the last few years until her "regular" time of around 8am. Wondering what this year will bring? My sister and I when little were up at the crack of dawn, bouncing off the walls, and being told to go back to bed it was still too early (it was 4am)

I actually remember one Christmas, my sister and I sharing a room (because we wanted to) and we both slept on my top bunk. We played a game where we were pulling each others sleeves, and then letting go and at the time was fun. That was until my sister let go, I punched myself in the mouth and knocked a baby tooth out! I was actually kinda excited afterwards knowing that the tooth fairy was going to come at the same time as Santa. I even asked them to take a picture of each other with my camera. I left it out for them to use and wrote them a really nice note. In the morning, I was super excited, went to get my camera and it was GONE. I actually started bawling thinking that Santa or the tooth fairy stole my camera! lol. My mom quickly picked it out from behind the tree and told me she found it! lol.

Congratulations to TRACY!

You are the winner from the draw this morning and you can email brooke777 to claim your free reading. If you do not have a link to her site already, you can locate it on the bottom right of this blog and it will take you to her site where you can find her email address.

I am pretty sure that I have told people this storey before, but thought I would post it again just in case. I remember it like it was yesterday! I took my daughter swimming who must have been around 3-4 at the time with some friends and their daughter. We left first and headed into the parking lot. Near the back left side of the parking lot, I saw this guy he appeared to be in his late teens early twenty's at the most. He was standing on the grass for a bit, just standing there, looking around. It was dark outside, probably close to 7pm, maybe even as late as 8. He made me slightly nervous. Its when I noticed the other guy, closer to the back of the parking lot and coming closer towards this other guy that I really felt I needed to get my daughter in FAST and get in and lock the doors. I have not experienced this feeling before, but I listened. I told my daughter to get in and buckle up FAST and then locked her door and got in myself, and locked the door. This is when I noticed that the "first' guy was now located behind the white van as if he was hiding, and the other guy who was wearing the red checkered jacket that was originally coming towards my direction abruptly turned right away from my car the minute I got into my car and shut the door. Almost like he was pretending that he was not in fact coming towards me. As I left the parking lot, the second guy kinda stopped by a few cars, trying to make it look like this was his original intention. He waited, did not look at me at all as I drove away. As soon as I passed him, he walked back towards his original direction, and right to the other guy hiding behind the van. I wish I had my cell phone that day. I drove to the nearest store that had a payphone and called 911 ( I would have just called the police station but did not have their number!) I explained what happened, afraid that someone else might not be so lucky. Gave an exact description (thank goodness I did mystershopping for about a year as it gave me the skills to memorize descriptions of people! lol) and they said that they would be sending someone right over to take a look.

I have had premonitions most of my life but did not really realize or clue in to what they were until I really started paying attention to my gifts. I have been told with warnings up to 3 days in advance when a boyfriend would break up with me or when something is not right.

So this is something that you can work with and strengthen. Its a matter of paying attention to what is being shown to you, and keeping it at the back of your mind. You will find that more times than not, your being warned, or guided, from your loved ones and your spirit guides:)

listening to your gut, just could save your life!

This is no joke, for the past little while, I have been getting "visions" of me driving into someone. Almost like a head on collision. I can see myself driving right into this person and being scared crap less! Now I have had "visions" like this before, and each time I have actually gotten into an accident within three days and always very similar to how as the vision has played out. Not previously when this had happened, I really had not clued in to this being a premonition but rather just my imagination so what I had ruled it to be. So now, within the last year and a half I have come to trust or relay on this information. When I "see" something like this, it actually puts me more on guard, I pay closer attention to who is around me, what is happening, and then usually during the day while driving around, I actually see someone being careless and have a close call. Not nearly as close as some people would think, but very avoidable and I feel good about it.

Well as mentioned I have been feeling this way for a bit now, seeing myself driving into someone, and I have been paying close attention. Tuesday I met up with my friend at a local consignment store (I drop off my baby clothes there and pick up bigger sizes for baby! lol) and after we were done I headed home. The roads were slippery as it was raining (did I mention I live near a rain forest and it actually rains here ALOT? lol) Anyways, there was a woman in a dark car, that just drove out from a parking lot, right in front of me like she did not even see me. I actually braked so hard, I locked the brakes and started to slide slightly. At the same time muttering some nice choice words that I don't care to repeat here! ( I probably should have rethought what I was saying as my 5 year old and my baby where with me!) I actually slid a bit as if in slow motion and managed to turn the wheel just slightly to the right just narrowly missing her. She kept going as if it was nothing and like she didn't almost get smashed! Gosh was I mad! Especially with me girls in the car!

So for this blog contest, I would love to hear about your close calls, and even more so, would love to hear if you had been "warned' previous to your close call or your accident. Either by a funny feeling you should not have gone a certain way, or seeing things like I had before it actually took place... any storey that is put into the comments section will be automatically entered to win one of Brooke777 reading! You have until SUNDAY morning to enter! I will announce the winner Sunday!

who knew that having internet problems would be fixed with

just unplugging the modem and plugging it back in? Today I have had a HORRIBLE connection to the Internet. Anytime I read a message through my email, it took FOREVER to actually load, and even worse to actually respond. I was dreading coming online and having it be the same way. I had emails to complete tonight and earlier each message would take literally 2-5 minutes to even load. This does not include me trying to respond or even send something! It was driving me batty!

The baby is sick (I was told breast fed babies can't get sick?? well that theory is out of the window!) so poor little one is having trouble breathing through her nose. Its a bit runny, I used salinex in her nose (which she HATES) but it helps break the mucous up. So after getting her to bed late, I come downstairs to find out my Internet is STILL acting up. :(

I called my mom, asked her how to release/renew my IP address hoping that would work, and she asks me if I disconnected the modem and then plugged it back in.. After much banging my head against the wall as I should have thought of that, I did so, and what do you know.. problem fixed!

Okay, so that's my excuse for not posting this morning about who won yesterday! I apologize for not doing this sooner, yesterday was crazy and I managed to respond to ALOT of emails and forgot to post the winner!

So congrats to KRISTA! (kschrtnbr@yahoo.com) posted the email address as there was two kristas and wanted to make sure that they knew which one. I wish I could offer everyone a prize, but unfortunately would not be fair to Brooke777 or Luyda either to do that without them saying so lol. So krista, please email me at cheri22@gmail.com in order to get your sibling express reading completed. Put in the subject line "WINNER" so I can locate it and get your prediction scheduled properly.

Now for the others who listed in their comments about more tricks of natural supplements, can you email me with "blog comment" in the subject line and I will put you down for the December draw to be entered for supplying info in the blog. The information for the December contest is below:)

Natural ways to increase CM without having to resort to pills?

I know that some of you are looking for ways to increase your cervical mucous and don't want to have to resort to pills. I know that there are a few ways of doing this, from pills prescribed, to herbal remedies, and the good old fashioned foreplay. Now not everyone believes in herbal remedies, and not everyone wants to try and over the counter pill.. and heck, lets face it, there might not always be time for foreplay!

A client of mine has emailed me some information that is working for her that she would like to pass on in the hopes that it will help someone else as well. This is NATURAL, no pills, NOTHING! Here is what she had to say

My TTC tip is to drink a glass of Pink grapefruit juice (not from concentrateda day from CD1. It helps with producing lots of fertile CM around OV.

i have only started to drink it this cycle and ive had loads of CM and still have it now!!

if anyone else has any tips/tricks that they would like to share that is working for them, pass them along! Email me at cheri22@gmail.com and put "blog post" in the subject line for me to locate it easier. Anyone who emails me with information that can be posted on the blog, either tips/tricks or even something you would love to see on the blog (questions about psychic abilities, how to strengthen your own, or even other aspects your curious about) Everyone who does this is automatically entered into the December special draw. If your curious to find out more information about that, there is a post below with the details.

Now today is also supposed to be the giveaway for one of the psychics, but figured I would stir the pot a bit and offer a sibling express reading give away from myself (15.00 value) so since I am feeling tired, but generous, I will make this easy. That way the others that visit this blog that are not wanting to try some of the strengthening exercises but would still love to participate in the blog contest, have a chance to win as well. So to enter, just reply in the comments section by leaving either a login name or an email address. I will keep this open till SUNDAY morning when I will announce the winner (drawn randomly from all names entered)

Good luck!

She has a tooth! lol

okay,  not exactly huge news, but my "baby" has a tooth! I kept track of when my eldest got her first tooth, and looks like the baby was a few days younger when she got hers. Its "pokey" right now and just barely out, and when you try and see it, she puts her tongue on it, she wont let you see, but shes quite happy for you to put your finger in her mouth and she will try and bite you! Today has been the babies turn for not feeling well. I am not sure if its teething, or if shes got what my eldest had.. so I guess we will see what happens.

My eldest has "snuck" into my bed two nights in a row. When shes sick I tend to let her a bit, and probably shouldn't. She wants me to sleep in her bed, because she knows in the middle of the night I tend to go into the spare bed with the baby to ensure I get some sleep and the baby does too... and perhaps a part of her is jealous. I remind her that I did the same thing for her when she was a baby (up till my eldest was THREE!) Not sure how to help h er understand?

Also, wanted to say, that anyone who emails me a storey of inspiration, or some tips for trying to conceive...etc. anything that is published on the blog will also have a chance to be entered into the December special. Giving even the ones who are not able to enter by purchasing a prediction, they have a "free" way of entering as well.

So to be able to take advantage of this portion, just email me at cheri22@gmail.com with "blog post" in the subject line so it can be located. if you wish to remain anon, then I can do that as well and leave your name off the post:)

Its been one of those nights :(

Well, Sunday's I look forward to the night time when desperate housewives is on! Did I mention how much I like that show? My husband is really finding the name funny and always asks me if I am a "desperate housewife" lol.

Well, tonight has been different. My eldest, is not feeling well. Shes been kinda wanting to cuddle with me all day, but with me not feeling 100% (felt worn out) I wasn't in the most cuddly mood. I did cuddle a bit, but then also needed to get other stuff done. Tonight, she just kinda laid on the couch, not really doing too much and just watching scooby doo (she LOVES this show) I put her to bed at around 9pm, and by 9:30 she was calling for me. I went up, shes feeling warm, shes crying...etc. I check her temperature, shes warm but not too high which is good. Then we take her socks off (dont know why she was sleeping with them on tonight!) and then changed her pj shirt to something shorter. My husband laid with her to help her go back to sleep as she was still a bit upset, and he said she was asleep within minutes. I did give her some advil for children as she did complain her neck hurt yesterday, and with how shes feeling now, figured it would help her. I always feel so badly when my kids are sick :(

So wish her luck on feeling better tomorrow. Shes not missed a day of school yet and she loves to go. I know she would feel bad if she could not go tomorrow.

Now in regards to Decembers Special. Anyone who purchases a reading in the month of December (does not matter which one) Will receive a 2 month bypass special from me.. what is it you ask? Well, who ever wins at the end of December, will be allowed for ALL of JANUARY and ALL OF FEBRUARY to be able to email me at anytime during the two months with ANY questions they have. Doesn't matter what about, does not matter how many. Every email should be answered within 24 hours of it being received (hopefully even faster!) So basically unlimited access to  my abilities, help with life issues, help with getting you back on track, helping with conception (NOT LIKE THAT! LOL get your minds out of the gutter! lol) So again, EVERYONE who makes a purchase in December is able to be involved in this contest!

In regards to the contest... did you know

that sometimes when using photographs and trying to pick up on emotions and auras, that your sometimes actually seeing deep within yourself and picking up what your feeling? This will be really neat for you to go back now and see the color that you had written, head over to www.dreammoods.com and see what it says in relation to the color:)

So the winner of the challenge was PAULA G! Congrats to for winning! (name was drawn random)

Just contact me and I will forward you to Lyuda's email to claim your prize!

Do you ever find that Thursdays just kinda sneak up on you?

Seems like every time I turn around, there is Thursday again! I think its a sneaky day, and when you least expect it...its there!

Today has been a bit of a "long" day for me. I did not sleep that well last night, baby was up at 12:30am moving around in her crib, so I just put her in the spare bed with me. She was up at 5:30am to have a feed and then we were up for the day around 7:30. I seem to have a bit of a headache right now, which is not normal for me as luckily enough my headaches are few and far between. So already took a Tylenol, and just laying low right now.

Well, looks like I am going to be posting on time for the next reading giveaway for Lyuda's turn! I think that today we are going to work with "aura's"
. I want you to use the picture I have posted here and tell me what you see in regards to color.. you will either see it with your mind's eye, or you will "feel" it.. After telling me what color you see/feel, I want you to try and interpret it as to what that color means to you in relation to the picture.

Everyone will be entered to win. I will leave the contest open till SATURDAY to enable everyone to take a peek:)
Good luck!

bee pollen and royal jelly...does it work?

I am sure that when trying to conceive, most women are up for trying just about anything! I have heard some pretty neat ideas, and some funny ones, but I like to pass the information along as you never know when one might just do the trick! Here is a storey from a client of mine who has used bee pollen and royal jelly and wanted to share her journey and her information in the hopes it might help someone else as well.

I'm not really sure what it does exactly that helps me, but I've read things like it's "good for your eggs".  :)  It's also been called the bee's equivalent to fertility drugs.  Here is a link with some good info:

It's hard to find good links to sites that aren't trying to sell the product.  I think it's still valid information, but I get turned off by what looks like a commercial.  But, if you'd like me to gather some links up for you, I'd be happy to do so.  Like I said, I still think the information is valid.
Anyway, here is my story and what we did:

We began TTC in December 2006 (I was 34 and DH was 36).  No luck for a few months.  I had been researching different natural things for us to try, but was particularly interested in what I had read about bee pollen.  I decided to add 1 tablespoon of bee pollen to each of our daily post workout smoothies.  The bee pollen was in granule form.  Propolis and royal jelly both seemed to have great fertility benefits as well.  So, I decided we should also eat royal jelly everyday.  We would eat 1 teaspoon in the morning and 1 at night (on an empty stomach).  The kind we used was bought at GNC and it's royal jelly preserved in honey.  (I'm not a big fan of honey, so it's rather hard for me to choke down, but it's worth it!)  We did this for 2-3 months and got our first BFP!!  Sadly, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5.5 weeks.  We stopped taking the bee products.  I'm not sure why, we just didn't take it anymore.
We tried for a few more months with no luck.  So, we had a fertility work up.  It was discovered that I have a uterine anomaly due to a birth defect (nothing to do with fertility itself and nothing to do with my miscarriage).  I won't go into the boring details, but what it boils down to is that I only have a chance to conceive when I ovulate from the right side.  The good news was that all other fertility test came back with excellent results!  So, we kept trying for a few more months....
No luck.  So, we decided to try the bee products again.  This time, I ate the royal jelly only once per day...in the morning.  And, my DH took bee pollen capsules (2000-4000 mg per day....when he remembered).  I figured since the queen ate royal jelly and the workers ate bee pollen, we should do it that way, too.  If it didn't work, we would take it up a notch.
About 3 months later, I got another BFP!

As in anything that you read on the Internet or interested in trying, please consult with your dr to ensure that this does not interfere with something that you might already be taking. And if your allergic to bees, please do not try the bee pollen! lol

I also have found other information that I thought might also help explain some things about this topic

Bee pollen - Taken with Royal Jelly can possibly improve or eliminate menstrual problems. Is rich in vitamins, minerals, nucleic acids, and steroid hormones. Strengthens the pituitary gland.

Sarsaparilla - Contains both male and female hormones. For men, it increases sperm count especially when taken with Ginseng. For women, it balances female hormones, strengthens the pituitary gland and enhances both FSH & LH. Contains progesterone.

Did anyone see what happened to my weekend?

I some how lost it between Friday night and Monday morning? I woke up, and all of a sudden its Monday! I did not get a chance to post on the blog the winner and I apologize for keeping you all waiting. As mentioned, everyone who answered was entered, and I drew KRYSTAL C! Congrats! If you scroll down the blog you are going to find brookes link to her site. Just email her and let her know that you are the winner from the blog.

As for the weekend, seemed to go really fast. Saturday was a complete blur. My daughter had soccer Saturday morning IN THE RAIN, then we went out hunting for a van for myself. I am hoping to trade in my car for a van. I know with the price of gas seems silly, but as I am doing my friend a favor by watching her daughter and driving them to school back and forth, do you know how hard it is to get two 5 year olds and a baby all in car seats buckled into a Toyota Echo? Let me tell you, that pretty soon I am going to be an expert juggler. I have it down pact on who goes in first and gets buckled! lol. So a van would make things so much easier.

Well, on Saturday I learned that the most I can get for my car is 1/2 price of what I could sell it for privately, so I guess privately it is, and then will go looking for the van! lol.  Sunday we had the grey cup party at our house (I dont watch football, but everyone else seemed too!) and then we have today. I felt like I have gotten alot accomplished today including folding all the laundry in between answering as many emails as I could in the time the baby was sleeping. Did you know that the "louder" it is while the baby is sleeping, they tend to sleep better and longer? My baby slept almost 2 hours during the grey cup (like the Superbowl) party and this was when everyone was here. Today, I put on the music channel and she slept almost 2 hours. Do you think getting a white noise machine would do the trick? Anyone with any experience in that?

Anyways, baby is fussing behind me, wants my attention! lol.

Opening up your empath abilities

is actually quite easy. I think that you should all try and use them when it comes to this blog contest for Brooke777 reading give away! I want you to think of what you "feel" when you read my posts. Do they set an "emotion" for you? Like how I was feeling when writing it? Perhaps even picking this post and letting me know what you think I was feeling when writing this one. Its actually quite easy to use your empath abilities. This is probably one of the abilities that everyone has good strength with. Everyone again who attempts this will be entered to win. I will announce the winner on SATURDAY!

Now in regards to things here have been busy. I am helping my friend out by watching her daughter as well, and taking her daughter and mine to school. (they are both in the same class) and it seems with the other activities they are in and day to day life, things just seem to be busy! lol. Even baby was tired today. She was ready for bed at 7pm, but I had to stall her till at least 7:30. Shes still sleeping thank goodness with a few wake ups for that darn soother! lol. I will be happy when shes able to locate it in her crib and pop it in her mouth:) Save me from frequent trips in the middle of the night. Remind me again why I even gave her one? lol.
So remember, enter in the comments section of this post for the draw:) Leave a login name or email address where you can be contacted or connected with. I would hate to see you say your name is "lori" and find out that 4 lori's claim your prize! lol (no, this has not happened before, but always good to ensure it does not! lol)

The Winner!!

the actual answer was that she was crying/fussing because she wanted me to play with her and I was on the computer. I have an exesaucer behind me when at the computer but it only buys me 10-15 minutes! lol.. a quick peek in email or a post. She prefers the jolly jumper! lol

Anyways, only one person got it right (lori) but as everyone was allowed to be entered. I drew lucky number four post and that is "miss crystal" ( she is the fourth entry in comments section)

Please contact me cheri22@gmail.com with "Blog winner" in the subject line so I can forward you to Lyuda for your prize.

Now Lori, you don't go "empty handed" as you did get the answer right so email me with "blog post" in the subject line and I am more than happy to provide you with one free question from myself!

Congrats to those who won and keep your eyes open for Thursday to try again! (this time its Brooke777 give away!)

Have a good Sunday!

TThanks for answering the poll

I believe I will stick with 10,15,25 as per the poll, but also offer reiki and or tarot readings as an "add on" for those of you who want it.

The number one answer had 10,15,25 but to include reiki and or tarot readings included in that price, but since having only 10,15,25 with nothing added is a close second, I figure it would be easier to just have those as the base prices, and then offering an add on for those of you who want to take advantage of further offers. This is not going to happen until sometime in Jan, and if you look at my prices already, you will see that the only thing changing would be the 8.00 price to 10.00 and the other two will remain the same.

This weekend is going to be busy! Its my nephews first birthday party on Sunday! Hes  just started walking:) My sister is currently pregnant again and due the day before my baby was born! Came as kinda of a surprise to her. I am not sure if anyone remembers her storey, I posted about it before where they were told that they HAD to go through IVF to be able to conceive as her husbands reversal vasectomy showed the sperm as pretty much being 0%. The month they were to start IVF they found out they were pregnant with her son. Well, hes not even a year old, she missed/screwed up with some of her birth control pills and what do you know! Shes pregnant again! How surprising and how wonderful. Going from needing IVF according to the dr as they figure it would be "impossible" to conceive naturally, to having TWO babies. So don't give up hope guys! It can happen when you least expect it!

Don't forget to participate in the blog contest below! I will announce the winner tomorrow morning to give everyone enough time to participate!

Have a good weekend!

Apparently I can't belly dance!

Couldn't fall asleep last night for some reason. Not sure why. Kinda laid in bed half awake, and finally goto sleep around 1am. Baby was up a few times looking for her soother, had to get up and go and give it to her. She then decided that 7am was "wake up" time so fine I got up.

I turn on the tv downstairs, and notice a workout show on.. hmmmm, I could loose a few pounds, will turn it on and see if I can follow along. Well, apparently belly dancing is ALOT harder than it looks. After trying it for 5 minutes and not really getting the hang of it, I decided to watch Ellen instead. I have recently been addicted to Ellen. I have not really been a person to get to watch alot of morning TV as usually I was working. Now being home with baby has opened up more tv! (not sure I needed that!) I tend to watch only a few shows as I am not really addicted to daytime soaps. I love to watch Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy, but so far that is really all you will see me plan around! lol. Now, I really like Ellen as well. Her topics are always up beat and funny and she has such positive energy around her. Shes just always smiling, always having a good time, and you can't help but smile along with her. So if you have never experienced an Ellen show, turn it on, watch it for the first time and see exactly what I am talking about.

I think that when having a crummy day, and just everything seems to go a bit off, watch her show, its a good distraction and certainly can turn your mood up and you find yourself smiling and laughing. I can't imagine how many times I laughed during yesterdays episode (where it was her 900th episode and they show clips from previous shows). My daughter kept looking at me, asking why I was laughing and just told her the show was funny. After my 5th outburst of laughter, she starts laughing along as well. Not because she understood, but perhaps my own laughter was contagious!

So, I should have posted yesterday the contest for Lyuda tarot giveaway, but I forgot yesterday was Thursday! So here is the post today! I will make this easy for you guys!

What is the baby currently doing?
A) Laughing
B) Staring at me
C) Crying/fussing because her mom is on the computer and she wants attention
D) sleeping

how easy is that? All you have to do is post in the comments section on which one your voting for and leave an email address or a login name to get into contact with so that we know its you:)

Everyone who enters will get a chance to win. I will announce the winner on Sunday morning to give everyone enough time to enter!

Good luck!

A day of rememberance....

wondering if anyone actually partakes in any of the remembrance day celebrations? I know I guess its not really a celebration, but I think you all know what I mean....

My daughter is in sparks, and she was TOLD that she needed to be in a parade that they have locally. Now my daughter is only 5, and its POURING with rain here ALL DAY. I had asked her if she wanted to be in it, but she said no. Now my problem with this whole things is that the sparks leaders in my opinion, should have been teaching the girls what remembrance day is about, what its for, so they know why they would be involved in a parade. They never did that. They basically go once a week to their sparks "class' and COLOR. It really upsets me. I don't know what I expected to be honest when I signed her up, but I was in Brownies and Girl Guides when I was younger and I learned alot. I ask my daughter all the time if what they did that day and each time I get "coloring". I don't know if that's what they do the entire hour they are there?? But I do know that the guide leaders are very disorganized, and probably half the time don't know what they are doing!

Anyways, it was ME who explained to my daughter what remembrance day is and why its important. We watched some information on the tv about it (there was a big thing on CTV in Vancouver) and I also told her that my grandfather was in the war (world war 2) and he got shot in the butt and lived. That of course got a chuckle out of her, but I did explain why he was there, and what it was for. Its so hard for younger generations to understand it, and certainly don't need to know all the glory details.

Anyways, I guess my main things is the frustration to which they are running sparks. They don't know half the time what they are doing and because my daughter says shes having fun, I have just left it.. as all in all that is the whole point right? Even if she colors the whole time?

Anyone else have any daughters or experience with sparks? I have heard that some sparks groups get to goto plays and other things, ours...they color ! lol.

reading giveaway!

I know I was supposed to do this yesterday but I forgot! Today is the reading giveaway for Brooke777! I am going to do something different. Alot of people are really interested in the tarot cards and their meanings. I believe that not only do you need to learn the meanings of the cards by what the author of the tarot cards has done, but you also need to "feel" what the meaning can be by looking at the card. There is no "wrong" answer, and will help awaken your empath abilities.

Here is the card. I want you to take a look and see what you "feel" about this card, what you think it means....etc. I will post the answer SUNDAY to give people enough time to come and visit the blog and see it. EVERYONE who tries this, will be entered into this draw. I am going to do TWO giveaways. One, is the reading for brooke, and the other is a reiki session with me (I would
require your full body picture to complete this) When putting your comments in the section below, please also include if you are hoping to get the brooke777 reading or hoping to get the reiki session. (its okay if you would like to be entered for both, or only one or the other)

Good luck!

Don't forget, make sure to include an email address or a login name so that you can be traced back to claim your prize!

just something to make you laugh

having a better day today, perhaps as I am a bit more relaxed and not really running around with my head cut off kind of day! I have managed to reply to quite a bit of emails, and scheduled the ones that have come in. I now only have to do the ones that were scheduled today to be completed and I am set! So feeling like I am getting things done.

I have attached a picture of baby. Shes almost 6 months old. In the picture, shes eating a kit kat bar. Okay I know "bad mommy" but I just wanted to see what she would do with it. Her first bite in her mouth she looked at me like I had two heads, but this lasted on a moment before she shoved it back into her mouth. I could tell she enjoyed it, and was quite pissed when I took it away. After all she had polished the chocolate off the wafer and I did not want her to eat the wafer and possibly choke. (dont worry, I dont make a habit of feeding her chocolate all the time! lol)

So does anyone else think she enjoyed it? lol

a storey of a women with PCOS and her ttc journey

I know that alot of my clients have PCOS or other fertility related issues. I have a client of mine that wanted to share with you all her trying to conceive journey after being diagnosed with PCOS. I know that alot of women when trying to conceive, are usually worried, and stressed enough already without having a diagnosis and tends to be harder on the mind and body when you have something to "fight against". I just wanted everyone to read this storey. Although PCOS sometimes makes things more difficult to get your baby in your arms, its NOT impossible! Here is her storey!

My story
As you can probably tell from the site I frequent, I have Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I was officially dx'd in 2003 but had suffered with symptoms since I hit puberty which was around the age of 12. I was also dx'd as Insulin Resistant in August of 2007. I ttc off and on since 2006 using various natural methods such as natural progesterone cream to bring on my period whenever it was missing in action along with soy isoflavones which triggers ovulation in the same fashion the drug clomid does. I ovulated and got a period all of 2006, but no BFP. I ended up getting a BFP towards the end of January in 2007 which ended in a miscarriage at 5 weeks. After that, I had pretty much given up on ttc but I kept taking the soy isoflavones to insure that I ovulated and kept my cycle regular. In June of 2007, at my yearly gyno exam, I asked my dr if she would prescribe metformin to me as I had done research and found it to be beneficial to those with PCOS. She told me that it was out side of her parameter of care to prescribe so I sought out the help of an Endocrinologist. After a battery of test it was discovered that I was also Insulin resistant and he had no problem prescribing metformin and also suggested I do 3 cycles of bcp to get things back on track. I got off of bcp in December of 2007 and my cycles continued to be 28 days but I wasn't ovulating. I started taking soy isoflavones again and by march I was ovulating but it was later in my cycle which shortened my lutal phase significantly as my cycles were still 28 days. In April, my Endo upped my dosage of met to 2000mg and I ovulated on cycle day 14 that vary cycle. 2 months later, I was pregnant and I'm expecting a baby girl in March of 2009

have you been told you have high FSH levels?

I know that with most people this would usually happen when your a bit "older", but I have heard from other women too who were younger when ttc and have been diagnosed with high FSH levels. Have you ever thought of looking into herbal Chinese medicine to help naturally with this problem, rather than having the DR tell you that your "too old"?

Here is what I found!
High FSH is defined as a day 3 FSH value of over 10 mg/dl. High FSH is often the reason women are told they have no other option other than to use donor eggs to conceive. They may be told they have "old eggs".

The underlying causes of High FSH may include extreme stress, a lack of ovarian response to pituitary production of FSH or in Chinese medical theory it is considered a block in the energy of the meridians involved in reproduction.

The symptoms of High FSH may include those seen in women with low estrogen levels such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness, but sometimes it is can be associated with too much estrogen. Restoring communication between the pituitary gland and the ovaries is essential for good quality egg production and the lowering of High FSH. We do this with acupuncture and Chinese Herbal formulas that nourish the systems involved.

You are born with all the eggs you will need in your life time plus many, many, more (300,000-400,000). They come out of a resting state within the ovary and start a cycle of communication with your own blood flow, oxygenation, nutrition and hormones (including stress hormones). They remain in the same state as they were in when you were born until a protein synthesis occurs during the follicle's growth phase, which begins about 90 days before the egg is ovulated. This is where the potential breakdown (and poor egg quality/High FSH issues) occurs.

There are a couple of things to note about “high FSH”. One thing we have noticed is that FSH will go back down to within the “normal” range when women are given Chinese herbal formulas which are said to “nourish the Liver and Kidney” and I have witnessed these women getting pregnant naturally. Another notable fact is that I have seen women conceive and give birth with “high” FSH levels.

To practitioners of Oriental Medicine an FSH level is just a number. We have notice that once we identify and appropriately balance the underlying deficiency using acupuncture and Chinese herbs that the FSH level also seem to go down. Please note though, that our intention is not to lower the FSH but to correct imbalances that seem to occur as we age.

It is like we are able to turn back the clock by correcting the imbalances. We nourish the reproductive organs and these eggs that are waiting, dormant in the ovaries start to develop. It has been noted that it take 3 months or about 100 days for an egg that is dormant to develop to the point where they can be ovulated.

Patricia Karnowski M.S.O.M. doesn't believe in underlying poor egg quality/High FSH, except as a result of poor reproductive health. This is why women who have previously been told they are too old, poor responders, advanced maternal age, etc., can become pregnant after their bodies achieve a state of balance, in spite of their being told that they have no options due to High FSH. As we age, our bodies pay less attention to the reproductive system. With acupuncture and the correct Chinese herbal formulas we can encourage you body to normalize the hormones, and increase blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, while we reduce the effects of stress on your system therefore increasing egg quality in spite of a diagnosis of infertility because of High FSH.
http://www.fertilityformulas.com/LowerFSHNaturallywithHerbs.php

So dont just take "too old" as fact, look into other options, try acupuncture and see if you can locate a Chinese medicine practitioner in your area that perhaps can help you with something that is natural, good for your body and will help lower the FSH levels!

Do you ever just have one of those days?

Where you just feel "crabby" and the best shirt for you to wear is a "little miss grumpy" shirt? I seem to have lost my patience at some point today. Usually I am pretty good with keeping it close by, but for some reason today on the way to dropping my eldest daughter at kindergarten and coming back home, I seem to have misplaced it. Perhaps its the time change, perhaps its just the weather, or heck, maybe its just met, but everyone here seems to be "moody" and off their rocker! My eldest daughter (shes 5) was not listening at all today. Seemed to just know which buttons to push to make me mad.. or perhaps with my mood today just things she did made me mad? Or perhaps a bit of both. Baby not sleeping well today and was hard to get to bed tonight. I have literally put her to bed now THREE times and its not even 9pm. Hoping that she is down for the night so I can get started. I am myself hoping to have an early night as well. I feel tired and run down, so perhaps it is just me! lol.

My daughter and I had a conversation yesterday that had her in tears. She has told me before that she does not want me to get "wrinkly". I have told her before that I will eventually, and then it usually leads her to asking me if I will die someday. I have always been honest and told her yes, at some point I too will die. She tells me she will miss me, I tell her that I will always be with her in her heart, with her then telling me that she and baby need me here. Its a hard conversation to have. She in tears, me trying to keep it together knowing one day I will be gone and she will be without me. I try and tell myself that I hope to be here for a long time and it helps knowing I can come back and visit her when I am gone.

I actually remember being around 7 years old, and crying. My mom not sure how to help me, and she asked me why I was so upset. I told her that I did not want to die. I remember this vividly like this happened yesterday. I was sitting in front of the TV, watching it, I was on the floor cross legged, and I just started thinking about it and bawling. I walked into my room. This is where my mom talked to me about it and told me I would not die for a long time. Just like the conversation I had my with my daughter last night. Trying to tell her that there is a LONG time left before I would have to go (I actually have a feeling I will pass when I am 83) and told her that my mom was still here, that my grandmother was still here...etc. trying to show her how old people can get.

So has anyone had to have this conversation with their children? If so, how did it go? What did you say?

Novembers Special of the month!

I already have an idea for December too, but here is the November special!

I figure that this month, if you purchase the 25.00 bypass you will get not only 4 questions from me (can be life questions or related to ttc/pregnancy) but you will also get 2 tarot card readings by Lyuda (shes the new psychic on the block who I think you will all enjoy). To top off this November special, you will ALSO get a "reiki" session where I will go over your energy/auras/chakras and clear them for you. This will at times help relieve stress and tension in your life, help your chakras back into alignment, and perhaps even show any indication if there is anything blocking your ttc efforts. For me to be able to perform this treatment on you, I will require a full body shot of yourself (no sun glasses or hats in the picture please and yes, you need to be fully clothed! lol) The reiki session will last from 10-15 minutes and will be included with your completed reading. So anything that was felt to be connected to your body or mind etc will be listed in your reading for you to keep an eye on. Usually instantly or within 24-48 hours you should feel "better" you should feel more "relief" and I have heard from some people that even feeling more spiritually awakened after having this performed.

To take advantage of this offer, you need to purchase the 25.00 family bypass reading. You will need to send me an email right after and in the subject line please list NOVEMBER SPECIAL. This will allow me to schedule your reading in connection with Lyuda and ensure that I have the right picture for the Reiki session.

If you have any questions about this special of the month before you make a purchase, please email me at cheri22@gmail.com with NOVEMBER SPECIAL QUESTION in the subject line. This will allow me to locate it and respond to it asap.

Another reading giveaway!

Now my other client is willing to offer her readings away on the Thursdays opposite from Brooke777, so every Thursday is a reading giveaway!

To be able to get this chance to win a reading, your going to have to rely on your intuition. I need you to tell me what color my husbands truck is!!!! How easy is that! Those of you with good remote viewing techniques you can use this, you can write down colors and use pendulum, or just using your intuition to "feel" the color.

You have until tomorrow night to answer by commenting in the comments section of this post. I will announce the winner tomorrow night or Saturday at the latest.

What you win is two FREE questions to be answered by her with her tarot cards!

Good luck!

Do you have a "ghost" in your house?

I know for most of us, that we would rather like to think that there are not "ghosts" in our house or watching what we do 24/7. Not talking about just loved ones who have passed over, but all spirits in general. Here are some of the tell tale signs that you have a "ghost" in your house!

The following are some descriptions of ghostly activity, and thus are common phenomena found in hauntings. It is important to not be afraid and understand that a ghost is a person who is most likely wanting to be recognized for assistance. The following phenomena are not all-inclusive:
1) Cold spots. The manifestation of a ghost requires energy, and thus the area could be cold from the ghost using the energy of a specific location.
2) Electrical disturbances, such as flickering lights and radios turning off and on.
3) Movement of physical objects, such as doors.
4) Items missing or moved.
5) Water turning off and on.
6) Goosebumps, chills, the feeling that you are being watched, or touched.
7) Sounds, such as foot steps, music, voices, whispers, rapping, banging, something being dropped, etc.
8) Balls or orbs of light that appear and float around.
9) Shadows moving about a room or in the corner of one’s eye.
10) Odd behavior from a pet. Animals are very in tune with spirits around them.
11) Unexplained or known fragrances of the deceased.
12) Levitating objects.13) Mists, or vapors that appear.

Are you interested in hearing more about ghosts? I happened to have found some live web cams that allow you to goto places that have had ghosts sightings:) Check it out! http://www.libraryghost.com/

And watch these youtube clips! I dont have sound so no idea what it says:) lol

Happy Friday Everyone!

Yesterday was so busy with the free offer for October 23rd! I still have quite a few to answer from yesterday so if you have not gotten a response from me, don't panic! As long as your email was dated October 23rd and you have OCTOBER SPECIAL in your subject line I will respond! I believe that overall there was about 80-100 requests! I am sure I can go back and count them all, but it was alot! I am about halfway done and will have the rest completed for today.

I am a bit under the weather. With my lack of sleep (due to baby) I think I have a cold! My nose is slightly stuffy, and just feeling a bit blah. Slight headache that I am hoping just disappears!

Baby has not been sleeping well lately either. Shes now 5 months old (well just over anyways!) and I think shes teething as mentioned below. So with her lack of sleep and now mine, its starting to catch up on me! Baby has a fever so today I gave her some Tylenol in the hopes to bring it down which it has. Anyone have any natural ways to bring it down without having to resort to infant Tylenol?

My eldest is feeling a bit warm too, so hoping she does not have a bug. This weekend is going to be BUSY! Shes got soccer, a birthday party and a Halloween party to attend to so we are going to be run off our feet!

And to make matters "worse" for me, it appears that my af has finally returned after been gone for about 17 months (including the pregnancy time and having baby) So call me "naive" but I was under the impression that as long as I was breastfeeding, that most times you do not get your af? My friend said its not the case, as apparently for me, but wonder where I heard that? I k now too much information but it seems to be extremely heavy and not like "normal" so wondering if since this is the first one since I had her, that is the reason? Does anyone have multiple children and can relate? Or is it something I should be watching?

So I have not decided yet what I am going to do with the November special, but have a few things in mind:) If you have any suggestions on something you would love to see happen, feel free to email me with your ideas, (put in subject line BLOG POST) or leave a comment in the comments section of this blog post!

And with that, signing off, apparently the 45 min nap the baby took was enough to recharge her batteries! lol
